esdajo:
The number to call is +442038754669 or +443007906268.

Been trying this numbers since yesterday, with Nigerian lines and Skype as well, I have not been able to speak to anyone.
Please any tips on how to get across to someone
Thanks

Good morning everyone
Happy New month
Please if you booked an appointment on the TLS website but now want to do walk in for an earlier date, do you go at your initial appointment time say 2pm or you can go for the walk in anytime?
Thanks everyone

Please a follow up from this answer.
So if my family does their biometrics before me, would it affect the decision for my children?
Can I request for a priority decision on my dependant visa application even though the main applicant does a standard?

Thanks so much for taking time to answer our questions.
God bless you real good
giselle237:
how do u intend to do biometrics without a passport?? Like how? Wait for the outcome of your application + return of your ppt or withdraw your application totally and wait for the ppt to be returned to you then reapply for the next visa.
It is not same application, not same visa fees, not same category and not same requiremnts..

Guess I was just hoping there was a way to fast track the dependant visa.

Hello everyone
Please urgent help needed.
I applied for a visit visa and did my biometrics on the 10th of September Abuja TLS.
Now my partner just got his COS which we had been waiting for for awhile now ( I went ahead to apply for visit visa because I had a conference to attend and we were not sure when the COS would be issued)
So the issue is we would all like to travel together. My passport is not out, no decision mail received yet. We have applied and paid for visa for the whole family, main applicant and dependants. Biometrics is Thursday this week.
Can we call ukvi about my passport with them informing them about my new application for a dependent visa now or do I wait for the passport to be released ( only God knows when). My partner has to resume in a month time and my conference is also starting on the 1st of November.
Urgent advice is needed please!!!!
Thanks so much

Hello justwise, hello everyone
Please can you give me some insight on my situation
I applied for a standard visit visa on the 5th of December
Went for biometrics in Abuja on the 11th
Received by DMC on the 15th
No mail from them till today- day 17th workinday day
Called ukvi today and I was told no decision has been made yet and the case would be escalated, I would have to wait another 15 days.

Any idea what could be going on? I know someone that did biometrics with me on the same day same venue that has received his visa,
Should I be worried
I had planned to travel by the end of this month

I finally got my passport back today with visa granted.
Guess not every application is processed within the 15 days window now...probably because of COVID-19.
Thanks everyone on this thread. Reading some of the comments gave me hope.

Technology Market / Re: Is NIPOST Deliberately Withholding Phones Ordered From Aliexpress? by Workingmama: 7:03pm On Sep 20, 2020
Valentinooo:
On the 7th of March, I ordered a phone which was shipped on the 18th of March. Ever since then, nothing has been heard of it.
The memory card I intended to use with the phone was ordered two days later, and that one has since arrived.

From the lamentations on the aliexpress thread, I noticed a lot of people are also in my situation.
They bought phones which refused to deliver whereas the accessories they ordered days after ordering the phone got delivered.

This lead to the assumption that nipost staffs are deliberately holding on to these phones for reasons best known to them.

I don't want to believe these phones are being stolen by those that are meant to deliver them to us.

Why will I buy a phone with my hard earned money only for it to be stolen by people who are meant to deliver the phone?

This is corporate robbery and should be condemned.

How will a phone come all the way from China without missing only for it to get to Nigeria and get missing?

I have to create this new thread to make our plight known to the whole world.

I have also tagged those who are having this same issue.

Thanks for opening this thread.
Mine is a headphone (Anker)
Ordered 20th of May, shipped the following day.
I have been to the Post office several times ..... nothing
I asked seller to extend purchase protection, still it didn't come.
Eventually purchase protection ended and I opened dispute, guess maybe because I didn't provide enough evidence , I wasn't refunded.
I went to the post office last Monday, made a lot of noise i was connected to the regional head, who tracked the package and said it was not found that I should be patient.
This is 2nd item this covid period that I was refunded for. The first was hair.
Something really needs to be done.
I have been on twitter, nipost handle, but nobody responds to the numerous complaints I see there.
This has to stop.
I am going to send a link of this page to the regional head l spoke with last Monday.
Let's keep complaining , hopefully this would stop and Nigeria won't be blacklisted on Aliexpress.
