am currently on my 6th bmw model now. But I think am goin to take a break for some time. My very good mechanic has turned into a car dealer. U hardly see him to work on ur car. I intend selling my upgraded e46 coupe 2.8 ltr engine and my wife's e36. She nearly bite me wen her car was not repaired for 2 weeks because my mechanic turned car dealer was in cotounou. Already got her a civic, so I can rest.I love BMW with passion, but its a pity I have to take a break. I will definetly be back. Beemaa for ever.

@ poster. If I hear u well, ur e46 is a 1.8 ltrs 4 cylinder.
Don't attemp to change unless u av peper.its an alluminium block engine, and always very sturborn.
The bigger ones with starght 6 are usually cheaper to buy and maintain.
As for the a/c look for a good electrician and probably scan to detect the problem.u might be suprised its a minor fault

My advise, look for a buyer, sell and buy a sraight 6 engine car.may be a 325i or 330
Afterall. Bmw without a big engine,is like a fighter jet with guns or like a solder in war front without gun.

@toba, wot part of dis country do u stay? Dat u av to wait for months to get automobile parts. I grew up in lagos and now work in d north. Iav used more than 2 merc c class and 6 bmw brands.within a short while . I don't wait for parts to be ordeded.they r available bros.

Has anyone driven the BMW m3 E46 2004. 333Hp with the smg transmission?
I was lucky to test drive one. Since then, my wife always wake me from sleep driving one in my dreams
God help. I need to buy one, so can stop dreaming.

the Mercedes Benz is a wonderful make.
i have actually used the 99/00 c230 kompressor and the c280 of same model.
they were wonderful, and i never regretted using any of them.

but ever since i started driving BMWs,

my life has never remain the same.

come try our road network in the northern part of nigeria with BMWs,
OMG, imagine ABUJA-JOS, JOS-KADUNA, BAUCHI- MAIDUGURI with the likes of

E46 2002/2003 (COJA),especially the 3330i, the X5, the older model 5 series(E34), the older model E36 and the E39.

to mention a few. i grew up in lagos, but now work in the north.
