Tithing is not right or wrong. Its a form of giving. Bible only frown at giving grudgingly. Whatever the Pastor do with the money is between the Pastor and God.

In motherless homes, people do visit them with gift items and food but a times the people working there do divert these stuff for personal use. Did that stop people from giving to motherless homes

1st cor16v12 Paul gave instructions that they must continue to contribute every first day of the week. So that when the money is needed when he comes for it, there will be no need 4 emergency contributions.

Be informed, a number of non Christians pay tithes, I currently have a friend who never jokes with tithing even though he's not a Christian. The reason is simple, they are cognizant of the multiplier effects of the action in their finances.

But, really, tithing or not shouldn't be as controversial as you take it. If you think it works for you, do it, and if you think it doesn't, so be it.

But I know the end we justify the means.

Simple, only a handful of billionaires are Christians and being a Christian is one thing, paying tithes is another. Most Christians do not pay tithes.

Funny, he said you will be poor if you don't pay tithes, but most of the men on Forbe list do not pay tithes. You can't even get to Forbe list if you pay tithes, you can't be giving 10% of your wealth to church and still be able to compete with those that don't.

He's doing great but that's not the primary reason for the establishment of the church. God is more interested on how many sinners that repented in this church or charity organization. If a sinner should come here, get trained without salvation, the pastor will be likened as one who married the future and lost focus. All the same, he's doing a good work.
