I do not agree to the naming of the university of Abuja. That University should remain University of Abuja. It gives it that clean names. Gowon was political and political things should not be used to stain the name of the university. Now the brand name has been polluted by politician. GOWON WAS NOT AN EDUCATIONIST. INFACT HE DID NOT GO TO A UNIVERSITY. IT WAS AFTER HE WAS OVERTHROWN FROM POWER BY GENERAL MURTALA MUHAMMED while he was attending an OAU conference in Kampala, Uganda hosted by the late Uganda leader, Marshal Idi Amin Dada that news broke out in the venue of the conference that there is a military coup in Nigeria and that General Yakubu Gowon 's government had been overthrown. Then Gowon instead of coming back to Nigeria, he instead flew to London to stay on self imposed exile. He never returned to Nigeria he started enrolling to study for a degree. SO GOWON WAS NOT AN EDUCATIONAL MAN. Renaming university after political leaders is wrong in Nigeria. It corrupts the brand name. GENERAL GOWON ALREADY HAD MONUMENT LIKE ROADS IN JOS, PLATEAU NAMED AFTER HIM. I am strongly against this naming. It is going to affect the marketability of this university. |

He was a foolish man. Russia, Belarus, China, Mongolia and North Korea remain the best place to hide from the law. Especially issues that has to do with western monetary interest. Infact, go to Russia and declare asylum. However, there are so many legit way to earn money on the internet. One does not need to defraud foreigners, Nigerian, fellow African to earn or BREAK BANK. |

Germany invest in our Electricity Power Sectors if you are very committed towards the development of Nigeria. I know Julius Berger is doing very well in road constructions. Wike used Julius Berger to develop roads and that is what is encouraging governor Oborevwori of Delta state to engage Julius Berger. |

One of the good aspect of governor Mbah is that he not only invest in infrastructure but also in human capital like jobs creation. His counter part in Delta state ( Governor Sheriff Oborevwori ) and that of Edo state ( Monday Okpebholo are investing in only roads and flyover. This is not good enough.
