PoliticsRe: Isaac Boro: Classic Example Of Biafran Who Betrayed Biafra. Osundefender by Whynotthetruth(m): 1:50pm On Nov 15, 2015
Freemanan:
.

Well, Firstly, happy Sunday.

Now, on the issue of it being my opinion, please pick up your history books (anyone you can get online or in hard copy that is written by an AUTHORITY) and see for yourself the story of Major Boro.... I don't have any personal opinion about the circumstances surrounding his death, and no one should twist it merely to entice his unrealistic course.

Also, on the issue of me being deluded and SS not being recognised by an geographical boundary, well all I can say is you should read wide and travel more. The SS is a political phrase - YES, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE NIGER DELTA?,Well, that's for another day.

You support the Biafra course for Freedom you said. Now who is caging or restricting them? You only seek freedom when you have been caged or restrained and I Dont see how that is the case here. Now, you may want to bring the old story of marginalization and other myths and Legend, but hey Mate, we have over 200 ethnic groups in Nigeria so do the maths... If an Isoko man (who his region contributes over time 100 of what the Biafra contributes to Nigeria) decides to cry foul due to marginalization and seek secession, how will you and the Biafra lots feel? Nigeria remains.

On the issue of your previous thoughts of my ethnic group... Well, you being wrong and jumping into conclusion is not a new thing. So continue my wayward son, there shall be peace when you are done.
smh... My last reply to you here...
1)What's your definition of authority?... Maybe this was written by what? BTW osundefender isn't Igbo friendly

2)You're confused on whether to claim you're SS or ND? cheesygringrin SS isn't existent anywhere but a political coinage ...ND has varied meaning... Its meaning as at today includes Imo and Abia state...So aren't you delusional ? cheesygrin

3)Majority of what you refer to ethnic groups in Nigeria are simply dialects or distortion or growth of languages overtime....To be a distinct ethnic group, you must be culturally, geographically, religiously and language-wise different from other groups ...I thought you claim to be a philosopher yet can't reason independently and constructively cheesygringrin

4)SS or ND isn't an ethnic group... So you're nowhere bro...simply you're usu undecided

We should not BTW fall for this gimmick from Osundefender...

1)Ever wondered why Yoruba that insist that SE is forcing SS out to join their secession now advising SE on SS treachery?

2)Ever wondered why Yoruba that insist that SS isn't part of Biafra now calling Adaka Boro a biafran that sold out Biafra?

3)Ever heard of "Divide & Rule" tactics?...This is it in play here...

This write up is gibberish.... Adaka Boro is my kinsman and this is definitely not his story... He was killed by someone ,,,, YES... but this shouldn't be politicized.... And Boro didn't lead the squad that chased out Biafran soldiers from the ND region... Damn the writer... Why distorting history.... A Major can't lead a company then even... So what's wrong with the writer?

This is just a write up to appeal to the pity of the South South people and see the Fulanis and Yorubas as the enemies....

Biafra is alone on their course .. We are not against them, but God and Satan forbid thatbwe will be allies.... Nigeria remains...
This is your personal opinion... others from your place have varied opinion too...ND as a matter of fact has different delineations...Its definition as at today includes Imo and Abia...SS is an alien word to dictionary of geographical boundaries...I am a fan of Biafra not because of having folks from your side in it but because of the FREEDOM therein...Enjoy your delusional and unfounded prayer undecided BTW I thought you were Yoruba?

Considering I bought it for 87 yesterday but that's the media and they have to sell.

The main issue is that there is a form of scarcity(artificial or real) of petrol and this administration have got to deal with it. The fact that it has gone on for a long time and nothing has been done is disappointing and frustrating.

It is not a time to blame anyone but to find a lasting solution to this madness. The government has spoken about cutting the middlemen and unfortunately, we have not felt that impact. This present stress on Nigerians is on the president and we can only put the blame at his feet.

As we go into a new week, we can only hope someone will wake up and find a solution to it
Last week around middle of the week, it was 120...and yesterday, it was 130 in Enugu state...So it's no media hype bro...

so when you create this biafra, the likes of theodore orji and orji kalu will stop existing ? and if i remember correctly it is your people who support corrupt people and hate upright people. it is your people demonstrating when saraki was facing corruption charges, same with diezani and jonathan. your people call it ' witch hunting '. so all these corrupt people will disappear once you form biafra ?
Do you think there are no thieves in New Zealand or America? Big No..but because they have strong institutions, the thieves cannot steal even if they want to...unlike Nigeria...Biafra will replicate same strong institutions not strong individuals like Tinubu in SW, Buhaei in North etc

grincheesygrin Who again demonstrated when tinubu was in cct?

Which people convulses here when fashola and co are called out to answer to their crimes?

Which region again do we see more than 90% of their governors inflating contracts by building a kilometre road with 1billion?

who told you states in Nigeria can't develop and diversify their economy without interfering with the federal government? The problem with Nigeria is that state governors are lazy and only depend on free federal government money. There is no law stopping a state governor from building factory, developing their agriculture, expanding commercial trades so as to increase their revenues. Besides apart from oil, most resources in Nigeria are not really economically viable. There is nothing really wrong with our constitution because its similar to that of the US and the US is doing fine
1)Start your education from land use act to why ND areas depend on FG and still struggle for resource control...maybe you understand more...

2)Government has NO business in some areas you listed above...

3)States depend on fg for incentives and subventions to delve into some fields like agriculture otherwise it will be fruitless venture...Ever asked why FG is building silos etc

4)Our constitution is dysfunctional and anti-progress and promotes lazy leadership and parasitic discipleship

If you are so afraid of holding your leaders accountable now, what magic would you then use to hold them accountable when you finally achieve Biafrahuh Just wondering. undecided
1)You need strong institutions to function effectively not strong individuals like Tinubu in SW or buhari in North... Ask America and other sensible economies and governments

2)Elections began in Nigeria in 2011 for the current Democratic dispensation... and I believe they made use of it judiciously except for where lapses of weak institutions allowed for manoeuvring by Nigeria groomed thieves and riggers ...

3)Build good, veritable and strong institutions and everybody falls in line...Same Nigerians that disobey traffic here obey same outside here...Thanks

yet again like your brothers, you reply with insults. Does diversification mean only exploration of minerals.? How has your IGR profile being so far, how willing are companies interested in siting in SE, how much tax is collected per month, what of human resources? Very little can be said of the SE, and it is the doings of your governors, senators, representatives majorly.
1)Yet again like your brothers you have selective amnesia... You blamed Jonathan for your woes in Osun, Lagos, Ogun or Oyo etc ruled by APC more than any party...yet chastise SE if they do same...Why didn't you hold yours accountable too and shifted them to Jonathanhuh... hypocrites!!!

2)Diversification is about so many things including mineral resources...

3)IGR is a function of economic activities there...Why did federal government refuse siting Seaport in proximity to commercial nerve centre of the country?...cheesygrin Do you know what that will do to IGR of SE states?...

Perhaps you do not realize that the legislature is the sole lawmaker, going by our current constitution. The constitution is the foundation. Whatever is agreed at any confab must be made into a law. In effect, you cannot bypass the legislature.

The prudent thing, to my mind is for constituents to mandate their reps to do the needful. The dilemma here is that We shall still go back to lawmakers, who,you want to avoid for obvious reasons. In additon, the the e'er political infrastructure you detest is,what the law recognised. I do not want to go into the subject of how they came about. All I can say is that the electoral infrastructure is based on specified voting units, for example the polling units.

Honestly, this confab should not be a partisan issue every community has its expectations. It is fruitless playing the blame game when the confab report has not even been submitted to the legislature. In effect , people had a conclave and went back to sleep.

I am amused at your suggestion that Tinubu is thinking for me when We are having an interface with you on the same subject and my views do not necessarily agree with his. Unfortunately, robust debate is not convenient in cyberspace due to time and space constraints.
1)We have NO constitution as a people for now...As the premise of that document which empowers legislature is a lie and fraud...hence it follows that other constituent parts is wrong too...Legislators gets their mandate from the PEOPLE...and Confab is to decided by the PEOPLE...

2)Resolutions in confab are grouped into three; some go to legislative, others are executive Fiat ...

3)Our constitution can be quashed in court if lawyers can challenge its veracity and mode of formation...

4)We can go for sovereign national conference and bycot legislature...Executive can send a bill for inclusion of referendum in our constitution... or right for self determination... prior to conference which will exonerate legislature from this....

5)Buhari should implement those that doesn't need legislative attention...

6)The lie that it was wrongly constituted was figment of Tinubu's imagination to justify his selfish stance...

I am all for creating an enabling environment for Nigeria to move forward and the confab was supposed to produce covenants that will chart the way forward.

Something is wrong with all of us , not the north alone if one section reneges on agreed positions. More blame should be placed on the others for allowing such.

However, I have always questioned the composition of that confab as it may nit have effectively captured the depth and spread of our country by way of geography, interests tribe and tongue.

Honestly, I thought the two national and state assemblies could have been a better platform, not all those compromised and geriatric bunch We had there. Let's face it, the legislature, not the confab, has the power to make laws. The confab h as been reduced to its bare bones... talkshop and Jonathan ploy to harvest the support of federalists and specifically the SW.Maybe APC saw the trick and refused to join.

Finally, I still are the legislators, being more representative of the people should be brave enough to do the job with inputs from pressure groups and constituents. They should earn their pay..

Not one should spend our money in another jamboree.
1)Aside APC mischievous hullabaloo which saw them elevate political gain above national gain, criticizing composition of confab was myopic and self-centered. It had every facet and group in Nigeria duly represented.

2)Legislatures are elected to work for the people under specific terms. Let them continue and get it right in that level...before seeking more assignments. Have they succeeded with mere constitutional amendment which has spanned for years without success...

3)Allowing for legislatures to represent in national conference is same as saying let the status quo remain...Because the military led by northern oligarchs has skewed the system that whatever decision to be taken must favour them because they have garnered the numbers through skewed state cum LGA creation...Eg: Ever wondered by PIB has not being passed for 8years now in NASShuh

4)If not for selfish ambition of Tinubu & co...Jonathan confab was best opportunity to restructure Nigeria...but they preferred personal political gain to national or regional gain...

5)Which part of North was not represented in confab?...So why reject collective decision reached there?...

Most of you allow tinubu & co to do the thinking for you and swallow whatever lie they give wholly...
