Everywhere you turn, you find confusion and one wahala waiting to explode but explode kwanu...for where? Oluwa favors our cause. In another news, you see this man called Rochas, he has absolutely nothing to offer!!! He may have good intentions o but he has no business in leading a state. Imo state is worse than he met it and its worse because he is wasting everyone's time and resources while talking gibberish every single time you hear him speak! The worst bane of our time are bad leaders. We all must join hands to at least force these clueless ones in the right direction...for our sakes!!! |

For me it is a straight pick...REYNOLDS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED (RCC)!!! Hear is why. For the last two years, I have come to witness and experience first hand the horror of road construction made and delivered by RCC and her tug of a staff. I am talking specifically about the contract to construct the Garrison - Trans Amadi - Elelenwo Road in Port Harcourt. I have never in my entire existence experienced a company single handedly set out to frustrate the populace and with such audacity and insensitivity! These guys block roads at will, not minding they are working in an industrial zone with businesses to consider. They decimate entire roads and leave them that way with no options of mitigation for users. Their zero safety conscious staff are not only poorly dressed, they lack basic training as can be observed in how they drive recklessly with heavy equipments, causing heavy traffic with no regard to anyone at all, take bribe from frustrated business owners to grant them access into their business premises, no caution sign or prior notice to road users before blocking a road...many who base in PH will add more! I have personally visited their base along Trans Woji to lay my complaint but as with many things in our countries, it fell on deaf ears. I get a feeling they don't know what am talking about. But I blame everyone who has continued to suffer this hardship, doing nothing even when we know it is pure unadulterated man made frustration. I blame all the business owners in Trans Amadi who have not yet found a reason to take these guys to court for the businesses they have lost in this period. I lay the last blame on the government who have failed in their own capacity to give the needed regulation on companies such as these especially in implementing to the later the Environmental Impact Analysis of this road construction, which would have taken care of most, if not all of these challenges. ![]() |
lol...that last ass though ![]() |
I know am not the only one who have noticed that excessive makeup...especially the one they call 'foundation' make young ladies look old! Why women have refused to see this or rather find the courage to refuse this thing is beyond me. For me, some makeups are for age enhancements and young ladies (worse on their wedding day), have no business coating their face the way they do! ![]() |

Of course! It is self evident that GEJ's regime moved Nigeria forward in the corruption index, consolidating on the initiatives of President Yardua. Though not saint, the corruption that preceded his government was legendary...no contest at all. Having said that, its only natural to expect that PMB will lead the redemption his second coming desperately needs, at least for the sake of posterity. Our country must move forward at all cost and by all means. We are way behind! |
May we fly high like eagles! God bless Nigeria!! God bless the Super Eagles!!! |
smh |
Which way Nigeria? For how long shall we live like this? |
way to go!!! |
lol...these guys are not serious!!! |
letsbet:The flag and it's removal connects with Nigeria in a number of ways. For starters, It's about listening to the legitimate agitations of your fellow countrymen. It's about making a more perfect Union. It's about showing or even attempting to show seriousness and responsibility to solve the complaints of every citizen or group of citizens. This is what makes a country, what builds patriotism...knowing that your country will take care of you. The best example will be yourself Sir. Ask yourself Sir, what complaint do I have against my country...your tribe inclusive, that have lingered but has never been given the attention it deserves by our government. Look how Obama posted his opinion - he summarized this occassion as ''a signal of good will and healing, and a meaningful step towards a better future''. |
Yesterday, the Confederate flag's half-century at South Carolina Capitol ended as hundreds cheered and sang farewell songs, watching uniformed highway patrol officers lower the flag from a pole. For those who don't know, the Confederate flag has been a subject of deep rooted controversy. South Carolina's leaders first flew the battle flag over the Statehouse dome in 1961 to mark the 100th anniversary of the American Civil War. It remained there to represent official opposition to the civil rights movement. But for years, African-Americans and others demanded the flag come down, saying it is a racist symbol that represents a war to uphold slavery and, later, a battle to oppose civil rights advances. Mass protests against the flag decades later led to a compromise in 2000 with lawmakers who insisted that it symbolized Southern heritage and states' rights. They agreed then to move it to a 30-foot pole next to a Confederate monument. But debate renewed last month after a white gunman, 21-year-old Dylann Roof, killed nine African-American worshipers in Emanuel AME, a historic Charleston church. After the massacre, photos quickly surfaced of Roof holding the Confederate battle flag, which he apparently revered as a symbol of white supremacy. The racially motivated attack triggered a national wave of sympathy and outrage, and it renewed calls to have the battle flag removed. And yesterday, the before thought impossible was achieved - the flag was relegated to the state's relic room because, as Gov. Nikki Haley put it, the long-celebrated symbol is too painful and divisive to keep promoting. Compare this with our Nigerian situation and you marvel at the miracle of us still managing to remain together as a country, with all the issues begging for attention. Almost every section and tribe -major or minor, in this country, have one injustice or controversy against the Nigerian state. And in the past as it is today, individuals have taken advantage of this imbalance to act against the state. How the collective governments have managed to remain indifferent to these abnormalities beat my imagination. It is as though they are trying to wish them away but this is pure ignorance as issues will never disappear, if we don't man up and deal with them regardless how bitter they may be. In the words of Uthman Dan Fodio - 'Conscience is an open wound only truth can heal it'. A stitch in time, they say, saves nine. Lets act before Nigeria as we now know it falls apart. |
Why does this feel like an 'arrangee' affair? ![]() |
smh...sometimes I wonder how these guys became governors in the first place. It is as though our system is designed to make sure capable minds never make it to governance. Many of our rulers have absolutely no business in governance and those who should be there are frustrated out of the system. It is often said that when one does his/her best but the gods refuse their success, may those who pass blame be kind to them. May we do our best to find serious minded leaders and may the gods support our course...we have suffered enough!!! |
lol...in the end, politics be like chess...na the leg you first throw we go take follow you...believe Saraki and Dogara are on their own at your own expense!!! |
Many in the APC have grossly underestimated the popularity of GEJ and grossly overestimated the influence of GMB. But this very Saturday Nigerians will correct this odious error! GEJ all the way!!! Forward ever!!! #GEJVolunteer #SilentMajority |
The Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPPCO), Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, Tuesday night stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) spokesperson, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has told yet another lie about the speculated disqualification of the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari from the March 28 election. Fani-Kayode in a swift reaction to Mohammed on the issue said, “Lai Mohammed has told yet another dirty lie. What on earth is our business with Buhari’s court case?” He said: “We know that he does not have a certificate and that he was not eligible to contest but we have moved on from there and we are ready to meet him in the field. The truth is that the APC are suffering from all manner of paranoia and they have lost touch with reality.“They are the proverbial conspiracy theorists who are so consumed by their own morbid fears that they sleep in their wardrobes and under their beds every night. Each time someone knocks at the gates of their homes they wave their hands in the air, they shiver and scream and they say ‘the President has sent the security people to come and arrest us’. “Frankly they deserve to be pitied. They see government conspiracies everywhere and they have become prisoners of their own wild hallucinations. The truth is that we are not in the least bit interested in General Buhari’s travails at the court and we are not in a position to influence the decision of the judge or the outcome of the case one way or the other. “The problem with the APC is that they cannot appreciate the difference between the judiciary and the executive. They are so primitive that they cannot comprehend the concept of ‘separation of powers’. Simply because General Buhari himself controlled the courts and threatened judges when he was in power he thinks that the same thing is happening 31 years later under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. He does not appreciate the fact that times have changed and that our courts and judges are fiercely independent and deeply courageous. “We wish General Buhari well in his case tomorrow but frankly speaking it is the last thing on our minds and we are not losing any sleep over it. Our prayer is that, whichever way, the rule of law is upheld and that justice is done. “We also hope that he is not disqualified so that we have the opportunity to deal with him once and for all and demystify him at the polls. It would be a cruel act to deprive us of the opportunity of bursting his bubble once and for all and to humiliate him at the polls. “We must remember that it was the Director General of the Buhari Presidential Campaign Organisation, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, that has interfered with the work of the judiciary in his state and that has attempted to intimidate the judges by shutting down the state High Courts for the last one year. “It is interesting to note that when the same APC that is now calling into question the integrity of the judiciary got an injunction from the Lagos State High court to stop the broadcast of the infamous ‘Lion of Bourdillon’ documentary they did not complain about government interference in the judiciary at the time. Neither did they complain when they got another order from the Lagos State High Court to stop the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Goodluck Jonathan, from deploying troops to help secure lives during the election. “When things go their way the courts are good but when they suspect that they may not they then make baseless and childish allegations that have no basis in logic or reality. Our advice to them is to grow up, get real and prepare for the greatest humiliation of their lives on March 28″. http://dailypost.ng/2015/03/25/get-set-for-the-greatest-humiliation-of-your-lives-fani-kayode-tells-apc-leaders/ |
