Wow! Court matters are procedural. Witnesses are not permitted to go into the witness box until hearing dates are set. The matter is at the stage of pre-hearing, it is after that that hearing dates will be set. So his witnesses could not have been doing anything else than wait for the hearing dates.

Those evidence are not thrown like stones. It is on hearing dates that witnesses go into the witness box to present those evidence. Just hope this is more broken down to details to help.

Don't be that illiterate. It is clearly stated that this is a transcript. A transcript in this sense bluntly suggests the discussion has been transcribed or otherwise translated from a different language into English.

That is not what this means. He is asking for a period of seven weeks within which he could put in his witnesses into the witness box and have them give evidence in chief, get cross examined and then be re examined where neccessary. That's what this is about. It is called hearing or trial dates.

Appointments of Permanent Secretaries are based on quota vacancy. When PS from igbo states retire, they would be replaced by others from that state. Each appointment is based on state and if a vacancy now exists in such state by reason of retirement.

NNPP has since replaced him with Rufai Hanga but INEC said no. Thankfully the Supreme Court this morning agreed with the Court of Appeal and the FHC earlier decision that since he left the party on his own, NNPP was right to replace him before the election and the replacement stands. INEC will have to comply with that order now.

Firstly, the senate president position is not an appointive position by the president. It is an elected position within the legislature which is a different arm of government. The president may have some influence to bear but he does not even have a vote in the election let alone the right of appointment.

Secondly, Tinubu would not have taken a person from the south east or south south as his vice. Just as we complain about the religious inbalance in his ticket, that too would have created a regional inbalance.

We may feel deprieved but we cannot continue to isolate ourselves as lepers. That's mumuish. We lost out on number one and two and they offer us number three and we refuse. So what then do we want? Bola Tinubu or APC do not owe Nigeria and so is also the offer of senate president position. It is ours to take and to know peace.
