People will definitely argue this fact, but IMO and from experience a forum is more profitable if you put in the work. User-generated content provides steady fresh content for search engines to index and it's been proven Google loves a regularly updated site thus more organic traffic and high ranking in search results which significantly increases earnings. This is just one of the many reasons I can give as why a forum is better to invest your time on. The only downside is that forums need more work than blogs.

That forum is as old as Nairaland if I remember correctly. I know that forum since way back 2009 or so yet the forum hasn't improved much. The owner is meant to be cashing out big now if he did his homework devotedly. With hardwork, the older a blog or forum gets, the more profitable it should also become.

Linda Ikeji needs a brand manager. Many Nigerian businesses are carelessly leaving a lot of money on the table for cyber-squatters. She's too busy to keep checking for people using her trademark for profit. Enough said, whoever owns the .com.ng version of Linda's business won't be keeping it for a long time because I'm sure Linda is strong enough to take it legally or 'ransomely'.
