Peter Obi biggest mistake was to make this drunkard his successor. What that fool looted from Anambra coffers was unimaginable. EFCC wasn't smart, they allowed Obiano to use the judiciary to escape. They can as well arrest the wife till the husband returns.
PoliticsRe: List Of Oil Marketers Approved By Dangote Refinery To Lift Refined Products by winterfell007(m): 8:41am On Jan 19, 2024
I commend Dangote for this. It does appear we are becoming self-sufficient in fuels. I expect BUA refinery to come on stream and the Walter-Smith Refinery to expand on its capacity.
PoliticsRe: Shell To Sell Nigeria Onshore Oil Business For $1.3 Billion by winterfell007(m): 12:10pm On Jan 16, 2024
Kenochi:
Let me take sometime to educate Nigerians before some people will come here and start claiming that the Economy is failing
Most operators in Nigeria's Upstream Oil and Gas Sector know that their game is up,there was a time Nigeria through the NNPCL had to resort to the importation of Refined Crude oil for close to 20 years. This allowed NNPCL and most Oil and Gas companies to participate in the controversy Oil Swap
Most Oil and Gas Companies used this fraudulent practice to shortchange the country, they collected crude oil and brought back Refined crude oil and still collected subsidy. Nigeria was fair game and all this big Oil companies looted Nigeria dry
Then something happened, the Dangote Refinery was mooted and this would put an end to this evil practice. Most Oil Companies knee that if this Refinery ever started their easy money was over
My people, this is what is happening. I am confident that more Oil companies will leave the country because their access to free money is gone for good

Still selling good properties with good titles at the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub....kindly check my signature
Oga you lie. Stop misinforming the public. The reason why they selling off their onshore oil blocks is because it has become increasingly difficult to operate in that terrain where Niger-delta and Ikwerre boys are operating. Hence they are selling off to operate in Deep offshore where it'll be a lot for those militant to operate. More importantly, these companies are increasingly looking towards gas investment. If you know Shell, you'd know they can't engage in such unscrupulous act otherwise they'll be sanction by their government in Netherland.

The bank has a big hand in her death. The government need to wake up and set up an institution that caters to staff welfare. NLC only fights for government workers' minimum wage and their own pockets. We need a regulatory body where staff can report workplaces with bad working conditions. These banks give their marketers ridiculous targets yet no one is talking about it. Now someone has taken her life due to the pressure, things must not continue like this.
Not just the bank but across the private sector, just yesterday, my chairman just dismissed his deputy director just like that. I was completely shocked and frightened. I was wondering maybe he was involved in fraud but that wasn't the case. Nigeria has a very loose labour laws and this is where you expect the NLC to step up their game and parley with the NASS to pass the bills that protect the labourers both Private and Public sector. I see no reason why they shouldn't make it mandatory for company to be paying job-loss insurance for each and every of their employees and that fund can be accessed whenever those employee have been relieved of duty except in cases whereby the employee was involved in crime.
PoliticsRe: Osita Chidoka: The Betta Edu Saga Reveals Deep Systemic Issues by winterfell007(m): 7:07am On Jan 10, 2024
Osita own too dey in body. I must confess he was spot on this analysis. This is a complete failure on the system processes going on in the ministry. The indicted honorable minister shouldn't be the only one taking the fall. Others within the various units of the ministry should be thoroughly investigated.
BusinessRe: Nigeria To Begin To Supply Gas To South Africa From 2024 by winterfell007(m):
To those who are saying Nigeria is ill-capable. Let me burst your bubble. Nigeria has the largest gas reserve of gas. A 120 trillion gas cubic meter of discovered gas and a potential discovery of 600 trillion cubic meter of Gas. That's unmatched in Africa. Even Algeria, our closest rival in gas reserves don't even come close. Nigeria has the capacity to supply the West African region with Gas for industries hence she built the West African Gas Pipeline (WAGP) which is currently being redoubled in capacity to meet growing needs. Also we have the NLNG that is supplying Nigeria with about 45% of her gas needs. It is also worthy to note that with the completion of the Dangote Refinery, Nigeria has met 100% of gas needs because that refinery has a part of it that's designed to supply LPG to the Nigerian market and beyond.
Nigeria has unmatched reserves of gas from the Anambra basin in Anambra all the way down to the Niger-delta and the offshore region. You should be expecting to see contracts like this because The FG has declared this decade as the "Decade of Gas." This initiative has long been in the works since the administration of GEJ and successors after him. NNPC has been pioneering, supporting and making significant investment in too many gas initiatives like the OB3 pipeline, the AKK Pipeline for the northern region and the ANOH gas project being done by Shell, Seplat and NNPC in the Imo Basin.

Baba no jobs..... Some people don't have choice!

How can a wealthy country like Nigeria still be paying 30k as minimum wage?

That's less than $30 a month!

On top of that, they're still owing workers.

Isn't that wickedness?
That can never stand justification for blowing up pipelines that serves as the common wealth for Nigerians. If you have no job, that should tell you it's about time you re-skilled yourself this 2024

They aren't doing any significantly right! They are just benefitting from the proximity to Lagos state where the population that will consume thier goods are. Afterall, land for industries will be significantly cheaper in Ogun state than in Lagos state

But why you sound like you wanna cry now - u started this remember? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣

Yes, Somalis and Ethiopians are targeted for selling expired goods. Just last week kids died from eating their biscuits.

While Nigerians sell drugs, these ones sell deadly food. So locals want them out.
It's funny how you keep blaming other nationalities for selling crap products to you. You just blamed Somalians and Ethiopians for selling spoilt biscuits to your folks and turn around to blame Nigerians for selling drugs to your folks. Have you ever wondered why your folks keep buying them if they were bad? Or hasn't it crossed your minds then your fellow SAs could be the one selling these bad thing to your people? You guys love to blame others for your misfortune other than yourself. Wake up and take responsibility for yourselves

Its sad you couldn't think of a SINGLE successful major Nigerian company in SA😭 Its tragic for people we're supposed to be envying much.
Guy! Stop capping, they are several other Nigerian companies, acquiring business in your region other than Dnagote. They include: Flutterwave, Interswitch, Access Bank which acquired your Grobank in SA; UBA and a host of others. Nigeria may have her issues, but you are no match bro

I watched thier last game against real Madrid in the champions league
He didn't take the penalty

But is this not too emotional for him

A man is not supposed to be involving emotions in his doings

Napoli bleeped up by posting such on Tiktok but that is passed now

Osimhen should act like a man and step forward to always take the penalty instead of holding on to that grudge like an emotional woman on her period
Disregard the news, there's no indication where VO9 insisted he won't be taking penalties. This is basically Rudi Garcia's decision to take it off him for now pending when all the whole incidence dies down. He could resume his penalty duties in no time

I don't know why people buy awards to make themselves feel more important. It's a form of mental health issues they do not know. As a young man doing well in business, you are already an important personality. You have succeeded in a country where success is not easily achieved and you should be proud of yourself. You don't need to start patronizing roadside award vendors and merchants to make yourself feel important. You are already important. Keep working hard and developing. The most important awards you can have, are the lives that you touch while alive. Whoever knows the Elvis guy, should tell him.
It clearly shows esteem issues. Alexreports knows that very well. That’s why a fortune out of this.

Tinubu defeated them and scuttled their plans of taking over lagos and pushed back their agenda of dominating the Yorubas by 70 years. They hated him because he's the only one that has the capability of doing such.

They won't stop this hysteria and will never like him or any Yoruba person. There's this collectivity in purpose and written consensus from ibos to oppose any strong political leader from other regions by default.

Thus, Tinubu defeating Peter Gringory Obi is the end of their political relevancy, hence you understand the mass hysteria and hatred.

After Tinubu, power goes back to the north then back to south south and then back to the north and back to south west and back to the north. Like announcing lymphoma to a patient the dying days of political relevance of the ibos is in weeks.

They will never like Tinubu , they know that we know !
You yourself know that the your political calculations are bullshit. You think you are make Igbos politically irrevalent? Dream on!

The way this Odun Eweniyi is gradually being the face of piggy vest is impressive. The idea was by Somto ifezue who is the current CEO. He's so private that Odun is taking his shine. No one remembers Joshua or Somto when talking about Piggy vest when in fact they brought the idea and Odun Eweniyi was a co founder. Never ever be a private person. Google piggy vest and all you see is Odun Eweniyi. The other guys are hardly seen.
Honestly, I am even surprised myself. If you read the history of Piggvest, you'll know that Somto and Joshua are the brains behind Piggyvest, Eweniyi was later drafted in to join the team. All of them were class mates in the university back then. I guess Somto and Joshua have no qualms with Odun being the face of piggyvest. They both enjoy their private life.
