By Ogunsona Peter. Nigerians took to street of Abuja on Wednesday, 8th of August 2018 demanding The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to shelve the registration date that has been presumed to close on August 17. The protesters which are majorly youths turned out largely and on their hands were a big banner with an harsh-tag #LetNigeriansVote. Reacting to to the deadline of the voters registration deadline, Mr. Ariyo Dare described the action as “unimpressive, uncivilized and uncultured", adding that INEC is not following the constitution and the law" He said, "We have come here to express our concerns and also disagree with the INEC chairman to stop the continuous voters registration. According to constitution, Nigerians should have to continue doing their registration until sixty days to election" "If INEC has any problem of printing PVC or has faulty and damaged machine, the earliest they can stop is October 16, 2018. What we are saying is that the registration should continue until that date. There are people who will turn Eighteen years after May 29 and they should not be deprived of getting their PVCs. He concluded. On his part, Mr. Omoyele Sowore the young and vibrant presidential candidate who had single handedly done over sixty town hall meetings in the country with huge crowds present in the hall including Zamfara state, the second most deadly killing state in Nigeria after Borno state said "We are here today to make a very strong statement. We are here to disorganized the system that have been holding us to ransom and the only way we can do it is to register massively and vote the corrupt politicians out in 2019. "If we are denied to get our voters card, we will be denied to get the opportunity to vote comes 2019 general election and we have come to INEC not to beg but to serve them the notice to do this according to the law. We must vote the enemies of democracy out of power and the only way we can do this is to get this PVC. The publisher of the renowned Sahara Reporters whom had stir the atmosphere in the last few weeks by pulling massive crowds to him just because some youths believes he is young, visionary and credible to be the next President of Nigeria concluded that, "I want to urge INEC to be creative and be commonsensical because they can see that Nigerians are turning Eighteen everyday. So, registration should be everyday for Nigerians. We must also start making preparations for Nigerians in any part of the world to register and vote anywhere they are, I strongly believe it's the only way we can flush out the dead woods in our democratic system." Present at the rally were Kingsly Moghalu, the convener of "OurMumuDonDo" Mr Charles Oputa among others.

By Peter Ogunsona Presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore was on Saturday, 28th of July, 2018 continues his town hall meeting in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. The young and visionary leader who had shown interest to involve in the next Presidential election, has sent electric wave to the present government of Nigeria and springs up discussions amidst the elite, second-rate and youths of the country. The former Students Union President, (SUG) of University of Lagos State spoke with dauntlessness and braveness as the interactive session between the audience and him galvanized the atmosphere in the hall and cut-down the pressures of millions of his followers on him being corrupt if he finally becomes the next President of Nigeria. Most of the citizens of Nigeria have lost interest in the current state of the country due to massive corruptions that has eaten deep in the system. Omoyele Sowore made mention on how he repudiated Eight hundred thousands Naira in 1993. He said " I have lay eyes on money, money that is enough to sell my integrity. I have been offered millions in cash but I can never sell my integrity. In 1993, I was put in an offer of a whooping sum of Eight-hundred thousand Naira and you know what that means at that time. Apart from that, lot of cars and luxury things have been offered also, in which I rejected." The publisher of the renowned Sahara Reporters whom had stir the atmosphere in the last few weeks by pulling massive crowds to him just because some youths believes he is young, visionary and credible to be the next President of Nigeria. Sowore made mention on how he will reach out to those who have been neglected. "After we are done with the town-hall meetings with all the six geopolitical zones, we are going to the seventh zone that have been left out, the zones of the poor, weak, old, young people, students, physically challenged and those who have been ripped off. We have to make commitment and to be dedicated to take our country back from all the leaders that are corrupt so that this country can progress." He said. He continued further that "Those old politicians thought that we do not have experience or not ready, look at this hall, who is more ready? See as the hall is as full as a tick. Everyone came here without giving money for mobilization, you came here because you want to take it back with me and out of your own will and I must commend you for that. Omoyele Sowore concluded his town hall meeting in Kebbi which is mostly Hausa and Fulani state, with Islam as the major religion that they should get their PVC's and vote for him. "You need to get your PVC and vote for a young and vibrant man as your president, I am ready for leadership."

By Ogunsona Peter. It was as if their savior is here when the Presidential candidate, fearless and dauntless man, Omoleye Sowore, visits Lokoja, Kogi State for a town hall meeting in one of the most successful outings. Lokoja is a city in Nigeria. It lies at the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers and is the capital of Kogi State. While the Bassa Nge played Yoruba, Igala and Ebira are indigenous to the area, other ethnic groups of Nigeria, including the Igbo, Bini/Editor, Tiv, and Nupe have recently established themselves. The atmosphere of the hall was electric. While some people can't hide their joy and intense felicity of seeing Mr. Sowore for the first time vis-à-vis by making a squeal with delight, some were seated quietly to listen to what the revolutionary have to divulge to them. He said "I don't know if anyone seated here are paid or will be reimbursed for attending this town hall meeting. Crowd shouts "NO!". You have been in sedentary for hours waiting for me ...cuts in.. students singing 'you are a leader, you are a leader, you are a leader, you are a leader.' He continues, "This is one of the reasons you should vote for a young man like me. This is the kind of people we want. Why are we going to continue to be ruled by old men when we have energetic people like you, sharp brain, intellectual, people who have high abilities to create new things and think originally. People with strong stamina? I have already said this, anytime you take it for granted, your future will fall in the hand of wrong people." Nigeria, who is among the worst countries with bad roads which left her citizens’ vehicles in dreadful and damaging state. They feel trapped with nowhere to turn. This has brought frustrations and a feeling of resentful anger to the people who owns a newly and old vehicles. The potholes on major highways has cost lives which had also brought sorrow, wretchedness, distressed and lack of feeding to some families if the bread winner had been among the stooges of the accident. "You always get the wrong people as a senator and governor, look at how crummy, dreadful and bad your road is. First and foremost, I need to confess to you people that you don't have a government in Kogi state. Two hours journey turned to five hours because of awful roads in the state." He said. Moreover, we should be reminded that Nigeria has several agencies that ought to have be responsible for the constructing and maintaining the roads. On paper, billions have been voted for the rehabilitation of the road network in Nigeria and nothing has come forth from it like a Fig tree. According to research, from 2012 to 2018 over four thousand eight hundred and thirty six people have been killed by Fulani Herds Men. Some of the problems facing Nigeria are the Fulani herds’ men, lack of good health and security. Sowore who dressed neatly in his well-crafted blue native cloth with a black trouser, made mention on how security is one of the most important things he will put in place when he becomes the President of Nigeria. He further said "We are bringing security to the country so that the life of a common Nigerians will not be killed because of cows. How can a life of a cow be superior to the life a citizen? Even the policemen and other security agencies have been corrupted because of lack of providing adequate infrastructures for them. Now, they are looking for a better government and we will give it to them." Over 25 million Nigerians living with various forms of disability or the other and over 80 per cent of them are in the rural areas without social infrastructure and Federal Government presence targeted at People Living With Disabilities. He concluded his word by saying if only 25 million people are able to vote for him, he will win confidently. His word "As you can see the physically challenged people are not turning back, see them all over the hall, they are member of our population and them backing me up. I know it is very possible to win the next Presidential election. They too are human being and they are sick and tired of this country."

By Ogunsona Peter It was a night of music and dance, as industry greats, media, music lovers and fans joined leading Presidential aspirant Omoyele Sowore at the Lagos freedom park on Friday night. It was dark but you can see the glimpsing of the stars, overhear the creatures whispering under the trees. People were seen dancing beneath the red and blue disco light placed under the canopy of the podium for artist to do their bang-up job. The entourage of Sowore moved in like a flood of water that cannot be halt, they stole the show at the night party as people who are seated drinking and enjoying themselves can't but stand to reckon with the man of the moment. Sowore, who was given the microphone to speak to people spoke about the present situation of the country "We are not in analogue era, this is the time for the youths to rise with the digital brain leaders. This is the time for their permanent retirement, how many of those old leaders can organize a concert party like tonight? Please sit and enjoy the night with us" he said. The activist and the turn in the flesh of the corrupt government who is late, Fela Anikulapo Kuti's song was used to open the floor. The song draws the attention of the crowd as they put on the their dancing shoes. "There is poverty in the country to the extent that when there is an accident for her citizens, they need to call their relatives, go to all media and charity houses, raising an alarm for help, fund raising and as well as social media begging for money. Lots of graduates are ridding "okada" not because they want to have fun but because the country is not working, says comrade Lanre Adeleke who finally broke silence at the party. "Go to Igbobi today, you will see their legs hanged in there because they do not have fathers like Buhari, someone that is from Daura who doesn't care about the lives of his citizens, their lives are ruined and ruined forever." He speak further, "There are people living in Nigeria and as of today they are still sleeping outside and under the bridge, the housing is so bad, the education is dead to the world, we have fathers and mothers that went to public schools and they are doing good right now. But, the rich are taking their children abroad to study. We are the poorest in the world and the margin between the rich and the poor is getting wider" he concluded. Wole Sentimental who was the organizer, performed excellently well with Fela's-like costume. He drove the crowd crazy with his electric wave at a night that can never be forgettable. Also in attendance are a number of celebrities including, Jaywon, Kayefi, and Edaoto among others. Speaking at the end of the concert, The Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore lauded the large crowd present and gave them his assurance that when he becomes the next President of Nigeria, things will be hunky-dory. The park, which is now a serene abode for individuals, visitors' collective contemplation and interaction is open to the public every day. Today, freedom park has become a venue for diverse social events and recreational entertainment.
