So, friends...how would you answer this?

For how long am I supposed to get stuck in the 1st Law of Power?- "Never outshine the Master".

No Job is perfect, some are just better. How many of the following are you facing in your place of work?
1. Trying your best to be heard.
2. Coping with slackers that slow you down.
3. Avoiding disagreements with your co workers.
4. Dealing with office bullies since they see you as a threat to their position. Why won’t you report? Oh, you can’t. For Fear of retaliation or dismissal.
5. Coping with office Gossipers and Trouble Makers. They are disruptive and they cause misunderstandings.
6. Some people are just there to dull your morale since they are always complaining. They always see the negative side of everything.
7. Backstabbers that deliberately withhold important information since you appear to be their “rivals”.
8. Trying your best to maintain your integrity by not compromising based on the requests of your oga at the top.
9. Problems with a boss because of personality differences or work style which could be physically and emotionally draining.
10. Harassment and Discrimination.
11. Being passed over for promotion.
12. Being stuck in “Glass Ceiling” situation, whereby you have advanced as far as you could possibly go with your current employer. But you are just there looking through the ceiling to the next career level.
13. Being stuck in pigeon-holed, a situation whereby you have been considered as a person who is very skilled in only some certain areas and not considered for any other type of work at your workplace. You know what this can do to your career on the long run.
14. Annoying early Morning alarm

They really are beautiful but I saw this list 2 years ago. They should be outdated by now.
We think they are the most beautiful and all that, but if given the opportunity to be there on the day they were being created, I am sure they would have corrected somethings about their own bodies themselves.

Technology is destroying our jobs!
Can we say technology is the problem? Looking at the various advantages and benefits it has brought to the world but it is time to face the reality.
Over a hundred years ago, about 90% of people used to be participate in the farming process but today? Less than 1%. Machines are doing most of the work. The jobs are gone.
Instead of people as customer care service representatives, today people talk to machine. Where are those jobs now? Gone. I fear for future of the people in that line of work.
Who employs sale people again? When there are likes of Jumia, Amazon, Konga etc With your phone you can buy anything online, safely delivered to your door post.
I don’t even want to bore you with how fast human beings
are becoming irrelevant in the banking sector these days. with internet banking, ATM machine and the rest. Thanks to technology.
Fewer jobs every day, more and more people competing for them. If your salary is slashed into two today, what can you do? Another person is waiting outside, very eager to assume your position with lesser amount of your current salary. Government workers in Nigeria are feeling that heat.
That you are loyal to your company doesn’t mean your company would be loyal to you. That promise of being rewarded by your company after so many years of service is becoming a myth, especially for government workers.
How awesome is your career? Don’t even fool yourself with the belief that you have job security.

Call it being pessimistic, but I call it the reality. Very few positions and too many unemployed people competing for them.

If they cut your salary, you have just got to accept it. There are people that will take up your position for lesser amount of your salary.

If you thought you have found the perfect career in this country, you are really deceiving yourself. That you are loyal to your company does not mean the company would be loyal to you.

Residual income is still the best way to go!

You can keep shouting change and capitalizing on your thousand excuses.

You can hang in there and keep struggling or get out and get a life.

Lolz, I have stopped applying for jobs. The consequences ? Sorry, none. I love my life now. It's four years now after I finished school. My CV was carefully, confidently and happily written, ready 3 months to my POP. Labour market, no, favour market like we were encouraged to call it in NCCF. Whenever I looked back at how I desperately and stupidly travel to places for interview, I still get mad at myself. Screw them all. Had I known earlier. I thank God I found a way out before frustration kills me.
