Selling the GENCOs at that time was the best thing to have happened but i dont quite agree with the way it was handled. Any ways, as pointed out by the MD Egbin Power plant, the government has to sell of TCN so that investment can be made on improving the transmission component of our power infrastructure.

Government has to take its hands off all these and allow the much needed growth in the power sector.

Actually Egbin is the largest gas fired plant in the country by a wide margin followed by the one at Ughelli or Sapele
