A 5-year-old boy Rakhim Kurayev who has been dubbed the ‘Chechen Schwarzenegger’, has been gifted a Mercedes Benz by a close lieutenant of Vladimir Putin for doing 4,105 push-ups in 2 hours.


The 5-year-old boy who was given keys to the luxury car as a reward for his 2 hours 25 minutes achievement, is said to be at kindergarten and will be repeating the exercise in a world record attempt.

Though it is unclear if taxpayers had paid for the £28,000 vehicle or if it came from Kadyrov’s personal wealth, however it was gathered that the boy had boasted to Putin loyalist Kadyrov that he could do more than 5,000 press-ups at one go.

‘The boy did the impossible,’ said Kadyrov.

‘We agreed to meet at a fitness centre and have a workout together.’


On the car gift, he said:

‘From now on his father will be able to drive the boy to workouts without hiring a taxi.’

It was however gathered that the 4,105 non-stop press-ups, beats the world record but was not registered in Russia because officials were not satisfied with the quality of the video recording of his feat.

The enmity between Linda Ikeji and Stella DimokoKorkus has gotten messier, as both bloggers last night exchanged hots words on Instagram.

The official Linda Ikeji Blog Instagram page reacted to Stella DimokoKorkus for blasting Linda for allegedly stealing her exclusive content. It all started when Stella yesterday  accused Linda of theft, and now Linda Ikeji Blog Instagram page has reacted to Stella calling Linda out for allegedly stealing her exclusive content.  Linda’s team claimed Stella also took some of Linda’s interviews without giving credit. When you lifted all my stories from Encomium to build your Blog I didn’t call you out but from now on I will show you how to steal stories and look the other way. Then she shared an old photo of Linda and revealed more.

She wrote:

A 24-year-old man identified as Osamudiamen Amayo who reportedly defiled a 9-year-old boy in Benin, has been handed a jail sentence by an Egor Magistrate court which sat in Benin, Edo state, on the 12th of November, 2018.

The 24-year-old man was reported to have committed the said offence around Medical Stores road, Benin City. He was arrested after the mother of the defiled 9-year-old boy started noticing strange behaviour of her son and the incremental lose of weight the boy was experiencing.

The mother of the rape victim who inquired the reason behind the recent development from her son, was told how Osamudiamen had incessantly had canal knowledge with him with threatened to kill him and the mother if he discloses what happens between them to anybody.

The case was reportedly taken up by the Edo Civil Society Organisations, who got the suspect arrested and ensured he was charged to court.

A 26-year-old Islamic teacher identified as Bilyaminu Halilu, has been arrested by the Gombe State Police Command for defiling his 5-year-old female student.

The State’s Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Mukaddas, who paraded the suspect who was arrested on November 1 before newsmen, disclosed that Halilu was a teacher at Raudatul Quranic Primary and Secondary School by-pass Gombe.

The Islamic teacher who took his 5-year-old female student to his office, laid her on the table and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her, was arrested after the girl’s mother who noticed blood in her private part while bathing her in the evening, was told that teacher was responsible when she questioned her daughter.

Nollyood actor, Femi Adebayo Salami, took to his IG page this afternoon to appreciate God after he narrowly escaped an attack by two gunmen in Lagos this afternoon. Adebayo in his post wrote

“I thank God for his protection over me and mine. I know my job comes with its risk. Working as an Actor and Politician requires my regular movement.

Today, Just at the U turn coming from CMD Magodo around 7UP heading towards Ojota, my vehicle was accosted by men in a Toyota Corolla. They crossed my vehicle at the U Turn. 2 men alighted from the vehicle bearing AK47s. They tried to force the doors open. They kept hitting my car with the butt of their gun. In the process, they broke the door handle and left dents on different parts of my vehicle.

All these happened in full view of other vehicles and other individuals passing by. In the short time this happened, no one came to help. The guys were obviously not Policemen, they didn’t wear any Insigna of the force. They wore plain clothes and had extra guts to perform this act during the day at about 12 noon.

Their assumption will have been that I was in the vehicle but my driver was the only one enroute to my location. With swiftness, he was able to maneuver and sped off. I thank God for keeping him. We are all still shocked at this but grateful to God that no life was lost in the process. ?#FemiAdebayo’

A Man has raised alarm after he spotted some men using Sniper as a pesticide to kill weevils in beans.

Sniper is known to be a very dangerous insecticide that should be used outdoors and should never come in contact with food.

But, in a bid to make profit, the beans sellers used it to ensure their beans stays weevil-free.

The young man who saw them said he has seen this happen multiple times at Iddo market but they never listen to him whenever he challenges their unscrupulous practice.

A commercial vehicle driver (name withheld), on Tuesday, received two million Naira as reward from the Zamfara State Government for killing two armed bandits last week.

Handing over the money on behalf of the state government in his office, the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Bello Dankande said the gesture was in fulfilment of the state governor’s pledge to give N1 million in exchange for each AK 47 rifle seized from bandits.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the driver ran into the two bandits along Gidan Jaja/Gurbin Bore Road of Zurmi local government area of the state in the night.

He said the incident happened when the bandits were attempting to cross the road with their rifles on their shoulders killing them instantly.

Similarly, two other communities benefited from the same gesture of N1 million each having apprehended two bandits, seized their guns and handed them over to the security agents.

The commissioner added that the two communities were that of Unguwan Mallamai in Maradun local government and Matuzgi in Talata-Mafara local government areas.

He restated the state government’s commitment to continue to giving out the reward. He said, “the state government is ready to give N100 million to any person or group that collects 100 AK 47 and we will continue to improve on the security of all communities in the state.”

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni came under fire on Monday for saying he had not stepped into the kitchen since he got married, and that he believes that other men shouldn’t cook as well as it’s not a man’s role to do so.

He said:

“The head of the home never goes into the kitchen. It is now 45 years with Mama Janet, I have never stepped into the kitchen. That is how it should be,” on Sunday in a statement, as an example of how politicians and civil servants should stick to prescribed roles.

Oxfam’s International Executive Director, Winnie Byanyima, hit back at the 74-year-old president on Twitter, saying she was “disappointed”.

“Cooking isn’t a woman’s job. It’s a life skill. All people – men and women should cook,” she wrote.

“When cooking, cleaning and doing other domestic chores are left to women, they are denied an equal chance to raise incomes or to be politically active.”


Beatrice Alaso from the opposition Forum For Democratic Change told AFP:

“Museveni has revealed to the world what he has always believed in: that women can never be the same as their male counterparts.”

Online news website Watchdog Uganda however defended Museveni’s comments as consistent with the country’s culture which sees men cooking as “taboo”, saying some ethnic groups in the country have a word referring to men who cook as a “transvestite or a man dressing and behaving like a woman so men shouldn’t cook.”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, have arrested and arraigned the residing pastor of the Power of the Holy Ghost Evangelical Ministry in Lagos, Prophet Cletus Ilongwo, for allegedly defrauding a member of his church to the tune of N59.7m, The Punch reports.


EFCC had arrested Ilongwo early this year after the church member had reported a case of fraud against him to the tune of N 85 million. According to the church member, the clergyman’s fraud told the antigraft agency that Ilongwo’s action caused him his job in one of the first generation banks in the country.

Ilongwo allegedly jumped bail and left his surety to languish in the EFCC detention, while efforts to re-arrest him proved abortive.


The suspect was said to have received the said amount from one Obinna Ezenwaka at different times in 2016 on the pretext of helping him to purchase a property located at 165c, Diamond Estate, Amuwo-Odofin.


According to the EFCC, Ilongwo collected the sum in tranches through his Zenith Bank account 1003455899.

At Monday’s proceedings, llongwo, who was dressed in a long red robe, pleaded not guilty to the 11 counts charge bordering on fraud preferred against him.

The charges read in part:

“That you, Cletus Ilongwo, on January 29, 2016, at Lagos, within the Ikeja Juridical Division, dishonestly converted for your own use the sum of N10m, being money received through your Zenith Bank account number 1003495899 from Obinna Ezenwaka meant for the purchase of the property situated at No 165c, Block 12, Diamond Estate, Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos.”

In view of his plea, the prosecution counsel, Ahmed Yerima, applied for a date for the commencement of trial, while the defence counsel, P.N. Orji, informed the court about a pending bail application he filed on behalf of his client.

Yerima did not, however, oppose the bail application, but asked for time to respond to it.

The presiding judge, Justice Sherifat Solebo, adjourned the matter till November 14 and 19, respectively for hearing of the bail application and commencement of trial.

She ordered that Ilongwo be remanded in prison pending the approval of his bail application.

A lecturer in an Asian University mistakenly launched a pornographic slide in class while taking his students on a course.

In a video posted on popular social medium, Twitter, the presentation could be seen sliding from one photo to another until it reached a video, which continued to play.

The lecturer was not immediately close to where his laptop was and the slide played for close to 30 seconds before he rushed to close the Window.

Students who captured the video of the pornographic slide could be seen laughing at the background while some of them covered their faces with their books so as not to be defiled from the sight of the rather illicit video.

The video was eventually posted on twitter by a lady identified as Samantha and it may soon go viral on his laptop.

The video, for some reasons, cannot be posted here, however.
