Let me just add my two cent. In this quest to collect this visa you have to be well calculated and not be strong headed. Look the embassy people are smart and thats why they change their rules frequently. They recently changed the accommodation rule because according to my embassy plug “a nigerian oh that helped my get my appointment“ he said a lot of people are bringing fake 1month hostel contract or airbnb like contract and getting visa so it was an issue with immigration in poland and thats why they changed it to at least a year. Secondly why they stopped collecting bank statements was because money was being deposited into sponsors accounts simply cos of they were applying for visa and a lot of people were getting thru that..so it casted. So you need to understand that in this case regardless of the fact that when you did it with credit card of 2m in your time it worked, that doesn’t mean it has not changed again. These guys get applications everyday and issue visas every day and they might have seen another trend and that might warrant changes. It could be that they have seen a lot of people going for bsc with self sponsorship with credit card limit of maybe 10million in this case and they are wondering why a young bsc aspirant has such money to self sponsor. So they know that most times its just a way to get the visa and the money removed after. So you that got your visa last month using this method good for you... but things change and these guys update their rules regularly.

What you do not realize is that a whole lot of things has changed and just yesterday we got another change in process from those who submitted their visa application. But you will never find those details on their website.

If you're very familiar with Visa waka as you stated, you should know that anything can change at any blipping time and you just have to adjust; when you try it your own way and it didn't work, then you have to try what works for others

For your information; we've also heard of some people who got visa with 2M. So what works for A might not work for B; All you need to do is try again with another method. As far as am concerned, from last year October till this moment if not all, a high number of those going for BSc and self sponsored got rejections. You can find out yourself.

I don't think your school stating that there is accommodation for you and the price is enough. They should say that you have made some payments for it no matter how little and you have available accommodation for 1 year at least

Very important oh. They will even ask at the embassy if the hostel is for a year at least. So tell the school to put one year or more there.

The school said embassy tell schools not to interfere with visa decisions that i should mail the embasy instead but they would contact the embassy anyways. Please how did you send the mail? What did you type in..cos i would like to send mine now jare

My brother same with me oh.. i was told to come for collection on 15th but them dey post me. Someone told me that they are getting more applications than usual plus the fact there was holiday breaks too. I was told to contact my school so they call the embassy on my behalf to hasten things. Maybe you can do the same.

Bro i need your help I’m supposed to be in Lublin now atm, I went for my appointment on the 16th of December and my collection date was 15th Jan but I went there on the 15th and I was told it was not ready and was told to come back on Monday which I did then I was told to come back on Wednesday which is today but it was yet postponed again to next Monday

I know actually. Im just wondering what he means by “ If you have a sponsor the amount in the sponsor account should be 160% of the money you need or above that to avoid number 3 (refusal based on insufficient funds or financial issue)on your refusal letter“

Either you use a Credit Card Statement or Sponsor's Documents

Omo my guyy you were lucky. The rules just changed like two week ago. They have updated the new informations on their website.

Sorry about your refusal. But this is not fair. I have been following the Polish embassy Abuja website and that requirement for applicants to book a housing contract for the entire visa duration is a recent update on their website.

Why should they now be using it as the basis for refusing the visa of those who had already submitted their application before they added the rule?

Anyway, I forgot anything goes in Nigeria.

Please @Lind2 mine wasn’t signed too oh or notarized. It was just copies of the payslips with company logo and the content...but employment letter was signed and stamped by company. Cos i followed the instructions on the website to the letter and it didnt say anything about signing payslip or notarizing anything except the sponsorship letter or affidavit of sponsorship. Hope there wont be issues now sha or what do you think?

You still need to prove that you have the funds to cover your stay. Are you going with self sponsorship or guarantor?

You dont need any original payslips bruv. What you need from sponsor is. 1. Affidavit of sponsor(original and notarized), 2. letter of sponsorship(original and notarized ), 3. employment letter from sponsor (original and colored)..ps someone was sent back cos he didn’t have original employment letter.. i think he scanned or photocopied. and 4.copies of 6months payslips. Remember they are not returning any of the documents you submit. So they dont expect you to take the original of your sponsors payslips to the embassy bro.

Guyyss... i have just spent the last 4hrs 29 mins calling the embassy. From when they switched on that line Right untill they switched off the lines. It kept saying busy. I used 7phones for this operation and dailed that number 3000+ times (no exaggerations here) there was nothing not even once did it ring. It was devastating. What would i do now to get this appointment. This is why people tend to do internal runs and everything in this naija has to be fraudulent one way or the other. Im sure people are getting this appointment internally and paying to get it. Im sure.. cos this doesn’t make any sense. If lots of people aren’t getting appointments that phone lines would be on all week. Appointments are being booked but its not for the average Nigerian like you and me that wants to go through proper channels. No cap

Hello guys please i need your help,
So i have gotten my files ready and they include:

Health insurance
Hostel booking
Birth certificate
Flight booking
Legalized certificate and letter from ministry of education
Notarized attestation/ affidavit from court
Notarized sponsorship letter
Certificate of employment of sponsor
Payslips for 6months of about 450k a month(some months were more due to additional allowances) and tax paper
Sponsors Certificate of occupancy
Sponsors id(passport page and office id card)
Documents from school And confirmation of payment of tuition from bank.

I hope i am not missing anything pleasee.

Secondly i am going for bachelors and im 25years and I finished sec school in 2010. Is there anyone here that got even though they are about this age or do you think it might hinder my visa application ??
