Yes,there is an Edo ethnicity and people that speak related languages from which EDO state is derived.

I am talking of languages with no afinity at all. For instance, in the middlebelt, state, the Igalas, Ebiras, Bassas, Okuns, Idomas, Tivs, Jukuns, etc are not even remotely related. This is just a small part of the middle belt.

U need to get your facts right before speaking. Edo is the name of a state not an ethnic group. There is nothing like Edo ethnic group or Edo tribe. What u have is Bini, Esan Igbanke etc.
