When I read about this I just smiled, I don’t care if it is just a rumor (for now) or not . Chris Pratt is a great actor and if anybody is going to walk in the shoes of the Harrison Ford, I think it’s my man Chris. We all saw what Chris did to Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy, both movies are box office success. There are no limitations of what Chris Pratt can do , if you can communicate with a Dinosaur let me see you hands up ? nobody ?. Just have a mental picture of Chris wearing the indy famous jacket with his hat and carrying a whip, I don’t know but after reading about this rumor I am seeing some striking resemblance between Chris and Harrison Ford, They both have that humorous side and can still blend it with action . Indiana Jones can drive anything. Pratt looks good on a motorcycle , and we’ve already seen him do spaceships in Guardians of the Galaxy , although there’s an obvious missed opportunity not letting him fly one of those helicopters in Jurassic World. Nevertheless lets not forget there is always the risk of screwing things up, if you remember George Clooney’s batman or you are one of us against Daniel Craig as James Bond, I am sure you get my point. Being cast into this iconic role is a great honor and a career boost when done right. Continue reading www.yeyepikin.com/index.php/2015/08/04/chris-pratt-the-next-indiana-jones/

charix:thanks for the correction, didn't see that. You complaining LOTR is too long and you naming The Green Mile as one of your fav? It's 3 hours long. It took me 1 whole day, I had to take a recess because the first 2 hours was boring(maybe Tom Hanks made you cry ). Fight Club is nice sha . Haha, really ? C'mon |
People always ask me this question mostly when they finds out that I’m a movie blogger,”what’s your favorite movie ?” And I don’t need to think about it before answering the question, if I can see any movie over and over again I know just the exact movie to choose. Don’t get me wrong though, choosing a favorite movie is very difficult mostly for someone like me who see series of movies daily. I always say you can tell a lot about a person from his favorite movie . A friend once told me his favorite movie is The Matrix, and another was really confused about his choice but finally had to settle with The Saint starring Val Kilmer. I was surprised because I have so many movies I think it is better, if am to choose what’s my favorite movie I know it should be between Lord Of The Rings and Star Wars. Everything about Star Wars makes me happy , George Lucas did a great one there but anytime I think about Samwise Gamgee, Frodo Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield I automatically port to my emotional state, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit trilogy. This movies should be kept in every museum in the world it is more than a movie. This is magic, unrefined art. Lord of the Rings is phenomenal, I cannot honestly find a flaw, never have I shed tears just at the sight of hills before, J.R.R. Tolkiens epic fantasy novel has been brought to life. J.R.R. Tolkien would be proud. The music is great, the shire theme truly fits its image. The scenery is breathtaking and the action is amazing, this movie is full of emotion, emotion on a level I never knew existed until now. But the most heart-warming, eyes-teary thing is the powerful friendship between Frodo and Sam. Never have I seen such a loyal friend, it is truly moving, it brings tears to my eyes every time I see LOTR. Sam and Frodo defines what friendship is all about, ever since I saw Sam and Frodo’s friendship I said to myself I want that. To know that such a powerful bond could exist brings warmth to my heart and I hope I am not the only one. It has been done J.R.R. Tolkiens epic novel has been brought to LIFE. What had been deemed “impossible” has been done. This is more than just a film, it is an art and a MUST watch for all human beings ( Oops was that too much ?) I stand corrected, it is a must watch for all human beings. HERE ARE FEW INTERESTING FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW. ABOUT LORD OF THE RINGS 1. Christopher Lee (Saruman) was the only person involved with Lord of the rings films to have actually met Tolkien. 2. The Lord of the Rings novels were written as if they were translated to English, and the original common tongue of the books is called Westron. 3. The Lord of the Rings: “The Return of the King” is the first and only fantasy film ever to win an Academy Award for “Best Picture”. 4. In The Lord of the Rings: “The Return of the King” (2003), they made a special effort to make sure that sauron’s tower being destroyed did not resemble the World Trade Center attack. 5. Gandalf’s famous quote “You shall not pass” line in the movie is an allusion to a propaganda slogan pre-dating to World War 1. 6. The gravestone of J.R.R. Tolkien and his wife is inscribed with "Luthien” and “Beren”. They were two tragic legendary characters in The Lord of the Rings, who were madly in love. 7. Housing at University of California , Irvine is called Middle Earth and each hall is named after a region or town of LOTR. 8. Sean Connery turned down the role of Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which cost him $300 million ( he was offered 15% of the film’s profit) 9. The length of time from when Frodo first gets the ring to when he actually sets out on his adventure is 17 years, not a few weeks like the movie makes it seem. https://yeyepikin./2015/07/29/secret-whats-your-favorite-movie-of-all-time/ |

Leopantro:My Gawd!!! Black Mirror is by far the most underrated series ever. You know Good series. Kudos. www.yeyepikin. |
I love action movies and if you do too , i know you are going to love this few good action films. 1. Edge of Tomorrow: Every Tom Cruise movie i see is just spectacular, this movie is a must watch. The way he was forced into battle , having to live every day again, you just have to see it. you are gonna love Emily Blunt, she was great, I was craving for more towards the end, hoping to see a romantic scene. It’s based on Hiroshi Shikuraza’s novel “All You Need is Kill”, it’s a true science fiction film, highly conceptual, set during the aftermath of an alien invasion. 2. Fight Club: “First rule of fight club, you don’t talk about fight club”. I don’t know why someone will want to get punch in the face though but you just can’t take it away from fight club. i don’t think it is suitable for kids to watch this kind of movie. Edward Norton stars as a depressed urban loner filled up with angst. He describes his world in dialogue of sardonic social satire. His life and job are driving him crazy. As a means of dealing with his pains, he seeks out 12- steps meetings, where he can hug those less fortunate than himself and find relief in their suffering. Then he met Brad Pitt that’s how fight club started. you should see this movie. 3. Kingsman: The Secret Service: I got hook right from the start, i saw many resemblance with our regular James Bond movies, it was directed by Matthew Vaughn, written by Vaughn and Jane Goldman, and based on a comic book written by Mark Millar. Kingsman is filled with action , giving a distinctly vulgar vibe to a film that otherwise presents itself as a spy genre classic. its cast consists of Oscar winners like Firth and Michael Caine. Anytime I think about kingsman i just remember one thing “Are we going to stand around here all day or are we going to fight” 4. Chappie: This has got to be one of my favorite , don’t believe everything critics tells you. I will never misled you . I remember the first time i saw Chappie it was electrifying, pure entertainment and it can make you shed a few tears too. Who wouldn’t love Dev Patel after Slumdog Millionaire and he prove himself again in Chappie. It was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa. The police force in near-future Johannesburg, South Africa has been replaced with human-sized and heavily-armed robots that, while not indestructible, are powerful enough to have inspired a steep drop of crime rate. For Tetra Vaal, the defense firm charged with supplying the robots, business is booming and other countries are set to place orders as well. However, Deon ( Dev Patel), the brilliant designer who created the robot cops, is somewhat not satisfied and wants to make more meaningful contribution to the society. He later came up with a way of making the machines becoming true artificial intelligence so that they can learn, create and feel just like actual humans. 5. John Wick: When i saw it was starring Keanu Reeves, i just smiled and fasten my seat-belt. The starting of the movie kinda threw me off though but after his car was stolen and his dog was killed, i was impressed with the numerous action scenes. John Wick brings Keanu Reeves back into the action genre he is known for. This is the best work of Reeves since The Matrix. “John will come for you and you will do nothing, because you can’t do nothing” “John Wick isn’t the Boogeyman. He’s the man you send to kill the Boogeyman” Soon after the death of his wife, the woman whose love inspired him to retire from his life as an expert assassin. Wick receives an unwelcome visit to his minimalist, modern mansion in the middle of the night. Russian bad guys have come to steal his prized 1969 Mustang. And they killed his dog in the process. The latter act is horrifying in itself; what’s even worse is that the adorable puppy was a gift to John from his dying wife, who knew he would be lonely and need someone else to love. Just when John thought he was out, they pull him back in. https://yeyepikin./2015/07/24/great-action-movies-for-the-weekend/ |
