If I were in your shoe, which I hope not to be bkos I don't play two cards as regards relationship. I'll end things with this initial lady, my guy Love is beyond feelings, it's a more of a commitment and negotiations, give and take and meeting each other half way. I'm making this assumptions primary bkos I feel it's an emotional thing and not really based sound acceptance, most probably you're a rebound guy for her especially if she was dating during those years. A lot needs to considered though. More so, you're the final judge, you'll have to decide what's best for you.

It started this way..

There was this girl whom I liked so much 2 to 3 years ago. But she was forming hard to get and basically told me she only wanted a friendship even when I wanted something with her. (I believed she was in a relationship at the said time)

I waited patiently for her to change her mind but when it wasn't happening, I had to drop my feelings for her.

Recently, she started approaching me again but I didn't reciprocate at first because I had lost that affection. Moreover, I have already found a new girl whom I love.

Last week, this my old friend visited me to celebrate my birthday and stayed at my place for three days.

Though we didn't have sex (reasons best known to me) but we cuddled and did some nasty things..

She told me how much she misses me and would like to start a relationship with me.

Honestly, I started developing those old feelings again, especially when I saw the sacrifices she made for me.

But I don't want to hurt this new girl who loves me as well.

I have been thinking about this for days and really need your advice.

I have a friend like him. He talks about women all the time, brags about them like it's some sort of achievement.

There was a time we had a fall out and he told me that I cannot in my entire life sample 10% of the woman he has already sampled.

But aside this, he's a good friend, very useful so I called him one day and told him to stop talking about girls when we are together. It was difficult in the beginning but he stopped eventually.

OP, when people talk to us, we tend to pretend to be interested out of politeness. You've probably been doing this in order not to hurt his feelings, but that only keeps him going. There's really no point complaining on NL when you've not given the person any hint that you don’t want to hear his stories anymore. I, therefore, suggest you quickly change the topic whenever he's about to start his stories or just go mute and concentrate on something else. If he's not thoughtful enough to get the message, jokingly let him know you're done. A simple statement like "dude, please, don't even start with these your stories now" could be said with different degrees of seriousness. Start from the first degree (with laughter and mild interest) and gradually switch it up each time. I know you don't want to sound unnecessarily riled up, but trust me, he'll get the message long before it comes that.

Well, if you find it hard to actually tell him to stop, you could pretend to be hard at work on your laptop or something. When he comes with the rubbish gist don't give him much attention. In fact, always remind him that he should not disturb you while you work cos it will actually DUSTURB you. Do this consistently until he gets the message. Don't know if I made sense.

That's what I would do though.

Please, I have been thinking about this lately and don't know how to go about it.

I have this very loud neighbor who always likes staying in my room most of the times.

Well, I'm not complaining about that because I need company sometimes..

But what I really cannot put up with him is the fact that he likes flirting with numerous girls and always talk about them.

He can chat with a girl for a whole 8 hours and not get tired.

Even right now, as I type, he's in my room at this time (11:11 pm) and has been talking with a girl for over one hour.

And I get pissed off with that because it irritates me. Like he can come as early as possible in the morning to gist me about his latest hit.

I want to tell him to reduce his visits to my room since he doesn't have any sensible discussion asides from women.

But I don't know how to go about it, so I don't sound rude.

Please guys, how do I go about this?
