Hello prof, I know the question am about to ask is outside Cyprus but please, I will like to go for an undergraduate study in Tourism and hospitality management or something related, am 27, I really don't know where to start, can you assist or do you do admission to turkey? Secondly if yes what are the requirements for the field above, and I will prepare a relatively not to high tution fee government University that teach in English, thank you.

Since your signature and prior content indicate that you are the official university representative for universities in Cyprus, I believe the question you asked is for your prospective candidate.

Anyway, I represent Turkish universities, the cheapest of which costs 3800 dollars a year and requires similar admission documents as Cyprus universities.

Celebrating women scientists in the developing world

Their research is changing the world we live in, and they come from developing countries all around the world. The OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Award for Early Career Women Scientists in the Developing World was given to them.

Every industrialized country has taken advantage of research output to maximize its potential. Nowadays, education without research is pointless. Educative research produces great goods, solutions to society problems, and money. That is why the west is progressing and achieving higher standards.

Do you have a passion for scholarly research? More African females are encouraged to be involved in research.

Graduate students interested in working on water treatment, biofertilizers, solar cells, medication delivery, machine learning, nanoplex for cancer gene therapy etc are welcome to join my research team at EMU. Prof. Wip is one of Cyprus' top-rated research scientists.

Okay that’s what I will do as I am not vaccinated, thank you.

But one thing is, if you select YES on the adapass right, while filling the form you will get to a stage you will be asked for vaccine certificate number or code, if you say No.., and yes for PCR test and include pcr code... you won’t get the desired QR code And the confirmation page that will include your name and all information filled to print out as evidence. All you will get is a generic response that you can enter TRNC etc

You will get the code when you get vaccinated in cyprus after quarantine.
Travel / Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 1:44pm On Feb 08, 2022
olu101:

In addition, in the FAQ section I got this... I think that’s the reason for it not generating the QR code needed at the last stage for TRNC entrance. Cos one needs to upload the vaccinated certificate aswell as PCR

What do you think

If you are not vaccinated, pay the quarantine fee of 750 tl and travel with your valid PCR test result. Get proof of payment.

When you are coming to TRNC for the first on the adapass website, it ask you a question if you are visiting Cyprus, when you select YES, fill the entry form that’s enough together with the above.

Thank you very much. I appreciate!

My travel date is still on the 20th but my cousin whose travel date is less than 72hrs trying to sort his. He uploaded the PCR but check NO for the vaccine but it won’t generate the QR CODE.

However, we tried to put some random information on the form included a random PCR and vaccine code and it generated QR CODE.

Note: we use the Guvendel Kal website and not the app- it’s easier to use.

Please advice further

The instructions stated that app should be used not website kindly follow the instructions.

If you have not been vaccinated, you don’t need ada pass code. Adapass code is for those that have been vaccinated.

Fill the Guv app, pay the fee of 750 tl, get payment receipt, fill the adapass. Travel, show them bar code for the payment your tracking will need activated via the app upon arrival at Ercan airport in TRNC.

Good Morning Everyone, i trust you are well.

Please i do not know how to go about Adapass and Guvendel Kal.

Which do i fill first?

Do i need to be vaccinated before i travel? or Covid Test is enough?

Please advice me on Step by step to get this done.. Please!

Download the Guvendel Kal and follow the on screen steps on the app.

If you can be vaccinated before travel that’s fine otherwise you will need the PCR test results that is valid before arrival.

Thanks Prof,
My choice of study where i have my diploma is Occupational Therapy. I'm yet to see any other school apart from GAU that offers the course in English.
I will remain optimistic...

That program is not common in Cyprus. You may check Near East University as well.

Thank you very much Prof.
I want to use this opportunity to appreciate your selfless contribution here.

And yes, i have a diploma and a transcript. The school representative i'm chatting up on what's app is plainly telling me there's no way it can be done.
But sir, have you come across a student above 30 years admitted for an undergraduate course in Northern Cyprus?

Just hopeful...... Is there's anyother way you can help me out prof?

As I mentioned earlier, there is age limit that the ministry of education give for all universities regarding undergraduate applicants. I have not personally seen someone at 32 admitted into undergraduate program but I have known number students beyond the age limits admitted as a transfer undergraduate students due to their transcripts.

Note: the rule changes almost each year based on ministry policy. You may contact other universities as well.

Greetings Prof,
Please, I really need your help. If i could get your personal email, I will deeply appreciate.

I'm about to apply for a Bachelor's degree at GAU for this spring semester, But i'm 32 years old.
I chatted the school officials on whatsapp, they told me 30 years is the maximum age requirement for an undergraduate course.
Please Prof, Is there anyway you can help me out? I already had a diploma degree.

God Bless you Sir.

Most universities and ministry of education in Cyprus have age limits for undergraduate which generally is around 25-27 now.

So with 32 years, I think it will be harder to get in. However, if you have a diploma and transcript you may send to the university maybe they can look into that to support your application.

Hi Prof Wip, school resumes February 17 , when can new students start coming in?

Some students already started arriving since last week, which I think is too early.

If university starts 17th February, considering 14 days quarantine, it’s advisable to arrive end of January if accommodation is already sorted.

Hello house please when should one do the guvende Kal and the Ada pass. Is it to be done 72hrs before travelling or it can be done within 72hrs like 48hrs before travelling.
Thank you.

This can be done anytime before arrival is not time based. You only need to do it before you arrive North Cyprus. In most cases, before you leave your country as most airlines or immigration officials at exit port may want to ensure is done.

There is a new regulation with international payment of school fees through Nigerian banks. It is now done online through the Trade Monitoring System. Since December 2021, I don't think anyone has successfully paid through this portal. Nevertheless we hope to know the outcome as soon as bank resume full operations on 4th January,2022, which will be on Tuesday.

Oh, I see now.

However, if someone has their own USD or EUR, they can pay the institution directly without needing to use this new portal; I had paid more than 20,000$ using access bank just 7 days ago, and it arrived at the university in less than 48 hours.

Good evening. Please can a graduate of Human Resource Management apply for a lecturing job in the department of Business education?

Such person can always apply and let the selection team decide based on whatever criteria they have.

There’s no harm in applying!

Please I want to verify something here.

If you are doing Masters or PhD, it is expected that you publish your work before you progress to the next level.

Maybe you need to publish 1 journal to progress from proposal to first seminar.

I’m not familiar with the system or the levels you described. Publication is optional for a master's program, as far as I know. While in a PhD school where I studied overseas, you must have at least 1 or 2 reputable publications before you may graduate, not by level or seminar.

So, if you put your supervisor's name first and then your own name second, it means your supervisor is the author of the journal.

No. That isn't what it means at all! The authors of the published paper are all listed in the paper. However, the sequence of names is determined by the university and most organizations, with the first author being the primary author, followed by the second, and so on. It also matters who is the corresponding author. In a nutshell, all names in a published paper are the authors.

Will it still count as journal to progress to the next level?

Please those who are in the system should enlighten me.

While studying, any credible publications bearing your name are taken into account, regardless of the number of names in the article or the order in which they are listed. Several universities, on the other hand, prohibit two authors from using the same paper for the same purpose. For example, author A uses the same paper to graduate, and author B uses the same paper to graduate as well.

Best wishes!
