....Waste disposal is money.. I worked there before moving cos of the government changing the system... It is dominated by politicians mainly... You don't have to buy a truck or waste disposal truck for it, you can just rent it. And if you have a truck for renting out for waste disposal,..you will be rich, you going to get work daily to the extent that you will be begging your your clients that your truck needs to rest and still they will be begging you to rent it out for them....
...When we started it, we started with just 25,000 around 2021 and that money was used to pay the truck rental and truck (tipper) was collecting 35k per trip. And a truck can carry 50 to 80 drums depending on the size of the truck and also the waste in the drums..
The charge for a drum is 2k while any excess is #500 or 1k depending on the size. That 2k is for domestic/household drum... It's monthly charge..
Banks are paying 25k and above but maximum of 40k per month ,cos their waste is mostly papers.
Clubs 15k and above.. some clubs we are charging them 50k cos their waste is much ..
Fastfood, nothing less than 100k per month as at 2021.. and that time we were packing 3..
Hotels is 15k and above...(still coming)

I think you are a single guy that is why you are the Mr nice guy.

I was like you few years ago. I was making good morning. I wasn't hungry and everyone knew me as a nice guy because I would always turn up for friends, forgive bad debts and become their Jesus. Even in my family I was seen as the bread winner despite having about 6 older siblings who were doing great for themselves, I was left to cater for my aged parents alone because I funded everything without asking or disturbing anyone. Even my nieces and nephews regarded me as their favourite uncle.

All that stopped immediately I decided to get married. I make more money now than I used to make before but one thing marriage does for you is to make you more pragmatic with money and think first before you spend...

First of all 20% of every kobo I earn goes to my money market investment funds, 10% goes to stock investments, 10% goes to my kids education insurance, 10% goes to my emergency funds, 20% goes to savings, 20% goes to feeding, bills and whatever my wife may need (which I always withdraw in cash and give to her, anyhow she likes she uses it sha make food dey house) while left over I keep for myself even in the left over I still find room to do ajor with it and do some opay and piggyvest target savings which I use to clear my rent at end of the year and give my parents from it weekly.

Like I barely have spare cash, not like when I was single and leaving bulk money in my account and when someone comes for help , the money is too easy to access but now every penny is assign to a purpose. I can only be benevolent if I have any spare money in my opay or palmpay account other than that, you will have to wait until December when I collect ajor or cashout opay target savings then from the interest accrued from the year's savings I can be benevolent to give out other than that just pray I have spare cash left otherwise nothing for you because even me sef dey manage. It is saddening to see virgins marry womanizers and serial cheats because of their own blindness. Most women don't know how to choose partners when it comes to marriage. But one detail caught my attention: the reported minimum subscription is just 10 shares at ₦525 each — ₦5,250.

That makes me wonder about something we haven't seen discussed nearly as much.

What does actually owning those 10 shares mean for an ordinary Nigerian?

Not the headlines about the size of the IPO or Dangote's valuation. I mean the practical side.

If someone puts ₦5,250 into the offer:

What exactly do they own?

Where does that money go?

Do they become entitled to dividends?

What happens if the share price falls after listing?

How do they eventually sell those shares?

And if the refinery raises more than ₦2 trillion, what exactly is that money going to fund?

I also think there is an important distinction worth making here:

A low minimum subscription makes an investment accessible. It does not make the investment low-risk.

₦5,250 is small enough for many people to consider participating, but the underlying investment still has the normal risks of owning shares.

Perhaps that is actually one of the more interesting aspects of this IPO.

For the first time, a major Nigerian industrial asset is being presented to ordinary investors with a very low entry point.

So, for someone considering the minimum 10 shares, what would you want to know before putting down the ₦5,250?
