Let me drop my own contribution on this wonderful question. You see first of all, any relationship that one wants to get in should lead to marriage cos that's the importance of being in a relationship.

So i encourage any relationship that has been based on mutual consent by both the male and female that it will lead to something meaningful.

Almost every normal human being usually have urge for sex on rare occasions which was how Almighty God created us. That urge to have sex, when it comes ehn... the feeling is outta this world and the temptation to satisfy that feeling is intense.. Thus relationship aids the satisfaction.

So sex is necessary to ease these urges...
