Let's see the performance of retail sector. Observe the drop in Accra, Lagos, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Dar. Nairobi didn't drop and remained one of the better performing retail markets in Africa.

What people need to get to the wealthy 1% category in their respective countries. A South African needs $180,000 to get in the 1% in South Africa. A Nigerian need $70,000 to get in the 1% in Nigeria and a Kenyan need need $20,000 to get in the 1% category in Kenya.

Ghana is nowhere to be seen. I think their range is below $20,000.

Even with that drop in prices Nairobi still performed better than the rest of SSA which dropped thoroughly. You should not even talk cause Ghana doesn't feature anywhere in Knight Frank report that was released today.
