I know my Bible tells me about FAITH & WORKS.

James 2:20,24,26 BSB
O foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is worthless?

[24] As you can see, a man is justified by his deeds and not by faith alone.

[26] As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

James 2:17,20,26 KJV
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

[20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

[26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

John 9:4 KJV
I (Jesus) must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

AFTER THE PRAYERS LET EVERYONE DO THE NEEDFUL.

I want to study Education.

But I have a problem.

The school fees is N200K.

What am I going to do?

Nigeria should make Teacher training free of charge for interested people.

That's is one of the ways to develop a Nation.

Teaching is the lowest paid profession in Nigeria.

A country where Teachers are paid N30K per month in this Tinubu regime, it only takes those with true passion for teaching to still take up the profession.

Oneday, there won't be Teachers in Nigeria again because noone will want to do the job.

Parents will be forced to teach their kids at home by themselves because there would be schools with no teacher.

It is well.
This is an AFRICAN PHENOMENON and not peculiar to NIGERIA. This is one reason the continent is still very backward.

May his soul rest in peace. The parents will never forgive themselves. I pray God visit, comfort & show them mercy.

This story just reminds me of a family friend whose wife returned from her trading in the evening and she needed to get soft drink. Two of their children walked out to go together since it was dark.

The devil struck when a driver lost control and crossed from his side of the road to run into these two young boys. The youngest died instantly but the eldest survived by God's grace. It was a sad season for us then...

May tragedy not be our portion as we go through this year in Jesus' Name🙏

Draw close to God by walking with Jesus...

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Kumuyi Challenges Pentecostal Pastors On Speaking In Tongues by writeprof(m): 4:08pm On Jun 01, 2025
Danisaint112:
WHAT YOUR PASTORS WON'T TELL YOU ABOUT SPEAKING IN TONGUE

Acts 2:1-4 (NIV)
"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Let's get into more details.

Acts 2:6-11 (NIV)
"When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: 'Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?

Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!'"

This account clearly indicates that the "tongues" spoken on the Day of Pentecost were actual, recognizable human languages, miraculously understood by the foreign-speaking individuals present.

So when you hear your pastor saying shabahbahbah! just know it's lies. 99.9% of the time they are trying to fool you.

If no one around there can understand what they are saying or have ever testified to understand what they are saying, then it's a lie. The are simply faking it.

I'm not a deeper life or Jehovah witness member but I know this. It's just common sense.

All the answers you need is in the Bible, let no man fool you. I come in peace.
This was the ONLY time the Bible reveals that men understood the languages being spoken during the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Bible never mentioned anything like that again at subsequent baptism of the Holy Spirit.

IF you're a Pentecostal you will be the loser for it to wait until someone tells you what another person is speaking in tongues. ONLY GOD CAN GIVE THAT REVELATION IF HE WANTS TO & IT MUST BE A REASON

I strongly believe God revealed the disciples utterances to the men gathered because that was needed at that time of confusion about the nature of Christ and followers - Peter clearly explained the phenomenon to the audience leading to the conviction of 3000 men.

John 4:23-24 KJV
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Romans 8:13-14 KJV
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

[14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS A SUPERNATURAL LANGUAGE EXCLUSIVE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Christianity EtcRe: Faith Doesn’t Prevent Life’s Challenges It Carries You Through Them! by writeprof(m): 5:04pm On May 25, 2025
True. Challenges are there to test our faith and become ladders for our all round growth.

Matthew 7:24-27 KJV
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Isaiah 43:2 BSB
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you go through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched; the flames will not set you ablaze.

HAVING JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD IS THE SURE & ONLY FOUNDATION TO WITHSTAND THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE.

THEME: LIFE IS A CHALLENGE

MEMORISE: The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. Proverbs 12:24

READ: Ecclesiastes 12:1-7
1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,

4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;

5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

MESSAGE
An author once said, "Life is a challenge; meet it." I would even go further to say, "Rise above it." Nowadays, however, many young people are seeking a 'soft life'; there is nothing like a soft life. When I was in secondary school, my teacher taught me that every human being brought a pillow into this world, which must be used before we leave. If some people choose not to use the pillow when they are young, they will definitely use it when they are old. According to my teacher, that pillow represents hardship.

If young people choose to put aside pleasures and go through the hardship of discipline to study, work hard, and nurture the right relationships in their youth, they will enjoy their old age. However, if they choose to party and play around in their youth, when they are old, they will either be lonely or have no choice but to work hard to make ends meet. What my teacher called a pillow is what the Bible calls 'the yoke' in Lamentations 3:27: It is good for a man that he bears the yoke in his youth.

Note that the Scripture above does not say 'a yoke', but "the yoke'. In other words, every individual has a yoke, and it is good for that person to bear it in his or her youth. People who don't want to bear the yoke in their youth are lazy people.

Some people are born into royal families, but they may never have the opportunity to rule if they are lazy. Who, then, is qualified to rule? Anyone who wants to rule must be ready for hard work. Those who want to rule must be ready to bear the yoke in their youth. If you want to live a soft life in your youth, then you are not ready to rule. Ruling is hard work, and it is only the diligent that will bear rule, as today's memory verse tells us. There is no easy road to success; the fact that a fellow was born by a successful person does not mean that the person will succeed in life. If you are a youth and you want to reign in life, shun laziness. You must also remember your creator in the days of your youth before the difficult days come (Ecclesiastes 12:1). You don't own your life; take up your cross and follow Jesus so that it can be well with you all the days of your life.

KEY POINT
Those who rule and reign in life are those who are diligent.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: NEHEMIAH 8-10

HYMN 28: GUIDE ME, O THOU GREAT JEHOVAH
Guide me, O thou great Jehovah
pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but you are mighty;
hold me with your powerful hand.
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore,
feed me now and evermore.

2 Open now the crystal fountain,
where the healing waters flow.
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
lead me all my journey through.
Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,
ever be my strength and shield,
ever be my strength and shield.

3 When I tread the verge of Jordan,
bid my anxious fears subside.
Death of death, and hell's Destruction,
land me safe on Canaan's side.
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever sing to you,
I will ever sing to you.

Waste management is a serious challenge in Africa. The situation is worsened by governments (local, state & federal) not seeing it as a major part of their governance.

Nobody can stop people from generating waste which would continue to increase as population increases.

Governments need to put in place structures for proper waste disposal by citizens. This is another means of revenue generation as well as business & job creation for a good number of people.

Patiently waiting......

If I am the president, NYSC would be my best tactics of battling unemployment in the country.
I would set up massive farms and big vocational centers in all geo political zones and make service to be 18 or 25 months.
First 6 months in your PPA with rigorous training in your area of specialization, then assessment to make you qualify for direct short employment and empowerment, those that failed will finish a year in their PPA with the current pay.
Those that qualified would step up and receive 250k upward for the remaining 19 or 12 months in their working centres.

#120k would be automatically saved as gratuity for each qualified corp members and released immediately after service tenure.

Exemption would be made available after 6 months for those that wants to travel out or have other planned engagements.

Believe me the gratuity is something worth to start with in the journey of success if village people are not involved.
Good idea💡Please, mail this proposal to the minister.

Genesis 16:7-12 BSB
Now the angel of the LORD found Hagar by a spring of water in the desert—the spring along the road to Shur.

[8] “Hagar, servant of Sarai,” he said, “where have you come from, and where are you going?” “I am running away from my mistress Sarai,” she replied.

[9] So the angel of the LORD told her, “Return to your mistress and submit to her authority.”

[10] Then the angel added, “I will greatly multiply your offspring so that they will be too numerous to count.”

[11] The angel of the LORD proceeded: “Behold, you have conceived and will bear a son. And you shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard your cry of affliction.

[12] He will be a wild donkey of a man, and his hand will be against everyone, and everyone’s hand against him; he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”

Genesis 17:18,20-21 BSB
And Abraham said to God, “O that Ishmael might live under Your blessing!”

[20] As for Ishmael, I have heard you, and I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and multiply him greatly. He will become the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.

[21] But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.”

I hope the scriptures above answer someone's questions about Israel & their neighbours.
