⚡Russian Investigative Committee Declares Over 700 Mercenaries Fighting in Ukraine Wanted

In Donetsk, the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, chaired a meeting where it was announced that the investigation into recruitment and mercenarism is ongoing.

In a statement, the committee said, "Several citizens from the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, and Romania have been charged in absentia under Article 359, Part 3 of the Russian Criminal Code.

Over 700 foreigners are wanted. The head of the Investigative Committee has been briefed on cases involving Georgian citizens Lasha Rukhaia, Levon Ayrapetyan, and Erekle Amirana shvili, who participated as mercenaries on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of the 'Georgian National Legion' for remuneration."

⚡If states create a multipolar world in which they help each other, social issues will be solved more easily, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Our common task is to make sure that all people have equal conditions. This is a difficult task, but I think, I am even convinced that if we create this multipolar world, in which we not only depend on each other, but also help each other, then social issues, including education and health care, will be solved more easily, they will be solved more effectively," Putin declared at the closing ceremony of the World Youth Festival.

He added that by combining efforts, it is possible to achieve better results.

Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali have agreed to set up a joint force to tackle security threats across their territories, Niger's armed forces chief Moussa Salaou Barmou said on Wednesday after a meeting with his counterparts.

Barmou said the new task force would be "operational as soon as possible to meet the security challenges," but did not give further details on the size or remit of the force.

⚡Moldova announced earlier today its Withdrawal from the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) a Cold War-Era Agreement by many Nations in NATO and the Warsaw Pact as well as the United States and Russia to Limit the amount of Conventional Military Weaponry in Europe.

Russia had already Withdrawn from the Treaty in November of 2023 followed by the United States and most of NATO.

Gagauzia is an autonomous region in the south of Moldova that has traditionally advocated rapprochement with Russia, while Chisinau has declared a course toward European integration.

⚡Chinese H-6K bombers recently launched demonstrative flights in the Yellow Sea to the shores of South Korea.

This was prompted by the Freedom Shield exercise that has begun jointly with the US Armed Forces, covering not only Korean territory, but also the adjacent waters of the two seas, as well as international waters.

According to the training plan, the US and South Korean servicemen are practicing the creation of a unified force to fight the advancing enemy, which is both the North Korea and China.
