i was browsing wt it and everytin suddenly freezed,i then off it to restart again bt it refused to come up. I went to the BIOS to diagnise d problem and it shows hard disk fail. I never dropped it or anytin on it.

Turn to the back of the Laptop n unscrew the hard disk compartment. make sure the disk is properly fixed and the cables connected are firm. it happens very well on desktops, what i do is to remove the IDE cable n fix it properly.

Just ensure the cable connecting the hard disk is firm. if u dnt know ur way around dis, i suggest u get someone that knows how to do so.

But if after your laptop froze and a blue screen was displayed with codes b4 it restarted, then u mite need to take it to a proper technician to slave n check ur hard disk.

There is no best antivirus!!! they all do the same thing. it all depends on how u wanna get protected. dnt forget that all antivirus company makes antivirus for different purposes.

Take Avast for example, they have

Also for Bitdefender which is currently top rated in the world based on some certain criteria also have

e.t.c and same as AVG and so on,


I recommend that if ur getting an antivirus, If u want a tough one, go for the[b] "internet security versions" [/b]

if u want a normal one thats tough but lenient on some application, then go for the "professional versions"

We can't all make money like Dangote cuz it will lead to inflation and decrease in the worth of money. Money is meant to be scarce, everybody cant be wealthy.

e.g if gold or diamond were as available as gravel or like the stone we pick up on the street, value wil not be placed on it. they are all stones but gold and diamond are scarce. thats why they place high value on them.

So my brother looking at it from an economic angle, it can't just be possible so the economy can be balanced.

Another thing u fail to realize is that as another dangote rises in nigeria (probably u @ poster), another billionaire will fall some where in the world. thatz just the way it is.

So all u need to do is do your best and hope that one day u will rise someday

^^^^ This is crazy but but i suggest u change the board and components of the system to another entirely.

Might sound stupid but i did same. I once lost the processor of my hp compaq cq60 which was an AMD Sempron. took it to computer villa n change it to AMD Athlon Dual core, cuz i couldnt find the sempron in d market. the good side of it is dat, the Athlon worked n is dual core, while sempron is single core so it was a win-win situation.

Since the manufacturers are recalling the system back, it might be hard to get the same parts back. so i have 2 bitter suggestions for you.

1 - Change the board n processor to sumtin else that would work

2 - sell it as scrap and add money to it and get a new laptop that will give u piece of mind.
