Cable News Network, CNN, has clarified a tweet in which it said that 38 people were killed during the EndSARS protest at Lekki toll gate in Lagos.

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the arrest of the former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, who jumped bail following his trial on N2bn money laundering charges.

Giving the order on Wednesday, Justice Okon Abang also revoked the bail earlier granted the fleeing defendant, ordering all security agencies in the country to arrest Maina wherever he may be found and produce him in court, without delay.

CNN has released its findings from an independent investigation carried out on the October 20 shooting incident at the Lekki tollgate.

CNN shared footage of what appears to be soldiers shooting at the #EndSARS protesters who had gathered at the tollgate to press home their demands to end SARS as well as end police brutality.
