in this age, 1gb of ram is obsolete except in iPhones. Octa-core processors are the song of the day. 8gb rom in a phone is completely obsolete and extinct.

Mah in all these cheap lower tier Chinese phones are rubbish - markering strategies meant to lure the public into purchasing their products. My friend's Samsung galaxy s7 edge 3600mAH surpasses my almost a month old pouvoir 2 5000mAh battery, by a significant margin. Even the batteries are not good quality, few days and weeks into its usage you begin to see a degrade in its life. If it's not Samsung, Apple, LG, HTC one plus or other top dogs in the business, never believe what all these naija phone companies - their techno, infinix them has to say. I can only trust guonee when it comes to battery life. My mum bought her p5 mini before my dad's w3, yet her 1800mah battery is worth saluting, over my dad's useless 2500mah battery.
A piece of advice: for better battery among these naija phones, go for the highest Mah you can find even though they are lies like gionee marathon m5 that has 6020mah. choose gionee first and infinix second. Never go for techno and never trust any Mah.


In other news, all those infinix and techno and gionee phones claiming 4gb and 6gb ram have the worst multitasking I have ever seen in a phone or equivalent ram memory.

There are many things that determine battery life of a phone. Infinix Note 2 has a 720p display while Note 4 pro has a 1080p FHD display More juice is needed to power better display. Also the way u use ur phone matters. If u use 4g then u will use more battery especially when u are in an area with poor signal whereby the phone will keep searching for 4g signal... that is a huge battery sucker

You have already said 1080p, what is the use of saying full HD display again? Abi na 1080 by 2160?

infinix hot 5 pro. I can't wait to change it, though it's about a month old. I cant bear seeing people use hot 6 pro while I rock it's junior brother... nope. plus I play graphic intensive games, so a 1.3ghz mediatek processor is not good enough. next phone in my sights is the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge. I don't think I scan use a phone for up to a year except it's Samsung.

p. s the battery started draining a bit faster than normal about 2 days after I bought it new. I'm a bit worried.

Lol, look at this one. I've used too many Samsung phones to know their phones are not the best when it comes to battery. S7 edge is great in battery and they followed it up with Note 7 which has amazing battery but then disaster struck, phone was exploding and Samsung had to take it off the shelves. They released S8 and decided to play safe to avoid the battery explosion incident, put smaller batteries which they carried to the s9 and s9 plus. A samsung flagship device can hardly give u 5 hours screen on time.. do the research urself. But of course battery life is not the selling point of these phones. Will that stop me from buying a Samsung device? of course not.. I don't care too much about battery life so far I get amazing display, performance, camera and good build quality.
