Look at the bottom of the data and you will see the source written there. NECO. Even common sense should dictate to you that if it is data that could only come from a source it can only be from that source or none else. NECO is the only body that conducts NECO exams and could have been the only with such primary data. And guess what they were credited as the source if only you will look and see. |

It is just like foreigners knowing Nigeria for Lagos sake, and assuming the name now overtakes the name of the country in popularity. |

Putinofrussia: What is wrong with his own university? Not good enough? Isn't it an illiterate question to ask? Have you even asked what course the boy read and if Baze University offers that course. Or you think every University is accredited to offer every course? No! So, if the boy had wanted to read aeronautical engineering and Baze University obviously doesn't offer that he shouldn't get education elsewhere? If a cardiologist needs his eyes checked, he shouldn't go to an ophthalmologist because he too is a doctor? Naaa! Paaa! It doesn't work that way. Besides provision of services could be for a grade of life. That ABC Transport Company runs long journey bus services does not mean that if the owner wants to travel and could afford to fly on Air Peace, he must now enter the bus to prove anything. The bus is for a people in that pay grade, while he can check in within his own pay grade too. |

eepeepook: If one dies, marry another. The same was my uncle’s case. He married five times before his death. Two of his ex-wives are still alive. That meant it wasn’t a family curse. There are two things you wont mistake for another- family pattern of curse and personal misadventure. If you see a pattern you will know. It is systematically repetitive amongst persons in a group, this time, a family. Your uncle's situation was apparently a personal misadventure, which is also possible. People have peculiarities as much as they have commonality with others in their family. |

I am very aware that you know who and what a Sole Administrator is and who or what a Governor is.
You will do yourself more good if you can locate the appointment letter handed over to him by PBAT describing his duties and functions and then lay it side by side with the constitution and then come back and tell me if he is wrong. Or you can continue with your fellow colleagues who are hating on Wike and PBAT and with whoever is bending the narrative to suit themselves for whatever purposes. Don't miss the point, his appointment is extra-constitutional in itself to start with. And then to add that his appointment letter cannot give him authority which the constitution has not given him. That's the point. He cannot appoint RSIEC membership without a house of assembly approval. That appointment is not an exigency and cannot therefore be made under the emergency rule. |

You lots have to search the constitution of the FRN. In the eventuality where the State Assembly is not functional, the National Assembly( HoR and Senate) takes the responsibility till the State Assembly is reconstituted. So, you want to say that he will present this to the National Assembly as a legislation of exigency under the emergency rule? |

2gbasky22: I thought one of the reasons for this emergency rule was to reconcile the waring parties. So far, I'm yet to see any reconcilatory move from anywhere. Instead,
it is the release of the state allocation that was withheld for several months to an appointed administrator.
Sacking and appointment of political officials
What a nation This is utterly sickening. Honestly. He even appointed RSIEC members. Is that for an election under an emergency rule? So, who will screen them since there is no house? And to think of it, this guy is not a politician. He came from Cross Rivers, so where is he getting all the names on the list from? Who is supplying him the weed. (Pun intended) And none of the appointment comes with timeframe at least to conform with the emergency rule time frame. He is just laying mines for more crises after the emergency rule. This is fraud and Tinubu is the conman here. He lied to us. He said he was seeking to restore peace and order. He said the sole administrator won't make appointments. He was supposed to be a leader just to ensure security, but he has done more politics than security! |

comrChris: Prof Odoh is qualified for that appointment Him and all other aspirants went through thorough screening by the governing council that elected him. If he didn't meet the criteria, they would have found out and disqualify him.
The same council has come out to say that they did their job very well.
The problem is not Odoh, it's the domineering spirit of anambra people, once a VC is not from anambra, they will fight him , this same scenario played out when Prof Ahaneku was appointed VC of Unizik, he was heavily resisted and fought against for almost half of his tenure simply because the man isn't from anambra but the man was too strong for them to remove. Can this people who are fighting Prof Bernard Odoh, claiming he didn't meet the criteria for that appointment tell us what was Ahaneku's offense that they fought and frustrated him for almost half of his tenure, was he not qualified too?
I graduated from Unizik and still know what goes on there to some extent. The process of selecting this VC didn't start today, it's been on for months. Are you telling me that a process that took months didn't make their findings about the aspirants and disqualify who isn't fit?
The same anambriams complaining, their son is the current VC of UNN and no body is making noise about it, same with Futo, an Afikpo woman,in Ebonyi state,Prof Nnenna Otti ( The woman who stood against Ikpeazu's rigging and declared Alex Otti winner even with her life being threatened) is the VC and Imo people never complained.
These are federal universities, anybody from anywhere,as far as you are qualified can be VC there. Anambra should take their biased mindset to that their glorified secondary school Called ANSU or COOUA or whatever it's called and dictate who should be VC there, not my Unizik. Depeding on when you became part of Unizik, you would have known that Prof Ilochi Okafor SAN faced such resistance too when he became VC in May, 2003. He is from Ogbunike in Anambra State. I was telling someone yesterday what the security situation was like at the Admin Block the day he took office and how tensed the atmosphere was. Physical attacks were even expected. I was there, it was my first day in school and they asked some of us to hop into the bus to go represent the student body of the faculty. Now, at that time, people who process thing as you do hinged it on religion and denomination. "How will an Anglican replace another Anglican? Is Unizik for Anglicans alone? What about the Roman Catholics?" So, it is either religion and denomination or tribe and sections, and none of those builds a nation. It fails to factor in what matters the most, and people hide behind it to do all shades of wrong against our institutions and nation. The issue here is that Ambassador Greg Mbadiwe was never upto any good even from start. I am not surprised it ended in controversies. It has nothing primarily to do with Bernard Odo and Ebonyi and Ahaneku and Imo. When it was Okafor who was from Anambra, being Anglican became the alibi used then against him. So, there will always be this game about tribe and religion, but it is wack. |

NaijaNaWaa: Where he comes from shouldn’t matter. What matters is whether he’s qualified and whether due process was followed. My finding to the latter posers are “no”. Greg Mbadiwe is a notorious lawless wrecking ball. Every single appointment made under his watch at UNIZIK is characterized by imposition and impunity. They’re destroying the university with all these acts impunity. My position too. Greg Mbadiwe is a "bad raddiance and a bad rubbish". I knew with him it was going to be chaos and disorder. From removing the other professor as acting VC to appointing Prof Carol Arinze-Umobi as acting VC, to the appointment of a new registrara and then this, they were all smeared with irreglaurities and controversies. What a man? And the institution pays the price after all. |

In the order of precedence, between your wife and your mother in law, your wife is superior. You are therefore not correct to reason that after your better half had spoken to you about a matter you needed your mother in law to validate that otherwise you will make a case out of it.
It would have been wrong if your mother in law mentioned it and not your wife but your wife has told you, the additional requirement you had expected from your mother in law is pedestrian. |
