Why Do People Refuse to Believe in Witchcraft?

I am often confused as to why many people do not believe in the existence of witches. Whenever the topic comes up especially when someone mentions that witches use animals like rats or wall geckos to attack their victims people quickly dismiss it and say, “How can you still believe such things in this modern age?” That reaction leaves me puzzled. Is it because they have not experienced it themselves? Or are they simply ignorant of such realities?

I have personally witnessed signs of witchcraft. I have seen mysterious marks drawn on the bodies of people close to me, even though they lived in very clean and orderly environments. I have heard strange crying sounds from baby bush animals at night, followed by someone in the area dying the next morning. I recall a specific night when a baby bush cried and hovered around a compound and by morning, a young man died.
Why do people still insist this is all a lie?
When I was a student in one of the most prestigious school in the South-East, there was a place called Ezi Icheke in Abagana, located in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State. There was a well-known case where a man who had already died was seen selling food (Restaurant). This is not a made-up story; the shop existed, and so did the accounts of people who saw him. When someone called out to him, he reportedly disappeared. Everyone who had been buying from the shop ran away. For years, nobody dared to go near that shop again.

The truth is that witches and spiritual forces do exist. And there are solutions to these forces—either through traditional means or through spiritual methods in the church.

Israeli stocks hit record highs following America’s Operation Midnight Hammer on Iran


Israeli stocks rose for a sixth session on Sunday to hit fresh all-time highs after U.S attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites, which investors believe would likely prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons anytime soon.


The broad Tel Aviv 125 index was 1.3% higher, while the blue-chip TA-35 was 1.2% higher in afternoon trading.

On the heels of Israeli strikes in Iran, shares rose during all five sessions last week, gaining some 6%, as Israel hit Iranian nuclear and military targets prior to Saturday’s surprise U.S. attacks.



“The destruction of Iran’s key nuclear facilities by the U.S. military is, of course, a positive development … in terms of improving the regional security environment and reducing Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities,” said Mizrahi Tefahot chief markets economist Ronen Menachem. “It’s a game-changer.”

Israel began its punishing attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories and military commanders on June 13, which have been met with retaliatory Iranian strikes against Israel. U.S. President Donald Trump said he had “obliterated” Iran’s main nuclear sites in strikes overnight with massive bunker busting bombs, joining an Israeli assault in a significant new escalation of conflict in the Middle East.

Tehran vowed to defend itself, and responded with a volley of missiles at Israel that wounded scores of people and destroyed buildings in Tel Aviv on Sunday. Still, for more than a week, local markets have cheered Israel’s actions in Iran. In addition to gains in shares, government bond prices have risen, the shekel has appreciated and Israel’s risk premium has edged lower.

Bond prices were up as much as 0.2% on Sunday. The shekel does not trade on Sunday but it has rallied from 3.61 per dollar on June 11 to 3.48 on Friday and is up some 1% this month.

“Looking at the medium- to long-term — which is relevant for many strategic investors — this could represent a genuine opportunity, possibly related to the prospect of closer ties between the Saudi and American axis,” Menachem said.

US president warns Iran that it must now ‘make peace’ or face future US attacks.


US President Donald Trump delivers an address to the nation alongside Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at the White House in Washington, DC after announcing the “very successful” US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, United States President Donald Trump addressed the nation.

Here is the full transcript of his speech on Saturday evening:

Everybody heard those names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise. Our objective was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world’s number one state sponsor of terror.

Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace.

If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.


For 40 years, Iran has been saying, “Death to America, death to Israel”.

They have been killing our people, blowing off their arms, blowing off their legs with roadside bombs – that was their speciality.

We lost over a thousand people, and hundreds of thousands throughout the Middle East and around the world have died as a direct result of their hate, in particular, so many were killed by their general, Qassem Soleimani.

I decided a long time ago that I would not let this happen.

It will not continue.

I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.

We worked as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before, and we’ve gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel.

I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they’ve done and, most importantly, I want to congratulate the great American patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight, and all of the United States military on an operation the likes of which the world has not seen in many, many decades.

Hopefully, we will no longer need their services in this capacity. I hope that’s so. I also want to congratulate the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan “Razin” Caine – spectacular general – and all of the brilliant military minds involved in this attack.

With all of that being said, this cannot continue.

There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.

Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight’s was the most difficult of them all by far, and perhaps the most lethal, but if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes.

There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close. There has never been a military that could do what took place just a little while ago.

Tomorrow, General Caine, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, will have a press conference at 8am (12:00 GMT) at the Pentagon, and I want to just thank everybody, and in particular, God.

I want to just say, “We love you, God, and we love our great military. Protect them.” God bless the Middle East. God bless Israel, and God bless America.

US has struck three Iranian nuclear sites, Trump says
President Donald Trump said Saturday that the US military struck three sites in Iran, directly joining Israel ’s effort to destroy the country’s nuclear program in a risky gambit to weaken a longtime foe amid Tehran’s threat of reprisals that could spark a wider regional conflict.

The decision to directly involve the US comes after more than a week of strikes by Israel on Iran that have moved to systematically eradicate the country’s air defences and offensive missile capabilities, while damaging its nuclear enrichment facilities. But US and Israeli officials have said that American stealth bombers and a 30,000-lb. bunker buster bomb they alone can carry offered the best chance of destroying heavily-fortified sites connected to the Iranian nuclear program buried deep underground.

We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”

The strikes are a perilous decision for the US as Iran has pledged to retaliate if it joined the Israeli assault, and for Trump personally, having won the White House on the promise of keeping America out of costly foreign conflicts and scoffed at the value of American interventionism.
