I think before you get something like this, it'll be from some philanthropist or so. Nigeria doesn't really have companies or people that randomly give out laptops like that. I did come across some article about free laptops in Nigeria, so see it for some other options.
AutosRe: What Does “first Body” Mean? Please Someone Explain by WriteArticleAga: 3:34pm On Apr 21, 2024
The answers above are correct. Just want to add that there's always that fear that second body cars in Nigeria were worked by bad craftsmen who have terribly devalued it. Just get the repair receipt from the seller, and use that to determine if the bodyshop that did the job is a reliable one. Meanwhile, I found one post that describes what 'baked on first body' means—it's a related concept you should check out.

I know a lot of people are going to jump on this thread and say you can't get a car below or around 300k
You can. It could be pre 2000s but you can still see early 2000s car at this rate. Forget those online deals, middlemen hike the price so you barely see cheap deals. Look offline and ask around. Trust me, it'll surprise you that word of mouth spreading around can actually fetch you multiple deals for cars below 300k from original sellers, not dealers or agents.

SportsHow To Play Football In Europe by WriteArticleAga(op): 8:32am On Jan 19, 2024
I'm going to show you the steps to join a club in Europe, the back and forth, and the whole process. Before we get into it, this is definitely not the best way to get a trial in Europe. This is just one of the ways. Having a reliable agent or connection will make this whole process easier. But if you don't have any connections, if you don't have anything, this method is still a way to make something happen, but it's also very difficult. It takes a lot of time, you'll get rejected. But if you keep going, you'll have a chance of getting something positive.

After getting ignored or rejected most of the time, I got one positive response back from a third division team in Austria. And this is how it went.

One common theme is when you're writing up your messages, you want to make yourself seem as high level as possible. So at the time, I was playing in League One Ontario, which is considered a semi-pro league here in Canada. But the reality is no one in Europe knows what that league is. So instead, I said, 'Currently playing in Canada League One Football.' I still had League One in there, but the way I phrased it, it sounds a lot more high level. When you send out these messages, it's all about how you market yourself. Regardless of whatever experience you have, you should always try and boost it. You should try and make it sound as great as possible.

With your email, don't say, 'I'm looking for a new club, and your club has interested me for a long time.' That line is all about you. Instead, you should make it about them. So I would probably say something along the lines of, 'My contract here is coming to an end. I'm looking to take my career to Europe, and I believe I can be a great asset or benefit to your team for the upcoming season.' That way, it's about them, and you're coming from a place of value.

Also, instead of saying, 'Let me know if the club is interested in me,' I would instead ask a question, and it would be something like, 'What's the current roster situation like?' When you say, 'Let me know if the club is interested in me,' that's an easy that can turn into an easy no. But when you ask him an open-ended question about his team, that may get him quickly thinking about his team situation and how he could potentially benefit from you. So it just gets him thinking a little bit more, and if he does end up replying, you have something to work off of based on what his answer was to that question.

Final tip is keep it short and simple, but to the point. And also, don't copy this. Get creative with things and find a way to be unique when you're sending out these emails. Also, you can't see it here, but I had my CV and highlight video included in the email. So make sure you do that as well.

This here was his reply. He liked what he saw. He asked me when I'll be in the country, and he hinted at a possible trial. This was my reply back to him. I said, 'My contract here in Canada will end in two months.' I didn't really have a contract. I was actually in the middle of a university semester, and the exams were in two months. I couldn't leave the city before I was done those exams. So at the time, I thought this was a good response to stall and create some time before I could actually fly to the country.

After that, we went back and forth a couple of times, and then moved the conversation to WhatsApp. On WhatsApp, we stayed in touch, we scheduled the trial, and when I arrived, everything went great. The plan was to sign for the upcoming season, but the deal fell through during the summer because of sponsors. But it was okay, though, because I eventually ended up signing with another team after doing a couple of other trials.

So it's hard if you're coming from a different country. I'd recommend reaching out to teams in bigger cities who have greater finances because those teams tend to take on more foreign players.

So that whole process, you can do yourself too. Just keep in mind, it's a lot of hard work, and there's no guarantee that something positive will come from it. If you do want to try it, here are a couple of things you should think about. First off, make sure you have a good CV and highlight video because when coaches open up your email, they need to see something they're impressed by. They need to see it. So you have to have something visual. If you don't have that, they're likely going to ignore your email. So make sure you have those two components.

Once you have your CV, highlight video, and your main email template that you want to send out, next up, you need to do your research. Research the different countries, how their league system works, the different teams that are available, what locations they're in. And then the hardest part is actually finding the contact information. What you'll find is the higher up divisions you go, the harder it is to find contact information, whether it be phone number or an email. And that's because those higher up teams tend to have specific scouts and agents that look out for players.

So if you still want to try and reach out to those teams, what you can do is use their general email as a gateway to try and find someone specific in the club. Try and find your inside man that can get you something. I've done that before, and it's worked. In terms of middle to lower division teams, what you'll notice is, depending on the team, they may have their coach's contact information or someone that you can reach out to more directly. So the lower, the easier it is to contact the team.

Once you have that contact information, you can then send your email to those different contacts with your CV, highlight video, and your email template. Keep finding contacts. The more people you email, the greater chance you have of hearing something back. Again, expect response rate to be pretty low, but remember, all you need is one yes, and that can be the start to something big.

This method is meant for middle to lower division teams. It's something that can kick-start your career. So that's one of the methods you can use to get a trial in Europe from Nigeria or anywhere else. Before this video ends, I want to share a tip with you that's been working really well for me lately, and is also a great way to build your connections. And that is to reach out to mutuals, whether it be players or coaches.

In these last couple of months, I've reached out to a couple of players who I never met in person, but I knew of them through a social network or through somebody else. And by reaching out to them, they actually got me connected to an agent or to a team.

So be resourceful. Look around you right now. Think about all the coaches, think about all the players that you've either played with or that you may have through social media, or you just know of them. They can all be an opportunity to expand your network and to connect with someone new. And you never know what that connection could lead to.

We all currently have so many different resources around us, and we often leave so much on the table. So take a moment to think about the different players and coaches you have access to, and reach out to them. Because if you can expand your network, it will have a big positive impact on your career.

AutosCar Impounded But No Title: You May Have Options by WriteArticleAga(op): 10:58pm On Jun 29, 2023
It's no one's ideal day: finding out that their vehicle has been impounded. A variety of situations could lead to this unfortunate predicament, such as outstanding parking tickets, vehicle abandonment, or traffic violations. Even worse, you might discover that you don't have the vehicle title, a critical document for proving ownership. Can you still retrieve your car from impound without a title? The short answer is: it's complicated, but in many cases, yes, it is possible. However, the process isn't straightforward and typically involves additional documentation to prove ownership.

Proving Ownership

While the title is the most widely accepted document to prove ownership of a car, it's not the only one. In many jurisdictions, alternative documentation can be presented to retrieve an impounded vehicle. This documentation might include:

1. Vehicle Registration

Although the registration does not serve the same function as the title, it does provide proof that the vehicle is associated with your name. In many jurisdictions, vehicle registration documents will be accepted in lieu of a title.

2. Bill of Sale

If you recently purchased the vehicle and haven't yet received the title, a notarized bill of sale might be acceptable. However, this typically applies only to recent purchases.

3. Auto Insurance Policy

The insurance policy listing you as the primary insured party can serve as evidence of ownership, as it typically requires the same verification process as registration and titling.

4. Valid Driver's License

This won't prove ownership by itself, but it can help establish your identity, and when used in conjunction with other documents, it can bolster your case.

Replacement Title

If you can't locate your title and none of the above documents are sufficient, you may need to apply for a replacement title. This process varies by jurisdiction but generally requires proof of identity and some evidence of ownership, such as a registration or bill of sale. There is often a waiting period for the new title to be issued, which can be problematic if your vehicle is accruing storage fees at the impound lot.

The Importance of Timing

In addition to providing the necessary paperwork, it's also crucial to act quickly when your vehicle has been impounded. Every day that your car sits in impound, it's likely incurring storage fees. Over time, these fees can add up to a significant amount.

Conclusion

Retrieving a car from impound without a title can be a challenging task. However, it is not impossible. The key is having the right alternative documents and acting quickly to avoid accumulating unnecessary costs. For the best chance of success, contact the impound lot as soon as possible to discuss what documentation they require. It's also worth consulting with a legal professional to ensure you're taking the right steps to reclaim your vehicle.
PhonesSome Android Navigation Maps Work Offline by WriteArticleAga(op): 10:06am On Apr 09, 2023
Are you planning a road trip but worried about losing cellular coverage? Well, you don't have to worry anymore because Android has got you covered with their offline maps feature. Offline navigation app for Android auto basically lets you know the city even as a first timer without turning on your mobile data. Of course, only when you've downloaded the map.

Offline maps are basically pre-downloaded maps that you can access without an internet connection. This means you can use your Android device for navigation even when you are in an area with no cellular coverage. Pretty cool, right?

To download an offline map, simply open the Google Maps app on your Android device and select the area you want to download. You can also select the specific map you want to download by searching for it in the search bar.

One thing to keep in mind is that offline maps can take up a lot of storage space on your device. So make sure you have enough storage before you start downloading. It's also a good idea to download maps for the areas you'll be visiting before you hit the road.

Once you've downloaded the maps, you can access them by going to the "Offline maps" section in the Google Maps app. From there, you can view your downloaded maps, update them, or delete them if you no longer need them.

Using offline maps for driving is easy. Just enter your destination into the Google Maps app as you would normally do. The app will automatically use the offline map data to give you directions, even if you are not connected to the internet.

While offline maps are great for navigation, they may not always provide you with real-time traffic information. So if you're driving in a congested area, it's a good idea to have a backup plan in case you encounter unexpected traffic.

Ultimately, Android offline maps are a lifesaver when you're driving in areas with poor cellular coverage. Just make sure you have enough storage space and download the maps before you hit the road. And while offline maps are great for navigation, it's always a good idea to have a backup plan just in case. Happy driving!
FamilyWhat Was The Best Excuse You Ever Came Up With Instantly? by WriteArticleAga(op): 1:56pm On Oct 21, 2022
My friend had left me in his house, I was doing some gardening work for him and he left the keys in the door and had gone to the shop.

When I heard a knock at the front door, I assumed it was him and opened it.

It wasn't him, it was an official wearing a suit and there was a TV licensing van that I noticed whilst glancing over his shoulder.

There was no way I was going to let him in, I was old enough to know better than letting officials into another person's property, particularly when that person wasn't even there - so I paused for a moment whilst trying to think of an excuse about who I was and why I couldn't let him in.

The official looked at me, he clocked my scruffy clothes and my hair tied in two pony tails and my face and instead of assuming I was a grown woman (I was thirty at the time) - and said “is your mum or dad in?”

I almost burst out laughing, I was deeply amused, he clearly thought I was twenty years younger than I was. But I managed to keep a straight face as I slowly closed the door ..

“No sorry I can't let you in, my parents aren’t here.”

“Okay, well what time will they be back?”

“I can't tell you. I'm not allowed to speak to strangers.” I was so pleased I was speaking through glass at that point because I couldn't keep a straight face.

Anyways, here are some excuses for not attending a meeting you may like...
