I know that but for the estimation to happen you must first do the real counting of people so that you have a figure in which you will add or subtract the difference between birth rate and death rate. So tell me, which figure did the UN use as their anchor to the estimation?

I know a lot of countries deflate their population size in order for it to look good in the books, especially in countries where press freedom is bad like in kenya

Who told you our press freedom is bad? If we didn't have press freedom do you think you could be seeing all the bad news about Kenya that you have been seeing around? I think you confuse Kenya with Tanzania. Back to the population, Kenya's population is 47M whether you like it or not.

Tanzanian government are doing estimates because they haven't done any census recently. The last census done in Tanzania was 2012. In Kenya there is nothing like estimates because we did our census in September 2019, that's less than two years and you can't tell me that our population has moved from 47M to 54M within 1 ½ yrs.
