A bouncing baby girl was welcomed today at Malkohi IDP camp in Yola, Adamawa state. The mother who reportedly put to bed around 4.00 am this morning -is in good condition with the baby. A hearty congratulations to the new mother.

Many stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday changed their camps -as they defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a grand ceremony at Isiokpo, Ikwerre local government area in Rivers state. Photo-News; The Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Kolawole addressing pressmen during the handing over of Ese Oruru, the abducted girl to her mother on Wednesday at the Force Headquarters (FHQ).. Both the mother -Mrs. Rose Oruru, and daughter -Ese are billed for a 5PM flight from Abuja to Port Harcourt, en route Bayelsa State.

Meanwhile, Yinusa, the tricycle operator who abducted Ese Oruru, is currently in police custody, the Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed. The force PRO said at the briefing that the girl would undergo a comprehensive physical examination.

The incident caused a heavy traffic gridlock in the area as authorities sealed of the road to prevent further harm to motorists and road users -before the arrival of Power Holding Company of Nigeria, (PHCN) officials.
