The Tinubu handlers fumbled, and bungled it big time. They showcased him like a packaged invalid. It would have been better to present him as a brilliant politician and administrator, warts and all, who is capable of independent thoughts. No man is perfect. His gaffes would have been more pardonable and acceptable. He was expected to sell his own vision and mission.

The Chatham House on Tuesday said Bola Tinubu ambushed its chairman when he appeared for an interactive session on Monday morning.

The frontline British think-tank said the ruling All Progressives Congress presidential candidate undermined its normal arrangement and did not seek prior permission to act in the manner he did.

Mr Tinubu, during his appearance, delegated political surrogates that included Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to answer questions on his behalf.

Mr Tinubu assigned the question on oil theft to one of his campaign spokespersons, Dele Alake; the question on security he assigned to Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna; and the question on youth development and inclusion to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River.

Also, a former commissioner of finance in Lagos, Wale Edun, was asked to answer the question on job creation; Mr Gbajabiamila answered a question on national defence while incumbent Lagos State governor Mr Sanwo-Olu took the question on youth inclusion in politics and governance.

“Yesterday’s event was not the norm and our Chair was not notified in advance that Mr Tinubu would be delegating questions,” a spokesperson for Chatham House said in an email to Peoples Gazette. “The principle of Chatham House events is to be able to hear the views of invited speakers, and also to hold those speakers to account.”

Nigerians have expressed serious condemnation of Mr Tinubu’s conduct during the question and answer session of the event. The former Lagos governor failed to express his plans for the country in several areas of governance, including health, education, economy and national defence.

Mr Tinubu, who has continued to ignore Nigerian media, has committed repeated blunders on the campaign trail that critics said showed manifestation of severe medical conditions.

Since the start of the campaign in February, Mr Tinubu has been seen urinating on himself, carrying a catheter device to take his bodily waste and speaking gibberish during public appearances.

The presidential candidate has dismissed public concerns about his health, saying it was misplaced since he only needs his mental capacity to govern and not his physical capacity, which should be reserved for manual labour workers.

If you're a Nigerian who has been affected by the impact of the current administration and after watching all the presidential candidates and still choose to support Tinubu ehn, may you never experience happiness

It takes a heartless and evil person for anyone to still be supporting Tinubu. Everyone now know that Tinubu is senile, demented, and mentally sick.

Can any bank in Nigeria say GTB or Zenith appoint someone like Tinubu to manage its affairs? No!

Can any oil company say Chevron or She'll appoint someone like Tinubu to be its CEO? No!

Can Dangote employ someone like Tinubu to be its manager? No!

No company in Nigeria or even globally that wants to progress will employ a completely redundant old man like Tinubu to be in charge.

There is reason why there is retirement age. It is a fact that when people get old, they're prone to mental and physical decline. They're no longer able to coordinate thoughts for better productivity. They sleep most of the time and they're often sick. They don't take up challenges anymore.

So why do some people still support Tinubu?

APC just lost whatever remains of the 2023 Elections. Whoever suggested the Chatham House drama thought it out badly. It was a disaster, even the SW would rather vote another party than APC. What a disgrace to Nigeria, Africa and the black race.
Tinubu could not answer a simple question as his date of birth, he had to be presented a script to read.

If you come here to preach team ship, you are just lieing to yourself. First Tinubu is unaware of himself. He cannot articulate a thought but wants to rule a very difficult country like Nugeria. Even if you are APC minions or chieftain, you should be worried that this happened.

The Chatham disaster was an avoidable disaster. All the gaffes and incoherent and manifestly bad performances was internal. To now export such disgraceful persona in the world stage is a big disgrace to APC.

Just imagine that Osinbajo was ar the centre of affairs yesterday.

How did we even get here. I ve been attacking friends unbehalf of Tinubu believing if not for anything, he has the capacity but at this point its all charade. The man has long gone. Somenody who cant answer simple questions thrown at him at the Chatam house after running away from the same engagement in Nigeria obviously can't take Nigeria any where.
I am now obidient not just for me but my unborn children and the ever increasing and frustrated poor people all around me. Fellow comrades, its time to do this for Nigeria. Tinubu is obviously not going there to lead but a figure head under which worst impunity is bound to ravage the country

That’s how they’ll share and loot Nigeria resources dry if he mistakenly wins (God forbid). From my observations tinubu will drop out of the race latest by January 15th, it is now visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that Tinubu is officially not in the race. Man has a serious mental health problem.
