Many thanks to the constant contributors on this platform, God bless you all. I read reviews about Frankrobbn1 (fandrglobal.com) on here and I contacted him. Thank you again Mr Frank, a gentleman and professional to the core; although you have to be VERY patient with him.
So to all those waiting, may God answer your prayers. I am rooting for you all and to prospective applicants, I wish you all the best.

Congrats MumTee..Could you or @Phema please send your sample budget sheet to duane162k@yahoo.com.
thanks.

[quote author=MumTee post=38022289]@ zoemummy, your case is a bit similar to mine. Let me share my experience with fellow Nairalanders. I stumbled on this platform b4 my scheduled visa interview last month and I must say thank you to everyone here. You ve been all very helpful with information shared, God bless us all.
When I filled and submitted my application early July, it was with the intention of attending a conference in August and all details and contacts captured that.
But, along the way I knew I would use the visa for childbirth too. Interview date was Aug 17 and conference date in LA was Aug 25th which were too close. I discovered it will be difficult to convince the VO that my true intention was the conference knowing that I was pregnant and by interview date, my bulge might be showing.

With the information I got on this forum, I decided to change my intent to have child birth and started putting my burden of proof together. Got d Doc/hospital correspondence, prepared my budget sheet (thanks to Phema's sample budget sheet), did a breakdown of my net worth, employment details etc.
With all these in hand, nice accessories, nice camisole complementing my blue heels, well made up face and nice frangranced perfume, I headed for d interview more than a month after application was submitted.

Hi Reachyetty,

Did you apply for Tourism or Medical visa in your online application?

reachyetty:
@ Hotstepper:
We submitted online, and did our Biometrics early last week. Now I don't know how long the wait for a response will be because I am already 31 weeks along.

Then please does anyone have any idea how much the cost of delivery is in Alberta?

ferdimako:
You would have checked ur friend's package while he did us. Good way to double-check ....or is he a bachelor? I believe you have resent.
No I haven't, need to re-fill the forms and print out new statement. Or can i just add the missing form and resendhuh Some infos were ticked on the forms with pencil.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Yankdreamer: 8:34am On Nov 10, 2014
My application was returned last week because i did not fill the "Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) (PDF, 79 KB)" for my spouse..Ouch!!!, i must have missed it while preparing my application. Intending applicants, please take note.
Thankfully, my NOC 2281 is not even up to 50% yet so hopefully i can still make it.

@Scrollmeout, my app was received on June 18 and my friend that we submitted together was debited around oct 8, i was devastated at that point, calling my bank everyday..So while preparing a new app as suggested by folks here, you might want to check your mail incase they've returned yours too so you can know where you got it wrong..

Thanks Yvete for the sample answer to "How did u hear about the school" especially college confidential,
Yvete: Anyone that reads your interview last week would be impressed. You didn't give them the chance to make negative assumptions before you 'cut in" with more information. I remember stating that leaving Church-affiliated colleges in Nigeria to pursue a relationship with God in the US is not reasonable(the VO might be atheist and sick of noisy Church neighbors in Nigeria).

@McKenzii I ended up doing Intl Rel with (Econ minor) for my undergrad.

@Mamacita: Shey u hear! grin Don't wanna scare you my dear, but NO SINGLE WORD ANSWERS. Questions like where did you hear about this school can be answered like ......."I came across a school ranking system; USNews while researching schools that offer this program in the US." or............ "My boss/Ex-employer is an alumni of the school and he earns very good salary here so I looked it up" (See a tie? Shows another reason why you want to return to Nigeria) ... There are no right or wrong answers, but some are better than others. If you got accepted to one of those not-so-popular or 'UNRANKED' private schools (Yes, some schools are not ranked), College confidential may be a better choice cos' its more interactive with direct info from students/alumni of your intended program. You will find wack schools like Everest on there, i tell you the truth.

Kakatazz: Hello,
I want to apply for a masters program probably MBA.
I am a masters holder already and I have friends who have traveled on f1-visas but had no GMAT and Tofel.
Please what are my chances of getting the visa without the GMAT and Tofel?

I need help please.

Tnx.
@ Kakatazz...

All my friends in the US didnt take any of the standardised test before their interview (but they did when they got to US) so i thought i can escape it. I'm sure that was part of the reason why i didnt get the visa because they'll DEFINATELY ask you, i'll advice you to take atleast one. I am trying to get info on where to do GRE before i book another appointment.. TEST is important

jimtosam: I'm so sorry my brother. I know you are bouncing back.

1. Here, we always advise people to take at least a standardize even if it wasn't a requirement.
2. Your first answer to question "why MSIS" did not relate to the company you are returning to after your studies. You would have added how this company is thirsty for an IS professional and how this will help them in the future.
3. You wouldn't have replied the VO that you were advised to take undergrad because of low grade. I think you would have said because of some deficiencies.
4.You said you are returning to ur place of work, did u go with a study leave approval letter?
5.Please, tell us gaps between your studies.
Thanks Jimtosam..

1. Yes i read the test part severally and was at some point thinking of taking it but timing wasn't right for me as i've already gotten the admission and interview date was close.
2 & 3. Noted..
4. No i didnt go with study leave approval.
5. I graduated 2008, served immediately, travelled out for a year for prof certifications and started working since 2010.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part3 by Yankdreamer:
Hello Guys, i have been following this post quietly for sometime now and i'd hoped i'll come here today to give the good news but..Good knows best, below is how my interview went;

VO - Why do u wanna go to the US
Me - Im going for masters program in IS at ...
VO - Why MSIS
Me - Because it is an advanced degree that combines the technical foundation of compt science and key business concepts and information, as a grad of compt science and haven worked in the field for a while, it'll help me have a better understanding of the design, development & implementation of IS to enhance business process..cited an example that most organisations here dont have competent IS professional and thats why they always prefer to outsource IT departments...bla boa
VO - (was busy typing without looking at me) why the school
Me - The schools curriculum is focused on helping students understand the use to IS to enhance business operations, the curriculum is flexible and mostly research oriented and their faculties are well experienced professionals in the field.
VO - I see here you applied to ... uni last year as an undergrad
Me - Yes, i actually applied for a masters degree but the Admission officer adviced that i do undergrad first cos of my low grades and then transfer after a year..so that was the plan but the consular that interviewed me insist i can get schools that'll offer me a grad admission..and so here i am.
VO - Did you take any test
Me - No, i was admitted based on my undergrad n professional certs (i should've shown him something - first flop)
VO - What will u do after the program
Me - Come back to my place of work to apply the knowledge n experiences learnt in the states because my current job requires expertise in the field
VO - Who's paying
Me - My brother is sponsoring
VO - What does he do
Me - Realtor (i should have brought out the letter n statement but i didn't, waiting for him to ask but he didnt---2nd flop i think)
VO - Im sorry you do not qualify for bla bla bla at this time

I know i started off well but was relaxed later so i'm thinking of paying another application fee right away, i need advices. NB..they were generally brutal today, i have travelled before (not to US though) n he saw my visas tot that would help bt it wasnt a yard stick. I would have considered taking any of the test but i don't think that was why he refused me so and i dont want my sevis payment to go down the drain..i applied for Spring 2013 so i still have lotta time..

Thoughts!!!
