This ''ONE NIGERIA'' Sermon that General Yakubu Gowon painted in the heart of northerners.

It is highly questionable.

One Nigeria this and One Nigeria that

It is not wrong if one regions breaks away or demand for autonomy.

If you say you believe in One Nigeria.

It is okay but we can still test it with a United Nation Referendum.

free2ryhme:
So VAT revenue skyrocketed, but where’s the impact on the lives of Nigerians? Hunger is worse, inflation is killing businesses, roads are still terrible, insecurity is everywhere, and corruption is business as usual. The government is collecting more money, but what’s changing for the people? More taxes, higher prices, and still no basic services. If revenue is growing this much, Nigerians should be seeing improvements, not more suffering.
You hit the nail on the head.

Government in Nigeria is prioritizing poverty.

ECOWAS know that if they try such thing on citizens from these Francophone countries their government will respond by imposing a NO FLY ZONE across their territory.

Nigeria aircraft destined for Europe can not fly through Niger republic airspace.

And aircraft from Nigeria will have to fly through Benin-Togo-Ghana Airspace passing through Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Gambia to Senegal before crossing to Europe in the Sky.

That will be a very long distance.

There is an urgent need for comprehensive awareness initiatives for the people of Nigeria. HIV is highly preventable, and by implementing effective measures, we can significantly reduce the number of new infections and potentially halt further transmission.
Those who are sexually reckless are the people who should worry about HIV AND AIDS.

But the federal government should use its earning from crude oil to fund the project and prevent HIV and AIDS spreading to women and children including the men.

Married Couples should be careful with their lifestyle.

Abstinance from se.x outside a faithful marriage is better and Preventive option.

Russia and China are the two major countries that use unmanned automatic air defense systems. Meaning they use sensors to shoot down anything that Flys over it.

This is wrong.
Air defense systems should be manned NOT unmanned. This way the operator will know the difference between passenger and fighter planes. The unmanned system cannot differentiate hence the reason it shot down the aircraft.

If you want to understand how it works, just watch Tom Cruise "Top Gun 2" movie
Thanks for the explanation.
Travel › Re: Lekki Deep Seaport View At Night by wink2015(m): 5:14pm On Dec 27, 2024
Governors of Maritime States like Delta, Bayelsa, etc should look for ways to develop the maritime industries in their states.

For example, Delta state has 4 seaport, Burutu seaport, Warri Seaport, Sapele Seaport and Koko Seaport.

None of these seaports are functional.

This is because the governors of the states focus too much on crude oil.

Governors of the states in the Niger delta region like Delta state that is a marine states can engaged the federal government to give them the right to run the seaports in their states.

There are a lot of young people that need jobs but they can not find any.

The sea port will create jobs for the youth of the region.

JackHken:
First- these monies were part of the reason she was sacked! She was fond of using official letter head, Tinubu’s name and govt venues to raise money deceitfully for private purposes. For Christ sake - she even used official letter head to invite big boys for her husband’s birthday party all because she wanted them to give her gifts.Second- she did not return all of the money. She still has not returned Over 150 million went into her account and that of her son- the only ones she returned were the ones that entered the account of her NGO because she heard it had being reported to EFCC. The woman is a crook and a bold face LIAR. She is an actress so she knows how to pretend. Her Modus operandi was to hide behind care for the poor to embezzle money. She will give you 100k in front of the camera and go and write for the ministry to refund her 1m naira. She attacked the UN because they refused to divert funds into her personal account. Disrupted events because they refused to pay money into her son’s account. She is very brazen. She is desperately campaigning and lobbying to be made head of an agency now. All these media appearances are to convince Tinubu that she is a good woman. She is paying heavily for him to remove social welfare from ministry of health into a new agency for her where she will have direct control over the money. A woman who diverted most of the okrika bales that were given to her for poor women! It is difficult to explain her kind of greed - it is more than extreme! She better face her cheap acting career if not she will be exposed with evidence. She cannot be spreading lies against a whole ministry and people will keep quiet. Enough of the falsehood!
YOU KNOW HER BETTER.

You have said it all.
Politics › Re: I Returned The Money Donated To Me - Uju Ohanenye (Video) by wink2015(m): 5:18am On Dec 27, 2024
The federal government should have frozen the funds in those accounts before sacking her.

There should be a public policy that donation must go through designated account controlled by the principal government officials not only the minister.

Or

Did she collect the money through her personal bank accounts?
Politics › Re: Ikwere Is Not Igbo - Ikwere Indigenes Say No To Ohaneze Ndigbo by wink2015(m): 6:20am On Dec 25, 2024
Ikwerre people do not even border yourself too much.

If any of your sons think he can apply for the position of Ohaneze.

He can go and give it a trials.

But the Ikwerre should ensure that Igbo people of the south east refrain from making Port Harcourt a playground for the cultivation of Biafra or the recently announced united States of Biafra.

Ensure the Igbo from Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia state do not use such positions to fight to get inclusions in Rivers state economic, political and socio cultural system.

I think Igbo from the south east are on a mission to muzzle minorities into agreeing to their sinister intentions.

You can name the CONFERENCE HALL in the university of Abuja after General Gowon.

But allow the brand name of the university to remain.

That brand name is a selling point of the university.
Education › Re: ACF Hails Renaming Of University Of Abuja After Gowon by wink2015(m): 1:08pm On Dec 19, 2024
The federal government should have named a faculty in the University after General Gowon.

It is wrong to tamper with the BRAND NAME of the University.

There are a lot of young Nigerian and even International student who attends Universities in Nigeria due to the attractions that goes with the brand name.

Take for example, the University of Benin, University of Port Harcourt, University of Lagos, University of Ibadan.

The University of Abuja should take that trend.

I urge those in authority to reverse this abnormally.

Yes, General Yakubu Gowon held power as military Head of States of Nigeria during its most critical moment in the history of Nigeria.

He fought against the Biafran Secessionist led by the Late Lt. Col Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu.

He ended the civil war and kept Nigeria as one country.

The fact that he was Nigeria's war time leader and Head of States should not be the reasons that the federal government should adopt a wrong policies.
