One of d greatest tragedies in human existence is for a person not to know something, but yet he thinks he knows. Its now worse when d person is still arguing that he knows.

If u remember at least ur secondary education, every time there is a new topic, d teacher begins that lesson by first and foremost attempting a definition of d topic. So am wondering what exactly u are arguing about when u can't even attempt a definition of d concepts u are throwing around. What does "economic" mean? What does "stimulus" mean? From d noun stimulus, u get a verb stimulate. Then what is "package" as used within this context?

I don’t think we need to resort to insults in trying to drive home our point. You said an Economic stimulus package are set of measures put in place by govt to stimulate an economy, I quite agree with you but you are missing my point. The economic activity here isn’t the giving of free rice to the people. The LASG don’t produce this food items themselves, they have to buy them off from either individuals or organizations that produce them. What this simply means is that money would exchange hands between them and that’s an economic activity. With the lock down, the possibility of having this items sold by this organization or individuals would have been reduced. So the action of the state government to buy off this items from this people in large quantity is an economic stimulus package to that sector.

And to answer your question as regards the stimulus package/ relief material question, YES it is a stimulus economic package put together by Lagos state government for residents, targeting 200,000 households in the first phase.

This involves food packs, put together by the agriculture ministry

It falls into the category is stimulus package because the essence is to cater for the vulnerable communities and households, who rely more on daily wages.

You have a smart phone, a little bit of research would have given you more information. An sms was sent to phone numbers that was used to register asking them to confirm if address is still valid. If you get the Sms and don’t respond it’s as good as your address is no longer valid and the relief material won’t get delivered to you.
