Hunger has no political party, ethnicity or religion. The earlier Nigerians know that the better. Despite her political party, hunger didn't mind but to chase her out of her house to hustle for rice.

The greatest problem of the northern Nigerian population is ignorance. If they know that election is a serious business, they will not be putting religion and ethnicity into consideration during voting. They will look at track records and competence. Now the north is suffering more than other regions. Meanwhile they are the ones using underage to rig election for incompetent old men and woman..

My story may be long but pls endeavor to read to the end so that you can make proper suggestions or advice.

I have been married for more than 10yrs now with beautiful kids, my marriage is one that many Young guy will wish to have, but along the the line I don't know what happened things begin to nose dive. In the last 6yrs I discovered that I struggle to make love to my wife, she will either tell you ohh, she is tire or she don't like sex much..this I have endured for all this years with no cheating.
Her qualities are
She can cook
She can keep the house clean
She can manage resources
And she is accommodating to my people
In all this years I have never cheated on her, proudly saying it coz my dad warned me of cheating on my wife rather I should divorce her and go for another wife.

My qualities are
I work and earn like about 700k net a month.
I give feeding allowance and personal total of 100k a month while I invest the rest on a project which she is aware of.
I don't drink or smoke
I don't keep late night
and I am the best friend to her and my kids.
Honestly having talk to her for over 5yrs on this issues of love making and she refused to change, then I have decided to yield to my dad advice and ask her to leave...she is not aware of this plan, but trust me it will hit her.
I allow her to do little job to have her own finance is not as if she contribute anything in the house, but she is claiming stubborn, I love her so much, it will hurt me to cheat on her, something I have not done since I got married to her.
I plan moving to a new place in February, and she doesn't fit into my plans.

My decision between now and December is
1 Avoid asking her for lobe making
2 Continue taking care of her so she won't suspect anything
3 when she comes close I avoid her.
4 February I issues divorce papers and give her like 1m to go get her life back

Is there anything more I can do for her?

I wouldn't advice you to divorce her. I will only tell you to keep talking to her. Besides how are you going to be sure that the new wife you will marry will not be worst? Have you thought about the effect of divorce on your beautiful kids? Anyway, I pray God solve interfere in your situation. I love the fact that you are hard working. Please if you don't mind, can you give me a link or any kind of help. I need to also be a full man. To be able to take care of my family. You know lack of money yab man.

Those complications took a lot of strength from her and finance from me and she spent some days in the hospital before she finally gave birth in the wee hours of this morning to the glory of God.Mother and baby in good health.

There are a fair qualified number of people in MDAs too, and they can bring in experts or consultants where need be
The while issue of efficiency and productivity is far deeper than that!

Only a handful of them know what they are doing. Majority of them are just there to receive salary at the end of the month. So many of them don't even go to work.

Looking at this thread, it made me thinking of something and ask the question?
Had this been the norm since the eighties or 90's? Or it became a standardised norm in the 2000s with Obasanjo's democracy coming

This has been going on for a long time. That is why many qualified graduates from modest family are not gainfully employed. They just can't have the opportunity to contribute their intelligence to the society on a national level.

As a masters degree holder with experience in hospitality and other industry, if I manage to get job in a government agency related to my field of study, I believe that the agency will turn around within a short time. But how on earth will I get that kind of opportunity when I don't have a God-father or mother?

The truth is that this is the exact truth about federal character commsion and IPPS. I was suppose to be lecturing in one of the university in Nigeria as graduate assistant but because I couldn't pay the sum of 300, 000naira. That job eluded me. This is exactly why the country remains undeveloped and backward.
The country we live in is in a big mess. The poor who have worked so hard and deserve to be given the opportunity to contribute their own quarter to national development don't because they don't have the money to bribe their way.

I think the word passion is abstract especially in a third world country like ours engrossed in poverty.

It's hard for someone who's poor to search within them looking for passion.

At this stage people have very low IQs. There's a reason why poor countries are hardly innovative.

You have to fight poverty first. Instead of passion, what I'd say is discipline and commitment.

Just pick up something and devote time, no matter how little, for it.

M y dear you have just said it all. The stage of passion is mostly at a younger age. Once responsibility start coming eh, the focus will now be stomach.
