Did anyone choose University of Aberdeen and was contacted by Dragnet?

Please why I asked was because I had 2 missed calls from a number the same week some people said they got a call from dragnet. But when I tried to call back, I couldn't. I don't know if the number was programmed that way. Those that got a call, were you able to call the number again?

Well, when we say we don't like boring guys, it's not as if we want a talkative o. But as a guy, you should be able to keep up a conversation with your girl and make every moment spent with you to be lively. Do something to make us miss you more (not just sex).
As for me, I like a calm guy with a little bit of fuckboyness (a good bad guy). Balance the two, calmness and badboyness. wink
You dey motivate me ajeh

Mine is OSS and I was contacted by Dragnet with regards to admission confirmation.
Ohh! Were you asked to re-upload your admission letter or you didn't upload it before registration and asked to upload it? Thanks

Apparently someone was contacted about 2 weeks ago to confirm admission details, for now - I think best is just to wait and pray. The scholarship offers will drop anytime soon
Please do you know if any oversea applicant that was contacted? Seems like only LSS Applicants have been contacted to confirm their admission details or has anyone gotten a notification from their schools?
Education / Re: 2021/2022 Post Graduate Scholarship Award Scheme by Wickedinlaw: 6:16pm On Jul 09, 2021
ExpertNLer:
How the OSS works is that following the award of the scholarship - the beneficiaries chosen schools will be paid the tuition, after the tuition is paid - the rest of the funds will be transferred to a domiciliary account specified. That can now be used to sort out other things. However the person must provide a valid visa for that to happen (this is to prevent people from absconding once they have been paid their upkeep allowance). As for flight - AGIP themselves will book the flight for OSS awardees and hand them the ticket for the date of their choosing.

Finally - it is not a condition that you must come back upon completion of the program, you can apply for further studies or work or postgraduate visa as necessary. I hope this helps

Yes thank you. I really appreciate

What I am saying is that irrespective of what you applied for, you are considered for both Local and overseas categories. The best 5 are considered for overseas category, and the next best 5-10 are considered for local category.
Please I need clarification on this scholarship scheme especially for overseas applicants. Will the beneficiaries be given cash that covers the tuition, flight and all other expenses? Will the money be paid to their account? Or will the payment be made by Agip to the schools they chose? I know LSS normally receive cash according to former threads.. But how does the OSS work?... And again, are you expected to be back to your home country immediately after the program? Or you are allowed to apply for the UK postgraduate visa... Kindly clarify please

A quick one please... During panel interviews just like PWC interview, is it proper to address your interviewer by his or her first name? Especially when you are trying to direct a question to the interviewer.

I'm trying to clarify something with someone here please

I've been thinking of all the mistakes I made during the interview. Inasmuch I'm trying to be optimistic, it's not easy to overlook those things that could affect your chances.. I kept telling myself I could have done better if given a second chance....

No matter the outcome, I will still thank God for bringing me this far.

True though. I have heard testimony about someone who didn't do well in the interview and still got in. Whereas some think they did well, yet were unsuccessful. Intense preparation is key but grace is what will get you in, in the end. May God help us all. Result likely to be out first Thursday in September

Ohh. I thought the HR people said ending of August.. I mean next week..
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Pwc Graduate Recruitment 2020 by Wickedinlaw: 5:20pm On Aug 21, 2020
Don't think too much about it If you feel you didn't do well in the interview. If it's God's will for you to work with the firm, protocols would be broken for your sake.

I wish everyone good luck.

Be careful with the way you open mails from now oo grin

Let the countdown begin!!

Firstly, I'll like to thank everyone who took out of their time to share their experiences. It really helped and I'm sure I speak for many when I say we are grateful.

I had my interview today I'll like to think it well. I know most have written and this wont help many but for the select few and later sets this was what i was asked:
First Section : talk about the impact of going cashless on impulse buying (5 minutes)

Second Section:
1) tell us about yourself
2) why pwc
3) why are you switching from engr to acct? if shell coes wont you leave us
4) what have i been doing since january to august?
5) what have i been doing in preparation for a career in assurance services?
6) in two sentences why should we hire you?

Behavioral
1) A TIME I RECEIVED NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
2) a time i leveraged on past relationship in order to achieve a goal
3) a time i had to call up someone i wasnt very close to for a favor
4) an interesting I've done and challenges that followed
5) a time i displayed leadership and challenges that came with it
6) my likes

I hope this helps someone and you need to remain calm, I'm sure its something that will come naturally as the interview goes on and you gain confidence.
Finally! Good luck bro

It is not his fault, it is BBN organizers fault.

They compromised, if you have money you can pay ur way into the house.

It is no his fault, it is Laycon's fault, the intelligent Laycon is doing like a love/sex starved idiot.

As intelligent as he is he can't control his emotions.
He is loosing his real self over a person he spent barely 5 weeks with.

Kidwaya said d truth tho, he is richer than all of them including Ebuka.

Please can you enlighten us a little bit on how this background check is being carried out?
Ahhh I really don't know oo. Different firms, different methods.. But Google should give you a general view on how it is being done. But I think it's usually before offer, after interview

Hi All,
Before I share my experience, I want to say a big thank you to all those who shared their experiences or one input or another during the course of this ongoing process. Please know that blessings are upon the head of he that selleth corn and does not hoard it.

My interview took a form similar to that others:

The first part of the interview was a presentation on "Challenges facing SMEs during the covid 19 pandemic and my suggestions on how they could be overcomed" I was given 5 minutes to speak on this.

Then I was asked to introduce myself.
I was questioned about my role in my former Job and the impact it has had on the firm

I was asked behavioural questions like:

1. A time, I did something new or innovative.
2. A time I leveraged on my relationship with others to achieve a goal
3. A time I faced challenges outside of work.
4. A time I was given a task that was unclear.
5. A time I received a negative feedback at work.
6. A time I had to perform a task with a short notice or tight deadline.

Other questions like:
1. What BU would I fit into in Assurance
2. What I had learnt recently
3. How I keep up with the latest news.
4. Tell me about a recent national and global news and your thoughts on the global news.

My interview lasted for about 1 hour. Being calm is Key.
Thanks
