Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo To Muslim Sister : “Convert To Christianity Or Die Poor,” by wurajone(f): 11:00am On Jul 29, 2012
Oyedepo is a disappointment to humanity and a proved man of devil. How can U̶̲̥̅̊ put your blood sister on condition before she could be assisted? Was jesus rich? No,he was very poor as evident in both Quran and Bible; so, who are u following, jesus or devil? A lot of Christian students have been admitted into Muslims owned institutions and were not being forced to convert. If ur followers are all blind, they should by now know that u are nothing but a devil sent pastor.
To Alhaja Sarat, be contented and Allah will provide for u. Muslims in Lagos should please come to her aid as part of what islam preaches more so in this month of Ramadhan. Nairalanders should get her account number for assistance from anyone that cares.
Acct no ko,acct balance ni...If you have nothing intelligent to add, just write "Lol" don't let your comment on here show your cerebral unclothedness.

U guys r just saying wht u don't understand. Bishop oyedepo has chosen his own belief and followed suit and he is reaping the benefit. Whoever believes in his ministry will follow him. Same waY his sister stuck to wht she believed in. Let her reap from where she stuck to, she wants to eat her cake n have it. Its not bishop that caused her living in abject poverty. As far as I'm concerned bishop doesn't have power to make pple rich. Its only God that makes rich. We have wealthier pple in ds country than Bishop, whose source of wealth are questionable. Let her fellow islams come to her rescue and Stop all ds propagandas

Sweetnecta: the father who converted out of islam at old age is a testament to the hadith of the prophet [sa] that a people of hell will do things of paradise and he will be only a short distance [arm or ebow length] between him and paradise. then he will do the thing of people of hell before death.

the sister who is resisting the world wealthy brother will inshaAllah enjoy at the end when she complete her jihad [struggle against becoming disbeliever]. when she enters paradise, she will know that Allah is Full of Reward, Forgiving.

if wealth is the measure of Godliness, then the billionaire Bill Gates is more Godly than mere millionaire Oyedebo.

if christianity is the only true religion wonder why there are poor christans?

Allah, Almighty God gives to all, irrespective of religion. He is Al Rahman [The Merciful to all creation on the earth]
He is Al Rahim [The generously Merciful to the creations [man and jinn] who obeyed His Will in Islam.
You will know that on the Day of Assembly when worldly wealth is nothing to count on.

I pray that muslims in Lagos will come to the aid of this woman who is a sister of pharoah like personality called oyedebo.
Oh,because she's a suffering muslim makes her a true servant of Allah right.I see!
don't judge anyone biko o !! God is d only one who c in secret n will expose or reward openly, so watch ur tongue not to get God's punishment.
This woman should cry out to her god. If her god is not strong enough to save her from penury, then perhaps she had better listen very well to her brother's advice, and consider choosing the God of her brother.

Or of what use is this god she serves if she remains in poverty?

Or does she want to benefit from Oyedepo's God while also serving another?
undecided undecided I also wonder oh

This man is wicked ,he went as far as negleting his BLOOd because of religion.the bible is contradictory tho,but it teaches people to love their enemies, that si if a man slaps ur cheek u should turn the other side for more slaps.in oledepo's case he is the one slapping people.he should humble himself and go ask that woman for forgiveness cuz according to the doctrines of the xtians he has sinned
Well I'm An Ex Student Of Covenant University and my Room Mate(sekinat) Was A Proud Muslim And A Whole Lot Of Others, They All Practised Their Religion Without Any Form Of Harassment, So What's The Talk About Religion Discrimination....

CelebritiesMessy Love Life Of Stephanie Henshaw, Okotie’s Embattled Wife Exposed by wurajone(op): 9:37am On Jul 29, 2012
According what Encomium magazine reported; unknown to many, expect close friends, Stephanie Adie Henshaw has never been married before Reverend Christopher Okotie in the true sense of the word.

The mother of three children from two men has rather been a victim of abuse and ill-luck with a chequered history of marital woes that ended up breaking into pieces her fragile heart.

Stephanie’s first love before Okotie came into the picture was a young man she met through a friend in Lagos. With no intention of marriage, being quite young then, the innocent Calabar girl, unfortunately got pregnant for the man.

She was still carrying his baby when he was shot to death in Surulere, Lagos. The tragic death of Stephanie’s hat would happen to her years after.

“The pain they inflicted on Stephanie after the death of the father of her fisrt child was unbearable. One day, she was invited by the man’s people to know how the child was faring. And before she knew what was happening, they took custody of the child. She never set eyes on the boy until two, three years ago,” a highly reliable source told ENCOMIUM Weekly.

We further learnt that Stepahnie’s son was taken to England where he schooled before returning to the country. He has since reunited with his mom.

Stephanie Henshaw’s affair with one businessman, Mazi Okechukwu (Okey) was totally built on deceit which was not initially to the knowledge of the ravishingly beautiful lady.

”Stephanie didn’t know that Okey was a fraud. Okey told her he was not married. He was building a house back then in Omole Estate. Okey had rent a house for Stephanie in Ikeja, Lagos. And each time he sneaked out to see his first wife and children, he would say he had gone to see his mother. The day she found out the truth, she literally fainted,"our source revealed.

It was in-between this affair that produced two sons that Rev.Okotie, who had been admiring Stephanie from a distance started walking into her life.

ENCOMIUM Weekly learnt she was naturally pissed off with the Igbo businessman and literally needed a man she could call hers. From what we were told, Okotie staked his reputation, and risked his life to have Stephanie.

“He really loved Stephanie. There was
nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Okotie had cause to jump a fence for the sake of this love. Of course, you already know, he was attacked physically on several occasions all for Stephanie.

"It was this same Okey that smashed Okotie’s windscreen and all that. He, however, had to give up when it was obvious that Stephanie was no longer interested in the relationship. After all, there was no marriage to be dissolved,
since there was none in the first place".

A born again Christian for almost 20 years, we were informed that Stephanie has always known God despite her marital woes.

Our source who had known Stephanie for many years warned those castigating her to maintain their cool. She even threatened to open up on many more issues relating to her four year marriage to Rev. Okotie if pushed to the wall.

Before now, the impression engraved in people’s consciousness was that Stephanie was a widow and divorcee. an allegation her close friends and family members are now making serious effort to debunk.

Relatedly, more facts are beginning to emerge, throwing more light on the remote and immediate circumstances that contributed to the crash of her marriage to Household of God’s Chris Okotie on Sunday, June 24,2012.

Information at our disposal has it that Stephanie was not going to church as often as she was supposed to as pastor ‘s wife. She had also been accused of being stubborn, while another wicked allegation they fired at her had to do with bi-sexualism.

Rev. Chris Okotie’s image maker, Mr. Ladi Ayodeji, in his response to ENCOMIUM Weekly’s inquiries on the issue that same day said they have no comment on any issue related to Okotie/Stephanie marriage break-up.

“We have nothing to say on this issue. Please go ahead and write whatever that pleases you.”

Meanwhile, Rev. Okotie is yet to say anything about why his marriage to Stephanie surprisingly crashed. He said nothing on the issue at the Wednesday (July 11, 2012), Household of God’s midweek service.

That was also the situation on Sunday, July 15, 202. The charismatic preacher, who adorned a black trouser, white shirt and checked coat concentrated on the message of the day which centered on God’s power of delivery.

And as has been the situation since he separated from his wife, the church was also filled to capacity. Before the church dismissed around 1.30, members born in July were not able to present a drama, No Gossip in the House, which they had earlier announced that Sunday service.

July 22, 2012 marks the fifth Sunday Okotie’s marriage of four years to Efik, Cross River born Stephanie Adie Henshaw crashed. Nothing officially has come from the couple as regards their marital crisis.

Reverend Okotie has maintained calculated silence on the matter since his announcement on June 24. while Stephanie only made references to her marital travails in a recent Facebook update.
Hmmmm once again the cockrel has sound out the call and has state his administration intentions.
We have had from his Brothers in the past sounding their horns how they would perform, but ended up given us eggs in our faces. They delivered corruption, ghost workers, unfinished projects, high unemployment, nepotism, tribalism, poor parastatals, hospitals without running water: beds.blankets,no ambulance for emergency services, ghost ministries were created; the list is endless.
If Gov.Capt. Wada is serious, let him first tell us how much money was handed over to him from the kogi state treasury by his inlaw?
He must also investigate all the unfinished projects and publish them not to cover up the tracks and corruptions left behind by his predecesure gov.Idris.
It is easy to say that he will handover any of his elected officials to EFCC if found to be corrupt or failed to deliver. My advise to him is simple, you can not plant seeds without cultivating the soil.
Investigate your inlaw and all his ex-cronies and publish your findings, then we can start to trust that your administration means business otherwise, stop making perverse statements Capt. Wada and tell us about the level of corruptions and maladministrations you inherited.
We are waiting your excellency.
Someone is talking sense here. thumbsup sis!
PoliticsOndo Gubernatorial Poll: Mimiko Dumps Agunloye, Retains Olanusi by wurajone(op): 9:07am On Jul 29, 2012
Contrary to speculations that the former Minister of Power, Dr. Olu Agunloye might likely emerge as the running mate of Governor Olusegun Mimiko,  the Governor who got the ruling Labour Party (LP) return ticket today retained his deputy, Alhaji Ali Olanusi as his running mate.

Mimiko, who was endorsed by his party members at a congress held at Adegbemile hall in Akure, the state capital raised the hand of Olanusi up as his running mate.

Already, there had been rumours that Agunloye who was a governorship aspirant under the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) met with Mimiko and some cheiftains of LP and they reached some aggreements before he defected for LP last Wednesday at the declaration of Mimiko for second term.

“Daily Post” gathered autoritatively that Mimiko promised to pick the former ACN aspirant, the flagbearer of the party  as his LP running mate and hand over power to him in 2017 if he declared for LP.

It will be recalled that the former Minister said he left the ACN following the refusal of the party national leadership to pick him as the ACN flagbearer.

Meanwhile, early this morning, an governorship aspirant of LP , Mr. Abiodun Ogunjumelo withdrew from the race through a letter he sent to the party leadership.

Ogunjumelo, a Chartered Accountant from Okitipupa local Government Area told the gathering that his withdrawal was as a result of his fervent belief in party supremacy.

“My withdrawal should not come as a surprise because of my belief in the overall interest of our great party. I am declaring to you all that I will die a Labour party member” he said.

The governor, who serves out his first term next February, was then overwhelmingly given the second term ticket through affirmation by party delegates from across the 18 local government areas of the state in an exercise conducted by the National Chairman, Barr. Dan Nwanyanwu and monitored by the Alhaji Ali Abacha – led Election Committee in the state capital, Akure.

Also, ACN   announced Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu as the duly elected governorship candidate for the coming election.

Akeredolu candidature was duly voted for by party delegates  in the 18 local governments of the State.

Announcing the result, the chairman of the congress committee, Mr. Olawale Osun said that the total number of accredited delegates is 61,246 and 55,917 out of the accredited delegates voted in favour of Rotimi Akeredolu.

One of the former aspirants and a former chairman the party, Barrister Sola iji moved the motion for the acceptance of the result. Subsequently another aspirant and a federal lawmaker, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde  seconded the motion moved by sola iji.

The candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu after receiving his certificate of nomination, presented by the National vice chairman, South west Senator James kolawole said it is time for the party to swing into action.

Akeredolu said it is sure that the party will emerge victorious in the election, stressing that he is ready for the task ahead.

In the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, 621 delegates  elected the former National Legal Adviser of the Party, Chief Olusola Oke as candidate for the forthcoming election.

The party peaceful primaries was witnessed by INEC officials and PDP National delegation led by Senator Umaru Tsauri. Olusola Oke  picked a former governorship aspirant of the Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN], Mr. Saka Lawal as his running mate.

Addressing the party delegates, the PDP state chairman, Mr. Ebenezer Alabi said there was an internal aggreement between the party executives and Chieftains in selecting the party candidate and the running mate.

Alabi added that the party went into the primaries after the delegates have unianimously aggreed to vote for Oke.

He noted that “the system adopted by the party was supported by other aspirants and they are all present at this party primaries to support the PDP flagbeaerer”.

The former State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Agagu commended the party leaders and supporters for adopting Oke as their flagbearer, stressing that “in Ondo State today, PDP is one family”.

Agagu said it was part of the aggreement of the PDP leaders to give the party Deputy governorship slot to a former member of any opposition party.

“Lawal was picked today because he was one of the aspirants of ACN and also have the ideology which the PDP has for the people of the state. What we are doing today has never been done in the history of the party. The peoeple have seen that there is a big different between LP and PDP. They are suffering and want our government back”.

The party candidate commended the party members for embracing his candidature, promising that he would never disappoint them.

Oke assured that his administration would focus on creation of jobs for the people.

He said “You can’t embark on infrastruture when the people are suffering, they will embark on destroying them. You can’t be building bus stop when you don’t have buses, thank God for the federal government who gave the states Oil subsidy palliative buses”

PoliticsAbuse Your Positions And Go To Jail-kogi Governor Warns by wurajone(op): 6:47am On Jul 28, 2012
The Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, has warned the state’s newly sworn-in commissioners not to abuse their positions or he would not hesitate to hand them over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for prosecution.

He gave this warning yesterday during the swearing-in ceremony of 18 commissioners and 25 special advisers.

According to the Punch Newspapers, he advised them to shelve selfish conduct and put the interest of the state at the forefront of their service to the state. He further urged them to make hard work and honesty their watchword.

Wada called on the Kogi citizens to be patient while his administration works on delivering administrative and infrastructural development in all areas of the state. He assured the people that the promised development will be delivered before the end of his tenure in 2015.

The new commissioners, through Mrs. Hadiza Onotu, promised to serve the state with “utmost sense of honour and integrity” and thanked Wada for finding them worthy to be selected for the position.

Six women were among the newly appointed commissioners and special advisers.

Christianity EtcTB Joshua Exposes The Reason For #boko Haram Killings by wurajone(op): 7:48pm On Jul 26, 2012
Getting Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua to speak on pressing national issues came with its obstacles. But with persistence, Kehinde Oyetimi got the popular pastor to speak.

See what he said on Boko Haram and other issues below:

Ques: The nature of insecurity in Nigeria is bothering everyone. Many people have given various pieces of advice concerning this issue. Will Boko Haram not end in Nigeria?

Ans: We are fighting flesh and blood and not the spirit being that causes stealing, killing and destruction. Until we begin to fight that spirit being that causes killing, stealing and destruction, the battle will not end. Our neighbours are not our enemies. Remember that our neighbours can be our friends; our neighbours can be our enemies; our neighbours can be those who do not share the same faith with us. It is never the will of anyone to kill themselves because of anything unless there is the spirit to kill at work.

Ques: You prophesied that from February 27 to April, 2011 there would be serious challenges that would threaten the April 2011 election. You called on the President to intervene in the political crisis in Oyo state because the governor would not be able to represent him in winning the election in the state. You said the president should look beyond PDP for success in his election, that his personality would win the election.

You said the PDP would lose in Ekiti and Osun. You said God showed you that a group would attack people in the Northern part of the country, before and after Christmas in 2010. You predicted the bomb blasts in Abuja barracks and other states. These prophecies which you gave in September, 2010 to those in authority have all come to pass.

You also stated that prayers could avert them. You predicted the Dana plane crash which was published in February this year. How do you see these visions?

Ans: Romans 10 verse 9 states that “he that believes has eternal life.” By this statement, the believing means possessing. The instant that you believe, you have whatever you ask that is in accordance to the will of God. The instant that you believe that thing that is according to God's will, it is yours. The instant you believe, you become a possessor of the father's nature. It you confess with your mouth, if you believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, in this way, there is a level of confession and believing. It is deep, deeper, deepest.

Everyone that believes has power to prophesy. The belief in our heart is released by faith. The belief to see visions is released by faith out of our mouth.

Ques: For many years people have argued that you have no biological child. But now, we hear your daughter graduated in Law from the London School of Economics with second class upper division. What do you have to say?

Ans: What do you want me to say?

Ques: Is she your biological daughter?

Ans: (Cuts in) She is my daughter. In fact she is my first daughter. She is my biological child. Those of you who say I have no child, we are yet to hear from your children.

Ques: There are so many pastors with big churches that have their children being involved in running the affairs of those places. Don't you want your daughter to be involved in church activities? After her graduation, what is her next line of action?

Ans: Due to her excellent performance, she was given admission to study for her masters in International Law in New York University; she also got admission into LSE ( London School of Economics) and also to UCLA and other universities in Colombia for her masters.

Ques: You went to Jerusalem many years ago. After you returned, there have been miracles taking place in your church. What happened to you there?

Ans: I have been in the field of God's work before that trip. I only went there to see where my father, Jesus Christ went, the things he touched.

Ques: What are the next events that would happen in Nigeria?

Ans: You want me to book an appointment with God? I will do so. Come next time; I will tell you.

Controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh has shown the other side of herself again by offering to give out one million Naira to anyone that tells her the meaning of her nickname, Poko.

Tonto is known to answer the nickname. Her Hummer H2 number plate is also customised with 'Poko'.

The Ikwerre, River State-born actress announced yesterday her intention to give out the money. She tweeted, "Anyone who decodes what Poko is, I'll give a million bucks (Naira). If you do get it correctly, you'll have to prove it's source. Because my Poko means a lot to me. #POKO."

While some doubted her earlier tweet, Tonto later tweeted to confirm her intention to give out the one million Naira. She affirmed with this tweet, "I f*cking say what I mean. I said I'll fly in a fan, I did. I said 1million (Naira) on Poko. And I'm serious. #POKO#."

PoliticsNUPENG Begins Strike Today by wurajone(op): 11:53am On Jul 26, 2012
The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has threatened to embark on an indefinite strike over the failure of the federal government to pay subsidy for imported petroleum products and the poor state of the country’ refineries among other issues.

The group disclosed this at a media briefing addressed by its national president, Achese Igwe, in Lagos.

Meanwhile, the NUPENG president said the union will begin its planned strike today in sympathy with their members sacked on Wednesday by the MRS Oil and Gas Plc.

Mr Igwe said the strike will continue until the MRS management reinstates the sacked drivers.

He said: “Despite the promises and understanding reached between the union and the management of MRS, the company still went ahead to sack our members, about 2,500 tanker drivers.

“The action of the company is not acceptable to us as a union.”

He said the strike would be restricted to the Lagos zone, which includes Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun and Kwara States.

Other parts of the country depend on this area for supply of fuel; therefore, it would be more like a national strike.

Mr Achese said that other parts of the country might join the strike in sympathy and solidarity.
