How do I get that?

Hi guys, please I need help. I use a visa debit card, whenever I put in my details to link my Google play store account, I keep getting this frustrating error "Change card details, or use another card." Please if anyone has encountered the same issue, inform me on how to solve this. Thanks in advance.

From experience don't ever use AIRPLANE MODE to charge, it kills battery. though it will charge fast but your battery life is at risk. Am suffering from it presently, my infinix battery depreciated after charging my phone with airplane mode

Sorry Sir but your comment does not make sense, don't take it the wrong way, the battery will be at no risk at all, unless it came faulty from the factory, which is rare.

You may be browsing on insecure sites and may have a Trojan installed on your phone. Fear not, go to security under settings and turn off ' allow to install from insecure sources' especially when using your data. Then uninstall the apps and make sure you download an antivirus. Hope it works.

I've finally been able to solve my problem. Downloaded and flashed twrp for lollipop http://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-for-lollipop/ which sloved my problem now got root and gapps running. Thanks everyone for your help.

Reflash with another recovery image file. Select only recovery in the flash tool. That should fix it.

When 'reflashing' do I use upgrade firmware or download?

You don't use scatter file when flashing recovery mehn...

Steps to flash recovery
1. after you flash in the rom via spflashtool
2. just leave the flashtool the way it is. On the spflashtool, look on the list and you will see recovery.
3. Now move your mouse to the right towards the end of the line showing recovery and click
4. A window will popup to select a file. Just locate where you saved your recovery image on your desktop and select it.
5. Once that's done, click download and wait for it.

That's all.

I just followed exactly what kurropt1al told u to do from the first page.

Does it boot to stock recovery? If yes then the TWRP isn't flashed properly if No then you have to reboot to recovery properly, hold power button plus volume up for 5-8 seconds

With stock recovery it boots into it seemlessly with no problem, but when I flash the twrp, with the scatter file supplied in the folder it gives me an error and refuses to flash. I then used the scatter file that came with the stock ROM and navigated to the supplied recovery image (I even downloaded the latest twrp recovery 2.8.4.0. - without a scatter file) Which showed success flash >red >yellow>then green. Now trying to boot into twrp fails. I'm totally stumped

Also remove the battery and try again.

Yeah I've done that(I know how to enter recovery), it shows 3 menus (recovery, fast boot and normal boot- I choose recovery option) goes into a screen that shows '4G LTE' then reverts to normal boot in to 5.1 os, it doesn't go into recovery as it should. Thanks.

Hi guys. Pls I need help. I own a Jiayu s3 advanced. I followed the steps provided on the first page religiously, and downloaded from the links provided from the aforementioned page. All steps worked, however upon flashing with twrp, my phone does not boot into the custom recovery. All other methods needed for installing twrp requires that the phone be rooted, which I have tried all methods I have come across and failed( the best method I guess is to install superuser chainfire through twrp) I now stuck on this ROM and can't do recovery, please advise me. Thanks.

My opinion is that you can easily google the features of lollipop android and get first rate explations from experts and Google herself, unless you want someone else's personal experience, of which you won't find many, because not many people have joined the lollipop band wagon yet. indigold2010: thats d problem with tecno phones, no good support. If it were samsung u flash stock rom tru odin, for htc, u fastboot through bootloader. Think u wil need to instal d original stock image, and i hav to confess that it wil b hard to find. My best advice for u is to visit a tecno support shop

Rooting your phone voids the warranty. Good luck with that.
