Austine1213: Over 80 SA companies operate in Kenya and 150 in Tanzania
SA is Kenya top 5 largest investor in the world, even safaricom your largest company is owned by a South African company, your largest malls.
In terms of hotels, Kenya does not have a home grown big player, retailer theres no home grown retailer, etc As you celebrate your 150 companies in Tanzania remember Kenya has more than 500 companies in Tanzania alone.

rvp2018: The crux of matter is kenya has now 70% (8M household out 12M) with electricity that is available now 99% of the time. Blackout make news here. Only western part of kenya that relies on Uganda (Jinja) have MINOR issue and we are fixing them - by connecting it to Geothermal
The fact is in Nigeria that is a miracle - every day the few with electricity - get 6 hours.
INSTALLED capacity is nothing. For example my power plant - is 1MW - I will have 4 turbines - each to produce 250KW - I can turn them on or off - depending - and if say it goes into disrepair - it could go off for long time.
So generation you got problem.
Transmission and distribution - mega problems. In Tanzania the number of connected customers are only 2M and somebody wants us to believe that their connectivity is 80%+

Kazikazi: Tanzania has about 12,000+ villages. The government have so far electrified 10,000+ villages, the rest will be electrified for these 6 months up to June.So in June,we will be almost 100%
Forget about 35%.That is a bullshit which have been said for decades Don't blame us please. This is a report from your government and it says that electricity connectivity in Tanzania is 37%

IGpro1: no Nigerians moved on after discovered Nairobi being the only city in Kenya is a slum coloni of 40 semi-coloni of slums. No Brt No modern train No good roads No water Poor sanitation Poor Electricity Poor residence Poor everything Lipstick skyscrapers to hide rot and dirt in city.
The sea port you kept yapping about has lower annual revenue than onne port in river state in Nigeria. We earn more in tourism, agriculture. Our banks are all over Kenya. We dominate your entertainment. Everything made us leave you to your self delusions Mr LUNCH BOX HEAD Why do you want Nairobi to carry your burden? No good roads Poor sanitation Poor electricity No water Poor residence Poor everything
