@ladyroyalhighness,I totally agree with u,the rigging was too much.I wished the election was free and fair. For ur information,if the finger prints on the ballot papers used in akwa ibom state election will be analysed via forensic test, den u will knw dat there was crios thumbprinting of ballot papers in this election.Dnt tink Nigeria has grown to that level of using such machines to compare ur finger prints on the card readers and ballot papers.Let c hw the investigation will go LaRoyalHighness: Wishing you guys luck..... Funny enough I don't care much about the appeal because I have lost hope in our judicial system....neither am I an apc member.... I only reported what I saw ... "THE RIGGING WAS TOO MUCH.". Thanks for the advice... Duely noted and taken. Salut! |

Samchelsea, how can u say dat cows voted in kano? Are u in akwa ibom to knw wat happened during elections? Hav u seen the gubernatorial election results in other states, the margins used to win the results? Even though pdp could hav win the election in akwa ibom state, they shoudn't have resorted to rigging and shooting.I lost a friend and also ran away cos of gun shots. So know what u r saying.we demanding for a free and fair election. Samchelsea: whenever PDP wins it was rigged, maybe you forget that even cows voted for the APC in kano during the presidential election..lol |

This country is in a mess. How can an opposition party can't get up to 35percent votes in a state compared to other state? Do the Inec commissioner in Akwa Ibom want to tell me that Bishop Sam Akpan who is a brotherhood member can't get up to 50k votes eventhough brotherhood memebers in akwa ibom r more dan 100k? Why will Godswill Akpabio mortgaged the future of akwa ibomites? Simple analysis of results accross nigeria will show u dat it is only Akwa Ibom results u will c an opponents being beaten with this wide margin which is not logical @ all. |

Nsy,u don't understand my oint.I voted for pdp in my unit, but the idea of the councillor in my polling unit coming with thugs and police shooting sporadically and carting away ballot papers calls for a rethink on our electoral process.I just lost a friend via stray bullet and it hurts.PDP rigged uyo elections today nsyforreal: if things go apc way,the elections are okay but if not it is not okay.why cant they learn from jonathans pdp.if all candidates even buhari can take a cue from our president, then the whole country will be beter for it.how on earth will apc think they can win in akwa ibom state. |

Zicoraads, very soon truth will unveil itself. If u ask anyone walking on the street of the state capital,u will be shocked to hear that the elections were rigged.I was so shocked to my bone marrow when the councillor of my ward came with thugs shooting and carting away election materials. Is the councillor not a pdp member? zicoraads: My question still remains...did they have tags on their foreheads bearing PDP?
Haba! Let us be truthful to ourselves. In all honesty, do you see APC winning in Akwa Ibom? And how can someone who is certain to win be instigating violence? To what end? If there is any violence in any party's stronghold, isn't it logical that the fingers should be pointed at the opposition?
Why do we always ascribe violence to the PDP alone? Are those in the APC heavenly beings? Was Umana Umana not a PDP man just some few months back?
And to answer your question, I am not from Uyo. I would be happy if you also provide answers to the ones I raised above. |

Nsy,y r u saying wat u don't know? Am in uyo,I voted for pdp but didn't like wat pdp did @ my unit and a unit close by.y will they come and shoot and cart away ballot papers, they suppose to allow us here the results of our units before the snatched all the ballot papers and boxes @ gun point. nsyforreal: if they conduct elections one million times, pdp will win .how can apc think they will win election in akwa ibom state.sai buhari not in your dream. |

Heard about this,it is very unfortunate that this is happening in uyo, learnt it's the same thing in some areas in uyo, mkpat enin, etc.Hope ,INEC will not announce that elections were done there. Okonikott: Ward 1 Units 12A and 12B, Uyo urban, (Aka primary school), Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria - no election was held in this ward today. Reason: INEC's ad hoc staff (youth corpers) came without ballot papers, claiming the ballot papers will surface after accreditation. Voters became suspicious at this point and demanded that no accreditation will take place until ballot papers are brought to the polling unit for the process to commence. They argued it was wrong and suspicious for ad hoc staff to have come with card readers and other election materials, but left ballot papers in the hands of riggers, meaning that once accreditation was over and the number of accredited voters determined, it would be possible for the accredited figure to be sent via SMS to a third force outside the polling units, who will then thumb-print an equal number of ballot papers, based on a skewed sharing formula to favour the ruling party and taken to INEC office as the official result. They claimed it happened before in 2011, once bitten, twice shy. Some minutes past 3pm, three hours b4 election ought to end at 6pm, some 'INEC staff' (I can't swear they were INEC staff), leisurely drove in in a commercial bus to begin accredition. They were bluntly rebuffed and told to drop the idea because it was too late in the day. Ward 1 Units 12A and 12B, Uyo urban has about 4000 voters - the largest concentration of voters in one ward in Uyo capital city. This ward decides the direction any election in Uyo swings because of her numerical strength. Voters in this ward are always suspicious of any clandestine design to cheat them. They'd rather prefer a free contest where every voter is allowed to vote and the results announed. It should be noted that this ward is a few meters from INEC hdqtrs. It is for this vantage reason people are saying the ward ought to have been supplied complete voting materials on time, not at 3pm. Summary: no election was held in Ward 1, Units 12F and B today. |

Wow @ acidtalk, where hav u been hiding, been long since hv seen ur comments via NL.gud to hav u bk acidtalk: The problem with Nigerians and black people as a whole is that they are damn too secretive and never willing to help or share beneficial information.
The average black man feels by sharing his success details, he will go hungry.
OP, BE STRAIGHT FORWARD AND STOP GIVING HALF BAKED DETAILS. Bear in mind I don't need your details as I am employer of labour and not the other way. But for the benefit of those in your shoes.
Tell them facts and how they can help themselves instead of flipflap stories they can't make use of. |
