Business / Re: Concerns As Greenville LNG Risks Another Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit by winterfell007(m): 3:35pm On Dec 01, 2022 |
There should more competition to open up the LPG market. It's sad Greenville can't keep to contracts it signs. We have OPLs in the Anambra basin, Imo River and Akwa-ibom. Smaller start up should take up the challenge of building mini-LNG plants, the technology to do that is now available and getting more cost effective. Nigeria should take this 'decade of gas' mantra seriously. I'm aware Oando is doing something similar in Ajaokuta, Waltersmith is quite impressive with what it did in Imo State, they are currently expanding their operations to include a mini-lng plant and 45000 condensate refinery. The economy of country will be driven by gas, states like Akwa-ibom, Rivers, Delta, Imo, Edo and probably Anambra could see GDP improve remarkably if they start investing in gas for industrialization. |

Jogs1900:Another party will perform a whole better than Tinubu. Stop hyping that druggie. Looking at Akwa-Ibom, it's most fantastic state in Nigeria and it's governed by PDP |

Sasi54:The world? Very laughable. Africa? Highly doubtful, other African countries don't see us a truly united country. Maybe in West Africa and that's because our population which a large but unproductive dwarfs any other region in the economic bloc. |

Education / Re: List Of States With Lowest Number Of Out Of School Children by winterfell007(m): 7:26pm On Nov 27, 2022 |
Truly Obi values education. It's evident in the way he did it in Anambra state. Why don't we give me a chance at the centre? Is he because he's igbo? If he were an Hausa man, he'd have long won the election 4 Likes |
Religion / Re: Is The 'Prosperity' Gospel A Scam? by winterfell007(m): 2:20pm On Nov 27, 2022 |
Realists:Now I have confirmed you're a Muslim from the North. Very easy now to pinpoint anti-obi folks. And for the record, Islam is not the fastest growing religion, in fact, islamophobia is arguably the fastest growing feeling in the world. Even your fellow Muslims are beginning to detest it, ask Iranians and Afghanistan men and women who are trapped in the suppressive system. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Pictures Of Lekki Deep Seaport by winterfell007(m): 2:28pm On Oct 29, 2022 |
drlateef:You’re delusional if you think Lagos economy is that big to seek secession. Lagos heavily relies on Nigeria’s 200million population, if Lagos were to be a country of her own, do you think, she’ll gain all these investment she’s getting. Never! Lagos is not attracting these sort of investment because of Tinubu’s magic Wand, that’s a fat lie. Lagos is attracting this investment because of the huge 30 million market and the potential to supply over 160million people. That’s what is drawing these investment nothing more |
Travel / Re: Kano Is Beautiful (See Pictures) by winterfell007(m): 8:56am On Oct 25, 2022 |
Iykenuwa:Forget it! The south is a lot richer than the north. No comparism. Even Kano can’t compete with Owerri in terms of beauty and economy talkless of other richer state like Akwaibom and Rivers. Kano only has landmass suitable for root crops. That’s the truth. Come down south and see absolute splendour |

Owerriboi:You’re just a bullshit talker, Budgit has just released the latest figures confirming Imo state to be the fourth richest state in Nigeria and you’re debating, who are you to debate that? Even the NBS you’re talking about relies on Budgit’s stat when making their comprehensive report. And for the record, I’m from Anambra state in Adazi Nnukwu, Imo tops the chart above anambra and that’s the truth. Your ranting can’t change that 2 Likes |

Owerriboi: You are full idiot Chino. I know you’re so pained to see Imo topple Anambra. You’re using an old figure to make comparisms when Budgit, a reputable research organization has brought its latest ranking, because it doesn’t Favour your useless ego, doesn’t make the statistics a lie. Till thy Kingdom come, Owerri will always be the richest state in the southeast and fifth richest country in Nigeria. Know that and know peace 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by winterfell007(m): 4:11pm On Oct 15, 2022 |
Owerriboi:If you like yab Imo state from now till tomorrow, it won’t change the fact that she’s the fifth biggest economy in Nigeria in terms of GDP, having a GDP per capital that’s probably the highest. She’s the richest state in southeast even Anambra won’t dare to compare herself to her. Imo state is huge in oil and gas and has a growing manufacturing and hotel industry. Know that and know peace. I was in your shoes not long ago. It can be depressing but don’t let it get to you. Try to improve on your self, set new goals, gain newer and more relevant skills and reapply in the job market. Trust me, they’re still jobs been advertised everyday in Nigeria. Just improve on your relevant skill and you’ll be reabsorbed shortly into the Labour market Above stick to eating fruits and vegetables, it helped me to improve my mood and cope with the depressive feeling. That was what worked for me 2 Likes |

Princedapace: Don't mind those folks, they are too full of themselves. If you check, they aren't really natives of Lagos just basking in the glory that Lagos is situated in the southwest region, that's all. If you try to compare Lagos with other mega-metropolis, you'll see them giving the filmiest of excuses. But they prepare to trump Lagos as a local champion. Even 80% of the investments that comes to the UK stays in London, it's natural because it's the commercial nerve centre of the UK, where you expecting the investment to be set up in Sheffield? |
