You use stacomms, visafone, reltel, zoom sims on it, There's not much profit in unlocking the a cdma network modem afterall. Which did you unlock? Huawei EC226? |

I found out its possible if you know the unlock code ofg the modem! The big question now is, How will you get the correct unlock code? The code calculators around don't work for recent modems cos the firmware is up to date! Any other Ideas? |

UNcleSam, Is there anything that can be done to get the real unlock code for an EC226 Huawei modem with the following details? Its definitely not this code "54425154" Thats what I calculated but I've used it with manual unlock, different unlockers etc, it didn't work. I was wondering if I could use my sim on these modems. Then I got to realize they're CDMA modems and work with UIMs instead. So I'm thinking, if a visafone UIM will work on a MultiLinks EVDO huawei modem if unlocked. Any ideas? I hate being limited to one network. And Ion have a way to get any RUIM/UIM (zoom, reltel, visafone, starcomms etc) |
