superstar1: Y1bos and their dubious character.
Someone should please ask them why they are discounting Lagos figure. Is it part of gully eroded land of alaigbo?
I heard they have started calling PH one very funny igbotic name --igweocha.
Gradually they are turning PH to no man's land. They failed in Lagos, kano and akure - with their no man's land slogan.
If they succeed in PH, that is the business of the ethnicities in PH and SS. Be warned SS. My friends from rivers state are beginning to frown at the igbos and they do ask how do we handle relationship with them? |

Kennydoc: The SE has 5 states while SW has 6 states including Lagos. 5 of the SW states are the typical Yoruba states while Lagos is a former federal capital city. Take a moment and recalculate the cumulative IGR of the 5 typical Yoruba states and compare it to the cumulative IGR of the 5 SE states. Guy, despite all the noise, Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Ondo and Ekiti altogether produced a measly 57 billion naira in 2014. Wherein lies all your boasts? Bros, igbo land mass cannot produce beyond your current 5 states. |

ABEngine: I see the foot prints of the igbo merchants in Lagos, Kano and Kaduna. Let's even look at Ondo which is heated with south-western nepotism at the moment and fiery hate for the igbos.
I would kindly suggest we have a rethink if we must survive this union called Nigeria. Someone rightly noted the poor spate of the Northern contribution to our purse and yet they yearn for a centralised government even with the endowment of solid minerals. Is the case to deplete the south and enrich the North?
I swear Gowon knew exactly what would become of the contraption, Nigeria if they had let go, his current statement "With Biafra, it is finished!" would not have revealed any better why he exerted extreme efforts to destroy the Biafran struggle.
I think at this point the Nigerian agenda should be pacifying the igbos to remain in Nigeria through whatever means. Stupid statement If u want to leave lagos and increase your village revenue, kindly do ASAP. U guys are not the only one in lagos. Silly tribal bigot. #Say NO to tribalism# |

manie: This type of thread should not be brought to the front page, because of the quality of comments one will get on this type of topic. This ought to be left in the investment section where indepth analyses and comments will be made on the subject matter. The problem with Oando started more than 5 years ago, and it is caused by the greed, recklessness, corporate governance issues, high debt, mismanagement and over-ambition by Wale and his gang. Nigeria as a country has big problem in terms of management. If you noticed most companies that is indigenous, the problem looms like disease. So I wasn't surprise when I saw the news of oando misfortunes. |

sukkot: you are lying. your leaders are a symptom of the people. your states are the least developed but your leaders are the richest. orji kalu for example is one of the richest men in the world but abia state is one of the most wretched. so you cannot tell me igbos help their brothers. thats a big lie. in terms of those who are most likely to help their brothers, all tribes in nigeria fail. the point is that THE BLACK MAN as a whole likes to oppress his fellow blacks. it matters not if the black man is igbo or yoruba or hausa. they all have the same traits Well said bro. Generally speaking black man is selfish and brainwashed with money mentality. I heard of an igbo man who killed his brother to inherit his business, I heard of yourba brothers back biting each other, etc. So saying igbo or one tribe is more generous is tale by moonlight. |

Bobbystanley: That's the heart of an igbo man.
Even when some people claim to have the richest Nigerians, they still wallow in Poverty and live in Brown roof republic. They wealth of their kinsmen have no impact in their lives.
Chukwu Gozie Godwin Nwa Maduka. With this mentality of yours, I don't think you can lead a team with diverse culture. Remember anybody can be generous and show empathy to his people. We have such people like the man mentioned in the article at south west, south south and northern regions. My question is with the little you have, how many lives have u impacted? |
