Arewa Youth Council has thrown its weight behind the presidential ambition of former Vice President ,Atiku Abubakar. According to one of its leaders, Auwal Jubril, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar would make far better president than President Muhammadu Buhari. unlike Buhari who has never ran a business of his own except cattle rearing.

According to him, the recession that Nigeria went into few months after President Buhari came to power was simply because he lacked intellectual savvy to run a country. He said it is because of this that it took him six months to appoint ministers and till date has not appointed board of departments, agencies and parastatals.


"To be honest with you, with regard to running a country like Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a world apart from Buhari. Bringing somebody like Buhari to national politics is not only a mistake but also a dis-service to the country because he is best fittest as a provincial leaders, a cult hero for the almajiris.

He is a recluse and that is why he confessed that he did not even know some of those he appointed ministers. An incompetent person was brought to rule us. It is after weighing him and Alhaji Abubakar that we come to the conclusion that the former Vice President would be a far better president because he is everything that Buhari is not.

He is an entrepreneur. He is open minded. He has friends and businesses across the country and he is not a religious bigot like Buhari So, with Atiku in power, he would be a president for the whole country unlike Buhari who is president of the Fulanis.
