Seun: What is the problem your colleagues at work have with Nairaland? Try to be specific and coherent.
.

The attitude of your mods, more like it. I had made several posts in the romance section and i noticed they had been hidden, i wasnt bothered, but when they made posts themselves on various topics and their post were hidden and sensible topics hidden as well, they decided to stay off. I didnt think it was something serious until i saw a post here about the same issue as well, saying people have left.

Anyways losing few of your members isnt much of a big deal, other people would keep registering. Well i would advise you speak with your mods on how to deal with your members, it was very silly of sexkills to threaten to ban me and calling my posts spam. When in essence he ought to have told me my posts were not appreciated in the first place and were spam, imagine being rude when i spoke to him in a most matured manner. I have told him not to waste further time in banning me. That's his issue and not mine.

pDude: Seun, we have a "go up" button but we don't have a "go down" button. Also a "dislike" button would be nice cos most websites have it.

And BTW, you should know that many have left nairaland cos of your excesses. Hope ur azz is happy now you meddling fork!
I thought i was the only one that noticed this, even my colleagues at work that were always on NL don't even bother anymore, i am even surprised at the behaviours of some of his mods, but il guess they are doing their job anyways.

A fashion designer, i have plans on a pret-a -porter line, something affordable for everyone, a mix of ankara and suitable materials. I have my shop which isn't ready yet, but its for my haute couture part, where customers would come in look at my sketches, look at catalogues, pick a style or get one sketched for them, sewn and picked up. Everyone in this business, the sky isn't even our limit.
FashionRe: Un-even Skin Tone!!!!!! So Embarassing by XtremeBase(f): 7:21am On Jun 21, 2012
kandiikane: Erm, I have been using palmers cocoa butter with Alpha and beta hydroxy from the normal palmers. Seems, good. Helps with uneven skintone and stretchmarks etc.

Plus, I looked into chemical peels and found that gycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid(good for black skin) etc are very good. They are mild chemical peels that help to peel off the old skin on your face. Your face sheds but it takes ages so these peels help quicken the process within days. I just recently found out about them(the home kits) and did research on google and youtube. Saw people's experiences and they were good reviews from black skin. They help reveal the new skin, spots, uneven skintone, malasma, hyperpigmentation and brighten the face. I decided to order glycolic acid on ebay for my legs because got old scars I want to fade. Just waiting for my order now, I'm not gonna put it on my face yet because I have a sensitive and oily face and until I see what it does with my legs. Will keep you posted but make sure you research them, if you are interested.
Unfortunately we dont have access to this peels here, if you want them you have to go to the spa and simple session cost the price of 20 home kits of the peels.

lordfavour: advise, thinking of leaving paid job for fashion, i mean tailoring and stuff, but dont know if it pays much
@Lordfavour, i cant give that advice just yet, cos i am still getting my business together and yet to start, i just know il put my all in it, i left paid job as well to start cos i had procastinated for so long. One thing i know is, people must wear clothes. Nigerians love to look good and everything boils down to your tailors and providing excellent service and always being on time. These areas are going to be my strong points, my customers must be pleased. A pleased customer is a returning customer. I hope for the best and i know in my heart i wont regret leaving paid job.

I was also in your shoes, i sketch and design and people see my work and are pleased. I would advice you put your designs into reality, or you go to fashion houses and show them some of your designs, i mean some and not the best, because trust me the moment you walk out of that place you would see your ideas on the runway. Anyways i am fortunate to have my own workshop now, it is in the equipping stage and i would bring my designs to light. I pray God helps you out.
