You know when you do something over and over it becomes a part of you and when it becomes a part of you, you show it off character wise.
I didn't say those who play GTA like games are capable of replicating the game in real life but some people who play GTA like games are capable of replicating it. It all boils down to one thing, CHOICE.

You choose to get addicted to it to the point you become imbibe in it prompting you to exhibit the actions seen in it (GTA like games).

You likewise choose not to get addicted to it or let it take over you, the gamer, thus prompting you exhibit the actions seen in those games.

It requires Self Discipline and Self control.

But unfortunately, lots of people lack the above qualities which them leads to them been so taken over by the game or so addicted to it thus prompting them exhibiting what they see in those games in reality.
This is the reason, GTA like games have PG ratings to show it's not for everybody but matured minds.

By the way I play GTA games, as a matter of fact, the GTA franchise is my best gaming franchise ever but I don't exhibit those actions in them, why, because I have self control and discipline. Most especially, I made the choice not to be addicted and imbibed to/in the game which will lead to reality testing or practice.

So in essence, some people tend to exhibit what they see in those games why some people do not.
