Well, they must manage their expectations before next week na, not managing ones expectation is the beginning of heart attack.

A very optimistic projection for GEJ: If 14mil out of 15mil voters come out to vote in ss+ se, and 20 mil of 24 million come out to vote in nw + ne .

SS + SE (GEJ 12million GMB 2million) NW +NE ( GEJ 5million GMB 15 million. ) That would be a tie. from the 4 regions.

The SW + NC will break the tie.
The only possible way GEJ can win this coming elections is via massive rigging, but alas the Card readers will mitigate that.

Word on the streets is that voter turnout in his SS and SE bases are a serious source of concern for the PDP.

Let's not kid ourselves, only via massive rigging can he come out tops, which ain't happening.

Like I said, this has always been the postulation for Mr Buhari since 2003... He can't sweep the NE, He will fall yakata in SW. he will lose some votes in NW, but he will be crushed in SE and SS.

You have to win to form a government, and Jonathan is losing this election - it's been signed, sealed and deliver. GMB will form a Gov't of national unity that will begin to unite the nation after years of GEJ's brand of divisive politics.

there are 4 regions i am expectant of the result.

I am so sure that once the margin of lead of GEJ over GMB from SS +SE is not more than the margin of GMB lead over GEJ in NW + NE. GEJ has lost !.

SS+ SE = 15.1 million NW +NE -= 24.1 million.
Bro, you didn't have to break it down like that, you go give some people heart-attack.

According to you, Mr Buhari will win the Entire North? This is the mistake Buharis always make since 2003.

This time, the defeat will be epic.

He will win the total votes cast in NW and NE, that combined with at least 60% from the SW is more than adequate to win him the Presidency. You will live to witness it, and heaven will not fall. cheesy

Politics › PDP Group Faults INEC On Card Reader, Incident Form - Guardian by WisdomFlakes(op): 9:40am On Mar 21, 2015
PEOPLE’S Democratic Party (PDP) advocacy group, PDP Integrity Vanguard, yesterday raised the alarm over the confusion that might arise from the use of card reader during the general elections.

A press statement issued by the group’s co-ordinator and pioneer publicity scribe of the PDP, Aniete Okon, said INEC’s insistence on using the card reader ‎was‎ “ a resolve to unduly disenfranchise Nigerians.”

The group said the plan to use the card reader to pose some basic questions that were yet to be answered by INEC. According to the group, the introduction of “Incident Form” to compliment the card reader has even created more doubts in the minds of the public regarding the preparedness of INEC.

“The latest attempt has manifested itself through the Commission’s introduction of Incident Form into the voter accreditation process as a palliative in a situation where the Smart Card Reader fails to authenticate a prospective voter. Upon filling the Incident Form, the voter is ‘accredited’ to vote.

“A corollary to the above scenario is that fundamental questions are raised, the following being a few of them: At what point is accreditation deemed to be complete? In other words, is a person deemed to have been properly accredited if accreditation is done on the basis of an Incident Form?

“Does the Card Reader possess the capacity to capture and/or transmit information relating to the use of Incident Form, e.g the number of persons accredited by the use of the form vis-a-vis the total number of accredited persons?

“Is the Card Reader capable of automatically generating a warrant that will become the basis for issuance of the Incident Form?

“If the answer to three above is in the negative, how can a nexus be established between the Card Reader and the Incident Form?”

The statement further argued that the confusion that would arise from the use of the card reader and Incident Form would mar the electoral process.

“Again, there is the issue of integrity of the Incident Form itself. Is it classified as a sensitive INEC document possessing those embedded security features that will distinguish an authentic one from a counterfeit? Our organization insists that if this is not the case, then the entire accreditation process is a premeditated exercise in futility.

“The leadership of this organization wants to be on record as saying that all evidence point to the fact that the so-called Incident Form is designed to achieve two fraudulent objectives:

“To disenfranchise those that INEC wants disenfranchised;

“To enfranchise others who are legally precluded from voting – all in a rabid attempt to secure victory for the All Progressive Congress.”

Politics › PDP Has Tacitly Accepted Defeat - Opinion by WisdomFlakes(op): 8:08am On Mar 21, 2015
Barring any last-minute rigging exploits by the ruling party PDP, I think it's abundantly clear that they lack the requisite numbers/metrics to win the upcoming Presidential poll, hence their last-minute scramble to engage the services of questionable pollsters to boost the battered morale of their ardent followers.

Now, I am of the opinion that the PDP does not expect to win the upcoming Presidential election for the following reasons:

(1) The PDP has done everything possible to promote the sack, and discredit the person, of Prof. Jega as a biased umpire.

(2) The PDP has been clear about its opposition to the use of PVCs for the upcoming elections

(3) The PDP has been clear about its opposition to the use of Card Readers as authenticators in the upcoming elections.

In light of the aforementioned, I find it rather ..curious(?) that the same party with such GRAVE reservations about the credibility of INEC can paradoxically boast of winning the upcoming Presidential poll. huh I see this as a clever attempt to cover their bases in the likely eventuality of an impending loss.

I hereby postulate that the ruling PDP knows it will likely lose the upcoming Presidential election and is preparing to contest its unfavourable outcome by citing the earlier stated reservations as grounds for the rejection of the results.

Here I stand. smiley

Politics › Re: Buhari’s Desperation Is Bothersome! by WisdomFlakes: 7:03am On Mar 21, 2015
Nigerians have tasted six years of Jonathan's 'fresh air' and it stinks. If he has performed so well he wouldn't be having a herculean task seeking re-election or resorting to bribery to seek votes from ordinary Nigerians.

He has to accept responsibility for mismanaging our economy, for failure of leadership in tackling boko haram and the resulting massacre of Nigerians, chibok girls international scandal, worsening electricity generation problems, unprecedented corruption, etc.

This election isn't about Buhari's desperation but rather Jonathan's abysmal leadership failures. In the end he'll have no one but himself to blame for his impending loss at the polls.
