Have you ever found yourself in that great confusion where you wondered if there is God, or him answering prayers?

Have you ever doubted anything about holy scriptures or religious doctrines?

Do you have many unanswered questions about life, supernatural beliefs and the likes of it?

You are not alone, let's talk about it in a watsap group: "THE AGE OF REASON" whatsap group is a new forum that is set up for rational discussion about God, religion and reality. Click on the link to join discussion.

WAKE UP!

We've been lied to about many things
(answer the question bellow and get N1000 card from me)

Can you remember any of the many lies our parents told us in those days

Parents love to discipline each and every child. Our parents spanked us to keep in line. If spanking didn’t work because some of us were too stubborn, they told us stories that scared us straight. Virtual all these stories are made up.

Who am I kidding? Most of them were made up! Just like many other things we believed in now.

For example: Ojuju Calabar
_________________________________________________________
I don’t know if Ojuju Calabar is the Nigerian version of the Boogey man, or maybe it’s a masquerade. All I know is that in my house: “Ojuju Calabar will come and get any disobedient and errant child.”

Does it really work?
When did you grow up to realize it was all myth? And today, what are those things we still believe in?

The illiterates of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write, but those who cannot unlearn the many lies they were made to believe.

I believe in one God, the source of all creations. I believe in the equality of man; and I believe in the religious duties that consist in doing justice, loving mercy, and
endeavoring to make our fellow-creatures happy.

My mind is completely at peace because I have accepted the world as the human mind can grasp it.

The supernatural and the spiritual is beyond human ken. Period!

I'm not interested in nor concerned about all the spiritual stuff all revealed religions teaches, because I don't believe them again.

I believe however, in the law of karma. I shall thus respect my neighbour's right. Treating others as I'd like them to treat me. Simple!

The ultimate goal of a man here is to be happy, and I believe that happiness comes not to those who seek it for themselves, but to those who seek it for others. It is therefore, my responsibility to try everyday to put smile on other people's lips. To make them happy so to be happy myself.

I do not do good to others for the reward of heaven, or because of fear of hell. For me, doing good is simply living.
Don't think that sin or evil actions we do will hurt God, no. We rather end up hurting ourselves, not God. God loves everyone equal.

Every national church or religion has established itself by pretending some special mission from God, communicated
to certain individuals. The Jews have their Moses; the Christians their Jesus Christ, their apostles and saints; and
the izlam their Mahamet, as if the way to God was not open to every man alike.

Each of those churches show certain books, which they call revelation, or the word of God. The Jews say, that their word of God was given by God to Moses, face to face; the Christians say, that their word of God came by divine inspiration: and the Izlams say, that their word of God (the Koran) was brought by an angel from Heaven. Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my
own part, I disbelieve them all.

The God who sustains Muslims is the same that sustains Christians and Hindus and Jews and Buddhas and Pagans and thieves and... every living thing.

I spent many years of my life believing in an inherited lies and fictional propaganda made with historic nature, with the aim to control (for gain) human as early as the time of the desert dwellers. My life was no doubt entwined by the dubious promises and illusional hopes.

My God given brain was enchained and clouded by an unquestionable book; which hindered my rational mental development and rendered my analytical mind to a state of tardiness.

Revealed religion is the last bond of slavery that holds many people (especially in Africa) together. An opium of the masses. An inherited brain lesion.

And the password is, the word I now hate so much: FAITH (which translates to foolishness). Once they succeeded in trapping you down with that so-called Faith, they'll hypnotize and waste your future away in the name of believing and waiting for MIRACLES, GRACE or FAVOUR

Take a look at all the countries that managed to focus on their brain early than waiting for favours from heaven, they are doing exceedingly well. To whom brain is given, wisdom is expected. An answers to all praying and fasting are not on your knee, but in your brain. God answered you the very day you were conceived.

You use TV, Cell phones, aeroplane, refrigerator etc... etc. Why can't you pause and think twice? Why can't we grow up and think about God the human way?

Give me one genuine reason why you believe any holy book to be more than hearsay and win a N1000 card

Nigerians, wake up! This mentality will never help. See how you are praising a man who has proved to the world his incompetency to manage the presidential office with numerous public blunders and disobedience to the rule of law.

How creative can you be? thinking of his height and swag? Has he more swag than Charly Boy?

Has he been able to quench BOKO militants to brag for Niger militant looming ember?

Politics / A Wake Up Call by xmozex(m): 8:44pm On Jan 17, 2016
It now dawns on me like the sunrise of another day. Like waking from a long foolish sleep. Yet I did not consider myself wise, for if not for how hard I’ve been pressed, I probably could still be wandering in abundance of ignorant. Dwelling in a smoldering peace amid friendly foes. And this justifies the wise Igbo proverb ‘’mgbe onye iberibe matara ihe, nke oji agwula’’ (when a foolish person realizes his ignorance, all he had has finished).

This is a wake-up call to all Igbo youths. I do very much realise the implications and consequence of this call, but it is better for us to prepare for the worse and hope for the better. ‘’If there must be trouble, let it be in my own time, so my child can have peace’’ says a patriotic man.

We are the last generation with the fairest capacity to ask or fight for our freedom. Many of us can no longer speak Igbo language fluently. Many of us can no longer write Igbo alphabet (a b ch d…).
Our tribal and cultural value is dying by days. Virtually every one of us around this generation answers English first name, and that means our next generation will bear no Igbo surnames.

How many of us today can tell the origin of the word Igbo or Biafra? How many can tell the history of Igbos or South-eastern Nigeria to our younger ones? It hurts me to see that the light is dying in our hands. But why?

Are you truly comfortable with this country? Why do you think that Biafran freedom is an impossible mission? Why do you believe the lies from our enemies and jealous neighbours against Biafra? Why do you think we can fail again because Ojukwu failed?

I want you to understand, brothers, that to the glory of Chukwu-Okike-abaiama, the fight has already been taken up. Money, time, brainwork, commitment and first degree sacrifices have already been taken care of by other enlightened and more privileged Biafra’s home and abroad. All we need from you now is to enlighten others of the need for Biafra. Tell them to be ready to get Biafra ‘’by every means necessary and possible’’... REFERENDUM is one of the options we also need to understand. (How many of our people out there know what it means?) Let’s start living with Biafra at heart.

The more aware we are about this mission, the more moral support we give, the less chances of going into another war. If you are reading this article, know it that you are in the position to help sensitise those who know little about the need for our freedom. Educate our brothers who cannot browse; the old and the young. Tell them the importance of believing in Biafra.

Tell them that we are different from the rest of Nigeria.
Tell them that we are Jews, descendant of Abraham.
Tell them that the entire South East and South South are the Decedents of Eri (the 7th Son of Gad, Son of Jacob).
Tell them that Biafra was in existence before the colonial invasion.

Tell them why they are burning Igbo goods in Kano and demolishing Igbo dominated markets in Lagos while traders are still on Christmas/new year holidays.
Tell them why they hate us and keep killing us.
Tell them that we must exist independently as a Republic of Biafra for better tomorrow.
Tell them that nothing can stop us because Abraham blessings are with us.

Viva Biafra!

Fashion / WOMEN AND HAIR --a Call For Gossip by xmozex(m): 9:19pm On Nov 10, 2015
Hair is one of the fashion that glorifies women beauty and adores the uniqueness of their feminism.

Of all the handiwork women do, the art of hair braiding have always amazed me. Have you really take a closer look at the plaited hair and see how perfect?

Women can confidently design many styles of hair with just comb and their fingers and it always appeals to my eyes.

You'll agree with me that many women don't care about expensive cream or perfumes, but virtually all women are interested about making and changing hair styles.

I have seen many different hair styles among African women, but their is something I realise, we men don't rate the beauty or quality of women by their hair. We don't know the price value of hair. For us, hair is hair. Where we rate a twin with a hair of #60,000 is were we can equally place the other with #3,000, or even another with afro-cut. I heard that there are weavon of #600, #5,000, #15,000 and even #30,000. But men cannot predict the price difference. Why the competition then?

I still love it more when my girl lose her hair, wash and curl it. I love sitting under garden tree and have my palm run smoothly on my lady's hair.

Have I not say that the hair is good for women? But I must tell you that there are something annoying about women hair. Viz:

1. Carrying an expensive hair on a cheap brain: Some girls would pack the whole wool in the saloon on one head, maybe hoping to achieve a full or tight plaited look. Hey Bimbo! It doesn't count ok.

2. Dandruff: Hmm! I hate it when women lose their hair full of dandruff around me. That sucks!

3. When the hair frays out: It irritates my eyes when your hair started loosing by itself. Why not loose it and live by your natural hair?

4. Smell: Some girls when you get close to their hair you'll forbid girls. I think there's these perfumes everywhere in the street. Or better still, insert confor nah.

5. Headache: Most times when they come back from that saloon-oven/dryer, they'll start complaining of headache and pain. Tomorrow they'll still go.

6. Uncomfortable: Watch girls closely, from time to time they keep hitting their head because of scratches on the head, they'll toss the hair when it feels heavy on their neck, they'll use finger to remove is off their eyes.

7. Sensitive to rain: She'll ask for just a waterproof when it rains, for she knows what fate await her if the hair gets we.

8. Daytime net-covering: I hate it when I see a women wearing net when not cooking or asleep. Why would you spend all the money for your hair and still wear net inside a bus, or anywhere for that matter?

9. Improper disposal of hair strands: look around the neighbourhood and see fowls wearing weavons around the leg.

10. Sometimes we find a strind in our meal, bath tub and wash-hand basins, table, mirror stand e.t.c

This is my first day and first reply in nairaland. So am kind of shy to say a word. but i beg for your permission to try:
*************************

Anyway, this question seemed complicated to some people, foolish to some and funny to others. But it's the kind of question I'd like to ask; and the kind of thing I like doing.

It is called a hardly chase when you see a girl on a side walk and make a move. (I love such motion)

"hi," then start acting. behave as if you are really shy and confused. Women like to listen to shy men try on them
" Am sorry I've been having a problem trying to talk to you since I observed you on this side walk. I, i, I hope you wont't be mad at me?" thats how to start up an interesting chat.

''hi, Please how can I find my way to the Xmozex's Pharmacy?"
'', "
"Don'y mind me, am not lost, (laughing) I just want to say hi to you"

"Hi, Am sorry, i think I'll like this type of your hair style on my twin sister (smiling and looking up at her hair) What does it called?"
", "
"Where did you do it?" , "it looks nice."
", " can I ever see you again?

if you need more tricks, call me on 094848219
