XerXesNG, sir/ ma, as at the last time I plied the route, the road is good ( except very close to Kontagora and the Jebba axis) because it was under rehabilitation. I think REXIBITY a nairalander served/ resides in Kebbi; he/she might be of good help in answering other questions.

The route from Ilorin through Kontagora to Kebbi, how good is the road?
Because no be by map, map no know good road and robbers-infested routes.
And yes, Dakingari in in Suru, from the map. So its best to enter from south of Kebbi if we're coming from south of Kebbi (Lagos and South West Nigeria)

Basically, people from the east should go through Abuja.
Southwest can go through Ilorin-Kontagora (Niger State)-Dakingari (Camp)


But whats best for everyone is to get a direct bus from anywhere we can.

Lagos to Kebbi is more direct if they go through Ilorin and not Abuja.

According to report, the camp is located in Dakingari in Suru Local Government Area of the state, a distance of 157 kilometers from Birnin Kebbi.

Kebbi is a very big place.

I never knew where this state was situated. I had to look at the Nigeria Map to know.

Out of curiosity, I had to search further.

I realize Kebbi is newly created state carved out of the old Sokoto State of Nigeria


Kebbi has border with Niger Rebublic, Sokoto, Zamfara, Niger state and also close to Benin Rebublic.


If you want to fly, there is airport at Sokoto called Sultan Saddik Abubakar Airport, Sokoto.

I wonder how I'll survive in this place.

UPDATE - INTEL ACQUIRED SO FAR FROM NAIRALAND

Towns/LGAs of interest are below:
Zuru (Christian dominated LGA)
Birnin Kebbi (LGA that can be refferred to as a city)
Argungu
Aliero
Jega
Yauri

Kebbi is relatively peaceful unlike some other northern states.
Prepare to leave a somewhat isolated life because only your coleagues will provide you company and no where to go and unwind.
Dakingari, where the camp is, is the governor's town.
You can get an apartment in the barracks for some level of guaranteed safety. (Dukku barracks in Birnin Kebbi)
Weather gets very hot and very cold, so go with clothing for cold weather.

CAMP IS IN DAKINGARI NOT ARGUNGU.... TAKE NOTE. They are about 5 hours apart!

What's the best method to redeploy? I would like to redeploy to Edo State (where my school is) or Lagos (if even remotely possible).

This is appalling.
The fact the the Police do not know what they investigated.
Calling a keylogger an extractor.
If they're guilty (if) , then they must have been very dull to just transfer money and leave a trail.

Sometimes I wonder if our Law enforcement is capable of handling any form of digital crime. Example, someone uses your computer to do something illegal. If its traced back to you, you get arrested, further investigation is not carried out not like we have laws on computer usage anyway...

I tell you, some of these people arrested are innocent. The guilty ones are stupid, to use a hardware keylogger.
