Michael Phelps celebrated his last Olympic swim with his fiancé and family members. Present where his parent-in-law, mother, fiancé and 3month old baby boy Boomer.
Phelps Fiancé shared a pic with caption,

“Its been an incredible week with the family cheering on @m_phelps00, adding that she wished Phelps’ sisters were able to join.”

Phelps has so far won 6 medals at the Olympics with 5 gold and 1 silver adding to his astonishing tally of 28 Olympic medals. For each race, Johnson and the couple’s son (wearing his signature red, white and blue headphones) were watching from the stands.
The 31-year-old swimmer, Phelps has repeatedly said that these are his last Olympic games.

Quoting him, Phelps said,
“I’m just ready for something different,” he told NBC. “My swimming career might be over, but I have the future ahead of me. It’s not the end of a career, [it’s] the beginning of a new journey.”

She had this to say to her Los Angeles Audience on Saturday,
“First of all, I’d like to say that I’m not doing the Super Bowl, I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really put on… I don’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no.”

She joked about performing maybe after she releases her next album.

The 2nd semester exams for the 2015/2016 session came to an end last week Saturday and it was a sign of relief and a time to go relax at home for the students, after a stressful semester.

But for the final year students, it was a time of celebration and jubilation as they wrote their last paper and final undergraduate exams.As is the tradition, most department made specialcustomised shirts but not before sacrificing white tees fortheir signing out *me included, smiles.

No fewer than five persons were reported to have been killed while two were injured in a clash between the Nigerian Army and civilians at Kpaidna village in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State.
The incident occurred on Thursday at about 1am in Beji community, where a military operation was ongoing.

The soldiers and men of the Nigerian Air Force were mistaken for Fulani herdsmen dressed in Army uniform.
When contacted, the spokesman of the Niger State Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, confirmed the incident.
Elkana said: “Actually we received a distress call at around 1am that armed Fulani herdsmen have invaded their village.
“The command immediately mobilized mobile Policemen and other combatants to the village and Police discovered it was soldiers in operation.
“But calm has been restored in the area.”

After years of search and research for crude oil in thepower state of Niger, that was initiated way back as far as 2011 by the state own IBB university lapai, it has now been confirmed taht oil intact exist in the Bida Basin region of Niger state.

Confirming this news, a statement released by the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Jonathan Vatsa said

“The immediate past state government, through a committee it set up, had confirmed the availability of large quantity of crude oil in the Bida Basin.”

“The search for crude oil will not be complete in the north until Bida Basin, which has a lot of potential, is included because there had been several intensification of crude oil search with re-invigorated exploration based on fresh strategy.”

“The Commissioner said if the Bida Basin could be included in the renewed search for hydrocarbon deposits and it would be a giant step that can step up the economic potential not only for the state but for the country as a whole.”

I should have posted this long ago, as long ago as Monday or probably Sunday evening sef. But like the headline reads "Futminna Commence 2015/2016 session 2nd Semester exams" and I'm still a bonafide student of the university, which means I'm also writing my exams too. It's also my finals, guess you should know waht daht means, I gotta stay focused on finishing strong.

But anyways, rather late than never. My next paper is Saturday, so I got some free time to get off my books and blog so real ish.

25th of July, the Federal university of technology minna Niger state commenced its 2015/2016 session 2nd semester exams, though the school 100lvl actually started a week earlier so they should be rounding up this week. But for other levels they(we) still all have at least a week to go.

Every student already put on their serious looks, and classes are always full to the maximum capacity every night and as usual the school has extended the gen off time to 12am to enable the student more time to read considering the current light ish in the country.

Every photocopy stand business is booming well at this period, as students are in a late rush to photocopy either the course handout they refused to get or photocopying one past question or the other.

Parties too as been suspended till further notice, going to chill at a friends place playing Pes16 to has been suspended *but some niqqas still got mind flexing and watching movies live at the school dinning hall on their personal laptops sha. Everywhere you enter in school, every corner of each class room, you'll see extensions and chargers. #NaSayChange cause am, no light to charge at home....
